The apartment was pristine, beautifully appointed and had everything we could absolutely need or want- such a luxury! You were so helpful from meeting us to providing terrific recommendations for activities and restaurants. Thank you for taking such terrific care of us! We just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Jele for letting us stay! Lovely apartment with fantastic terrace and sea views. Welcoming host on hand even though our flight was delayed and checked in at nearly 10pm. Convenient location to the airport although the town us directly under the fly path for those light sleepers. We would love to come back in future and would recommend Jele's place!

Can’t say enough!! Amazing! Would give a 10 star if we could go that high. If you have a larger family or group of friends, this is the place for you. We had 10 women stay, very comfortable and plenty of room for more. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable, high ceilings, and 5 beautiful spacious bathrooms. Also, ( if you don’t want to share food (Ha! Ha!), there are multiple kitchens and refrigerators. Huge family rooms very spacious and closets in each room are big to where you could stay for a month. Quite a few stairs, but they are wide and less than a regular place in Old Town. Perfect Location, right on the main street by Pile Gate. There is double windows so not to noisy from people on the street. 24 hr bakery (we visited many times) across the street and a Irish pub within walking distance. Host has the best recommendations for excursions and restaurants, due to them being local. Book if you are able. Don’t need to look anywhere else.

To be able to stay within the old town city walls is such a unique and amazing experience. The apartment is just a two minute walk from the Buza gate, making it a very easy in and out. My kids loved being able to walk out the door and eat dinner at the restaurant just down the steps, and my mother enjoyed the indoor air conditioned respite from the steamy summer streets. Such a perfect stay!

Staying at Petra's , just outside the Pile gate was fantastic! We were so close to everything and the apartment was spotless . There's a bar and a restaurant just meters from the front door and a swimming beach maybe 2 mins walk ! Absolutely fantastic!! Just beware if you don't like stairs don't go to Dubrovnik!!! We had no issues for 4 people , great amenities, and even greater location!!! I would highly recommend Petra's place - just don't book it when we want to come back!!

Wonderful stay in Apartment Menguela. Exceptionally clean, large living space, 2 large bedrooms and a wonderfully spacious balcony with table and chairs. The sea view was beautiful and only 2 minutes (down steps) to the front with its many restaurants. There are boats to take you into Dubrovnik (€20 return) and the bus station is a few minutes walk (€4 return to Dubrovnik). Cavtat is a beautiful place and to be honest we were glad we chose to stay there. The walk around the headland and to the beach were lovely. Antun and his wife were very nice, kind people. Thanks for the homemade pastries and bottle of wine. We will be back!🤩 Lesley, Keith, Lorna and Stuart x

Amazing location. A nice small room with a private bath, air-conditioned and in a walking distance from the old town. Maria is a great host. She truly loves what she is doing. The garden and the kitchen outside make the place absolutely remarkable. There are 2 neighbour cats and some other animals that add cosiness. We would love to come back.

Das Apartment ist in einem wunderschönen Steinhaus in der Bucht von Šipanska Luka. Das Haus ist perfekt renoviert, mit einer einzigartigen Terrasse, die auch alles hat, tolle Aussenmöbelierung, Sonnenschutz, Markisen usw. Auch die Aussenbeleuchtung, super. Einfach alles durchdacht! Bravo! Innen ist es auch fantastisch eingerichtet, schön und modern mit einer tollen Küche, die etwas erhöht ist. In der Küche hat es alles was man braucht. Es fehlt wirklich gar nichts! Wir waren total happy!! Auch die Kommunikation mit Tanja, der Dame vor Ort: perfekt! Immer hilfsbereit und nett. Vom Apartment sind es nur paar Minuten zur Bucht, wo man schön baden kann. Wäre schön, wenn es öfters solche Apartments hätte, die ihren Preis wert sind. Gratulation zu diesem kleinen Juwel

Bardzo dobra jakość w stosunku do ceny. Komunikatywny gospodarz. Pokój położony w atrakcyjnym miejscu (samo centrum starego miasta). Nie było problemu z zameldowaniem się w nocy. Super opcją była możliwość kupienia produktów spożywczych w kuchni.

The apartment is gorgeous, with pretty touches, a well-stocked kitchen, a gorgeous large balcony with beautiful views and comfy furniture. The pool, which is about 20 metres away, did not disappoint. It’s much bigger than we expected and we could have a good swim as a family. My only reservation- and it’s not a big one - is that while Thorleif himself is an excellent host, his local person who runs it is not very communicative. I’m hoping this changes in the future. I’d also like to see interior blinds on the upstairs bedroom’s inner windows so that we don’t have to listen quite so closely in case a child gets up :)

We had a wonderful stay at Maria's, the only downside was we couldn't stay for longer! It was the best stay of our trip we highly recommend it

By some measure the best Airbnb experience we have had. A perfect apartment on a perfect island. Communication with Ben and Tanja was effortless and they were quick to respond and always helpful. The apartment is better than the fine images suggest. A five star experience, highly recommended.

Robert, stunning property in a beautiful location. Total relaxation and simply brilliant to sit back and observe local Croatian life. Tanja was fantastic, cannot praise her enough. Local bars and restaurants all good. Thank you.
