We had an amazing stay at castaway. We had loads of fun hiring sea kayaks and the view from our beach hut was amazing.

We had an absolutely lovely time. The place looked even better than in the photos, with all the described amenities. Ivana was a fantastic host, very helpful and responsive. Will definitely come again!

It’s realy a fantastic house in a calm neighbourhood and a fantastic view over the sea and nearby the sea. The host is very friendly and when we arrived she gave a warm welcome and gave us fruit, wine, coffee and beer.

We had an amazing week on our first holiday to Croatia.The Viola apartment we stayed in made our holiday even more memorable as it was only a five minute walk to the Old Town making it an ideal location.We checked in at 3.00pm and was greeted by Matko's brother who even helped us carry our luggage in .Matko came to welcome us a short time later and was really friendly and helpful as he had brought a city map for us and showed us all the different areas and recommended places to visit .He told us to contact him if we had any problems and he would sort it out promptly .The highlight of our stay in the apartment had to be our two new friends Juliet the tortoise and Miska the cat . Misha was so friendly and quiet and always came to greet if we were away for the day .We would have no hesitation in recommending Matko's place as a lovely place to stay and also Matko as a host .Thanks again Madeleine &Gerald .

Das kleine Häuschen liegt an einer schönen Bucht und ist komfortabel mit allem ausgestattet, was man für die Selbstverpflegung braucht. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war ebenso freundlich wie der persönliche Empfang durch Frano. Insgesamt haben wir alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mljet und diese Unterkunft sind absolut zu empfehlen!

Staying at Marina'a place was a dream. It was a truly wonderful experience, in which you are tucked away on the hillside surrounded by olive trees and lovely views of the rolling topography and sea. The intention of the landscaping, layout, and amenities of the cottage satisfied every possible need and more, making for a tranquil holiday. Marina is by far the best host we've ever encountered. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. It was a delight to talk with her and learn a bit about her travels and life on the island. Don't miss the opportunity to connect with her!

My selfish goal with this review would be to prevent you from making a reservation for this place - so that I would have more options to use it in the future! The reality is that I cannot be that selfish and that this slice of heaven should be shared in such a way that the most people possible can benefit from its exceptional nature. Never have I been more comfortable or at ease in nature than at Marko’s family house. My family knew from the moment we started down the driveway - that we were in for a life changing experience. The amenities were perfect for the environment. Please don’t consider this place if you need your hair dryer, washer/dryer, or infinity pool - you wouldn’t understand this place and all that it can do for you and your family if those are vacation requirements. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Marko and his family for creating such an EPIC experience. We will be back!!!

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame und schöne Zeit in dem Ferienhaus. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe sind der Hammer. Ende September braucht man das Wetter auf seiner Seite, sonst kann es schon recht kühl werden. Aber das sollte man selbst einplanen und einfach den ein oder anderen Pullover einpacken. Natasa war eine super Gastgeberin, stets kommunikativ, pro-aktiv und war auch bei Änderungen der Buchung stets flexibel. 5 Sterne sind hier verdient und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Úžasné místo s úchvatnou zahradou plnou zeleně, kde si budete připadat téměř jako na pustém ostrově někde v karibském moři. Nádherné, obrovské palmy, banánovníky, agáve, yuky a spousta dalších nádherných rostlin, kaktusů, olivovníků a keřů. Přesto že sto metrů od domu jsou příjemná místa na koupání v moři, kam jsme chodili ráno, kdy byly malé pláže pusté, je vám k dispozici nádherný osvetlený bazén, kde na vás od nikud není vidět, takže máte na koupání i odpočinek celý den i večer, absolutní soukromí. Děti i my jsme večer využili hřiště s šipkami a "golfovým kulečníkem" . Oba domy jsou velmi moderně a komfortně vybavené, navíc s příjemnými mořskými doplňky a dekoracemi. Využívali jsme i venkovní gril na dřevo/dřevěné uhlí, který perfektně fungoval, s jídelním stolem, který zakrývala zelení obrostlá pergola. Je to skutečný ráj, který v budoucnu velmi rádi navštívíme znovu a určiti na více než čtyři dny, které byly opravdu málo.

Antonia's place was just perfect for our stay (3 nights in peak August). Its location in the centre of the island is truly useful (about 10 minutes by car from Sobra&the ferry) and from there you can visit every corner of Mljet with a 15 minutes drive (or walk to the closest ones such as the Odysseus' cave). It has a large outdoor - dinner - cooking/grilling - relax area you can enjoy and the apartment although tiny is cute and fully equipped with everything you might need while there. Antonia is nice and welcoming and was a truly pleasant host. Highly recommended!
