We really enjoyed staying at the Solana Villas, it was very peaceful and quiet. It was not easy to walk in the immediate neighborhood, but close to plenty of things to do by short drives including hikes and sunset views on Mt Lemmon. John & Danielle were great hosts and very responsive.

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It is located adjacent to a paved bike path, a small lake, and hiking trails. A short drive provides access to a supermarket and a variety of restaurants. Keep in mind, however, that you are about 15 miles north of the Tucson city center and at least a half hour to forty minutes from the major attractions. It was our home base for 10 days of fun and exploration but the spa and pool plus a spacious living room and backyard make it a great place just to hang for the day! We would return!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Situated in a really nice area and neighbors the Loews Ventana Canyon resort. There is a hiking trailhead right along the side of the unit and an absolutely incredible view. We got to see a whole pack of javelina right in front of the porch area on one night which was really cool! The screen blocks the view a little but probably nicer than having insects and adds a little privacy from the hikers. Would totally stay here again the space was really clean with a comfortable bed and in my favorite area of Tucson!

Check in was flawless. We checked in early. Nikki & Célida responded in less than 5 min when we asked. The driveway is steep, & dark at night. It’s lined with motion sensor lights! There are 20 steep steps to the front door. It’s not accessible for those with mobility issues. Pack light. Dragging a 50# suitcase up is not easy. The elevation makes for spectacular views from every room. The patio area is ideal for the amazing sunsets. The pool & spa are outstanding. We opted for heat & used it daily. The pool “toy” container has an abundance of floaters. The patio seating is comfortable. We ate every dinner outside. There are 5 large TVs & streaming was easy. WiFi is fast. The beds are so comfortable. There is an abundance of towels, including pool towels. The kitchen is well appointed. We had everything we needed for cooking & grilling. Two weeks in February was not enough! We will stay longer in 2026. Note, the weather in 2025 was warmer than usual, so the patio was used every day.

This location cannot be beat! This is the 2nd time my siblings and I have stayed with our kids and it's always an excellent time. Located on the main street, it's right across from the General Store and next to the Cookie Cabin. Easy to get to and holds 3 cars very easily in the drive way. Hikes very close. a TON of stairs in this 3 story home, so definitely not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

Quiet, beautiful home with great views and easy access to an amazing hike up Ventana canyon. The complex has a great pool and spa for relaxing after a day of adventures. Highly recommend.
