We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

we stayed with Margaret for four days in August with family. We used the house as a base . I would definitely stay here again.

La casa è incantevole. Tipica anglosassone con delle bellissime vetrate sulla campagna. La cucina era ben attrezzata anche se non abbiamo avuto modo di cucinare molto. Abbiamo però apprezzato la presenza di alcuni generi alimentari utili per la colazione del mattino. Letti comodissimi. Tutto molto pulito e in ordine. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa e gentile. Great house, perfect for a hen party. Everything we needed, pool and hot tub were great although we couldn’t get many bubbles in the hot tub. Other than that tiny thing, we had a great stay and would stay again

Heathers place is in a lovely location with stunning views from the rear garden, the property is equally as nice , clean and tidy and the kitchen is well equipped, would definitely book again

The lodge was cosy and welcoming, the host was extremely friendly and helpful. She left us lots of extras like tea,coffee, milk , snacks and fresh flowers. I would highly recommend the place.

A wonderful great stay. Would highly recommend. Coming from the states I didn’t miss any of the modern luxuries of housing. Fully functional kitchen, and warm spaces with lots of natural light. A truly home away from home feeling. Thank you and hope to meet again in the future.

An excellent flat with great links to the centre of Edinburgh and for us coming down from the North it was easy to and accessible. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the flat and will definitely use again. Thank you

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

Ponadto, Marcin okazał się bardzo miły, pytał, czy niczego nam nie brakuje, i odpowiadał na wszystkie pytania. The apartment was clean and looked exactly like in the pictures. Additionally, Marcin was very good host, asked if we needed anything, and answered all our questions. I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. A big thank you to the superhosts for your kindness, patience, and excellent communication in making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. 🙏🙏♥️

Jamie is an absolutely lovely host and the flat is beautiful and spotless. The bus stop right outside is very handy, also the Co Op just around the corner. Not the most salubrious area but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again, an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.

Shonas Place is absolutely amazing. The house, the atmosphere, the landscape and decoration felt literally like in a fairytale. Absolutely stunning view. We felt right like at home. The house has everything one can think of and it’s just so relaxing. Sitting next to the fire and enjoying the calm moments outside the buzz. Communication with Shona was Very easy and smooth. We will definitely come back with the whole family

Comfortable and spacious house, easy parking, lovely garden, very quiet street. Walking distance to Gullane for cafe and pubs, and also to the bus stop for the short trip to North Berwick. Would happily stay again.

Everything absolutely as described. Felt homely and welcoming. Ideal for a few days exploring Edinburgh. Local supermarket 2 minute walk away was handy for milk and supplies.
