Our stay at Rose Cottage was wonderful in every way! The thoughtfully designed space is both inviting and relaxing, and spotlessly clean. The spacious (and beautiful!) kitchen has absolutely everything one would ever need, including a local favorites guidebook to make the most of your time. Steve and Debbie are excellent hosts and I certainly hope we can return in the near future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house was perfect for our family. It was convenient to Wintergreen resort and not far to some local restaurants. We enjoyed our time and happy with all that was offered. Ben was super responsive and willing to help with any questions.

Very clean. Very nice. A nice touch was a clean fireplace and some split dry logs ready to load. Bed was comfortable. Communication was good. Already booked for next year. Thanks!

This was the perfect spot for our trip. A friend of mine and I brought our teenage sons for a quick weekend snowboarding trip, and needed somewhere with three sleeping areas. The loft had 2 beds and a fully bath which was exactly what we needed for the boys. It was super convenient to everything with a shuttle stop right out front. Plenty of parking, great amenities, clean, and easy to find! Also very cozy! We’ll definitely return!

The house was great! It’s located in a very pretty area and plenty of room for our family. It had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend away. Breanna was very responsive and helpful. Everything was clean and I would stay there again and recommend to others.

We had suchhh a great stay! Everything exceeded our expectations and Jeff was even kind enough to let us extend checkout to 2pm which was very helpful for our large group. Furthermore, the place is absolutely beautiful, the balcony is the best part!

If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway tucked into the mountains of Virginia, this place is absolutely for you. The views were just stunning, the house was clean and in pristine conditions, and it was decorated with a great designer’s eye. The hot tub was a relaxing touch and the bed was comfortable. The shower was HOT and the steer pressure was perfect. I enjoyed having instructions for the coffee machine, so I could enjoy a cup in the morning on the balcony overlooking the morning sky. Just breathtaking. The only recommendation I can make is to have an extra set of towels. I had to use my shower towel as the hot tub towel, since my cousin had to do the same with the only other towel. As an FYI, as Kevin mentioned in his description, 4wd is highly recommended :) I love some good off roading roads and my 4Runner handled the driveway perfectly! Keep in mind, you’re in the woods, expect bugs at night. Highly recommend this place! Thanks for building such a great, fun spot!

We had a great stay here. Kimberly was kind enough to let us reschedule after some of our party got the flu and we had to cancel the original reservation. Entering the house was easy and there is a book of useful instructions. The hot tub and fire pit were easy to use and nice after a cold day on the mountain. When we checked in we didn’t have paper towels, but the host responded to my message quickly and provided all the paper products we needed the next morning. We had a little trouble with the hot water in 2 of showers, but were able to use the other two. All in all, we had a great stay!

Our stay was outstanding. There were 6 adults, 3 grandchildren and 3 dogs and we all had plenty of room. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the grandchildren loved the jacuzzi.
