We had the most lovely, relaxing weekend at the cottage! The view is amazing and the cottage is super cozy. Leslie and Gordon are very kind, welcoming hosts. This is a pet friendly gem in an amazing location!

Will Definitely Stay Again on Next Trip! What an amazing stay right at a working marina where you have water views on 2 sides and can enjoy watching the inner workings of the life on the many lobster boats leaving every morning and returning at evening. The location was perfect for great restaurants, local shopping, and as a home base for all the hiking destinations. Arcadia Sailing is right there also; our sunset sail was picture perfect. The AirBnB was everything we had read about and hoped for. Parking was great, access convenient, the views of the harbor amazing. As met as a family from NC, TX and OH to cheer my daughter on in the MDI half-marathon. The living area was warm and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the bedrooms roomy with great beds and bathroom access. Everything was clean and tidy. Having a washer and dryer was a nice amenity. Molly was available to answer questions and make recommendations. The only negative was that our collective stay was too short!

What a cute little bungalow. A one room wonder. Milk House was easy to get to and had a couple walks to ocean views. Right on the main road but very quiet. We were prepared for the limited kitchen & were able to make 3 fabulous dinners. Get ready to unwind & unplug.

I really liked this place. it's a very clean apartment over a garage down a long driveway in a field its very private. It's a one bedroom along with roller cots in the closet that can be set up for additional guests. The hosts were very friendly and supplied everything needed for my one night stay in the area.

Spacious listing, clean, great amenities, quiet and very easy to check in. We had booked another Airbnb near Acadia for a hiking weekend with my husband, 1.5 year old toddler and dog. The one we chose at first was not what we expected (too small) so we needed to find a new place ASAP. Derek's listing was available to book immediately and we were able to check in very last minute at 9:30 PM. He was very responsive, and we had a great weekend. The place was very clean and spacious and great living room for our child to play and extra bedrooms for him to nap. Room in the backyard for the dog to run around as well. Overall, it was perfect for what we needed for a weekend away to be close enough to Bar Harbor/Acadia.

Sitting looking out over the bay on a cold early March morning with the fire going was just the type of relaxation we were looking for. The photos don't do it justice. Had fun using the hot tub but just a little too chilly to use the outside fireplace, but Mihai had stocked the wood pile should we have been brave enough. Mihai lives right next door but you'd never know unless you needed him. We didn't. Everything worked. Clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. A lot of thought has gone into renovating this house and it shows in the amenities. The only advice we'd give fellow travelers is the spiral stairwell leading upstairs to 2 of the 3 bedrooms is the smallest I've ever seen. Thought should be given to bringing small children. The master bedroom is on ground level. Otherwise enjoy. It's a magical place and we thank Mihai for being such a gracious host.

Tim’s place was perfect and as described! Great amount of space for 2 people with a great location and clean apartment right outside of Acadia! Tim gave us a wonderful list of suggestions around Bar and Southwest Harbor that kept us busy. Highly recommend this spot- we’ll definitely be back!
