We had an amazing time here. Perfect for dog walks along the beach just a stones throw away. Lovely pubs within a few miles and a great all round location to stay. Will definitely be back!

What a great location and fantastic chalet with all the amenities you could want. The view was picturesque and just as described and what we wanted. We didn't really explore the area as we were just so comfortable. Both Joanne and David are super-hosts and we are very jealous of what they have/created. Would highly recommend

I adore this place. The house is larger than it seems in the photos. Three beautiful seating areas, all with sea views. An enormous kitchen and well stocked kitchen. Washing machine and tumble dryer are very handy. A really beautiful ensuite bedroom. The childrens attic room offers lots of fun for the children. I loved the coastal walks and the wild sea. I hope we come back soon. X

Totally fabulous! This is one of our favourite every Abnbs. The location was great- right on the water and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is exactly as described and had everything we needed during our stay. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We particularly enjoyed: Heligan gardens; the Fowey Hall walk; hiring a boat for an hour; kayaking directly from the house (we bought an inflatable kayak with us); Readymoney beach; eating ice cream from Ruby's and King of Cones. The kids loved the upstairs bedroom because they had their own floor/bathroom but they did comment that that it gets quite light in the morning so would recommend a sleep mask or gro blind if you're a light-sensitive sleeper staying in that room.

Julia is a wonderful host—always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The location is perfect, with a lovely local bakery and shop just steps from the front door, and the harbour only a short walk away. The cottage itself features a beautiful patio area beside a peaceful brook, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Each room is spacious, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with lovely kitchen appliances and cooking ware. A bottle of wine and crisps were left for us on arrival which added a nice touch! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future!

Amazing house - what a beautiful location and amazing view of the sea. Wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of waves. We even swam past the living room window! Great location next to a lovely pub and close to all the nice spots in the village. Sally was great to communicate with and gave us useful local tips and advice. The kids absolutely loved it. We got the boat from Plymouth which was really fun too. Already planning to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

Unfortunately we only had two nights in this amazing apartment. We could have easily stayed much longer, the location and the views could not be beaten. The bed and bedding was worth noting too, so comfortable!! Thank you so much Lucy, we had a great time!

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! A lovely week in a beautiful setting. Just what we needed to kick start the school holidays. From walking the coastal path to Hope Cove to paddleboarding on South Milton Beach we all had a great time.

Fabulous location right next to South Milton Sands, a lovely National Trust beach with a large sandy beach and great rock pools at low tide. Very thoughtfully presented house with lovely accessories that reflect the location. Just a short walk over along the coast walk to Hope Cove. Delightful!

Excellent communication and always accessible. Caravan was positioned really well, it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle from the front. Easy to find, with host providing good additional information about the area. Lovely area to explore both on foot or by car. Good facilities on site and useful site staff. We had a great time.

Stunning apartment with beautiful views of the the South Sands Beach in Salcombe. Perfect locations for a relaxing family holiday with use of the Spa/Pool in next doors Hotel. My kids did not want to leave. We will 100% stay again soon.

The location is perfect for a car free weekend enjoying all that Salcombe has to offer including the ferry network. The apartment is modern and comfortable - a great pad to come and go from. It was very clean, with good beds!

Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Chalet had everything we could have needed and more. Easy to access and very clear instructions on how to get to the property. Surrounding areas absolutely stunning and so peaceful and quiet. Cafe provided nice selection of food and drinks. Would recommend The Fisherman’s arms if you venture into Plymouth. Heather, as a host, was very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us with our last minute booking.

Booked Driftwood for a 3 night stay to celebrate special birthday. It did not disappoint, we absolutely loved it wished we could have stayed longer. The view is beautiful and ever changing, so much interest. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Stunning trio of beaches. We had our elderly dog with us so swam twice a day on the main Bovisands beach which was was a lovely gentle 5 mins walk away. I should add that sea glass hunting on the beach immediately in front of the chalet was amazing! The chalet was warm, clean, really well equipped, lovely little kitchen, great shower, comfy bed and delightful lounge diner. Highly likely that we will be back. Thank you.

I would always recommend the flat, this was the second time we visited and once again it was spotless. It is central for Looe and its an easy walk to numerous walks along the coast.

A delightfully quiet location, yet just a ten minute stroll to the bay and the two villages. Linda was there to greet me when I arrived which was very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this cottage. Highly recommended.

Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean property with fabulous views. Ben and Lauren were very responsive and accommodating, allowing us an early checkin which was super! We didn't have a car so caught ferry from Barbican (£3 pp and only a 5min trip) so easy! Ventured back and forth to Barbican for cute pubs, restaurants and shops. Good to note there are no local shops near the property so bring food and necessities with you. We brought food in Barbican. Again, very easy. Property had great bbq and balcony to sit and enjoy the views. Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. We had two dogs who loved the space, the dog treats (thank you!) and the dog bowls. We didn't want to leave :) Definitely recommend this property.

As an adult family of 6, we had a fantastic long Easter weekend in this lovely property. Mark was very quick to respond to any communication and made everything very straightforward before and during our stay. We loved the location, with everything within easy walking distance. The views are to die for .... will definitely miss them and it felt like home from home. Love Fowey and love this beautiful property and will definitely be back again one day. Thank you!

I'm always a bigbury fan, and Raz's bell tent did not disappoint, spacious great views , not boxed in with neighbours, dog friendly, off grid (ish) , lovely artisan coffee and pizza truck on site. I will be back. if I could change one thing it would be few more knives and equipment in the kitchen but at a stretch that's a ni e to have as I loved the place and Raz is lovely
