Have stayed in Southerness many times but this is the first time staying in an airbnb and won't be the last. Lovely property close to all amenities.

A beautiful stay in a lovely home. Port Logan is a lovely tranquil escape. The place was lovely and clean, well equipped with everything you could need for a home away from home. We would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our visit to Scotland, Tina was a very polite helpful host. The house is beautiful, very comfortable felt right at home. The only downfall worth mentioning is the staircase which is very low to ground level. Whilst I being short managed fine up and down the stairs my friend at 6 foot tall did knock his head accidentally several times. There is a sign coming down the stairs that highlights the low level stairway. None th less we really enjoyed our stay thank you Tina

Lovely stay at Powfoot over Christmas. Carolyn had very kindly put up lights and a Christmas tree for us which was extra special - thank you. Excellent instructions and detailed information about the house and the surrounding area. Also to highlight to take care on the mud flats when the tide is coming in. We enjoyed visits to Mabie Forest, Drumlanrig and Caerlaverock castles all recommended even on an atmospheric (wet!) December day!

We’ve found our happy place ! Location exceeded our expectations, the beach view and the short stroll down to it was blissful and the birds in the garden were unbelievable- so many , all day everyday! We had absolutely everything we could possibly need in the accommodation. We walked everyday and only left the area once to visit the red kite feeding station at Bellymack hill farm - what a joy that was. Even when it rained it was still bliss to be in a lovely warm environment watching the wind and the waves! Although there are other properties around it literally feels like you are alone- we will definitely be back in the spring/summer - I’m longing to swim in the bay!

Fantastic place to stay in and as a base to explore the Galloway peninsula. Recommend the steep but short walk to the local beach, which is great for beach combing at low tide. Property was well appointed and very clean. Ian is a great host, and communicated really well. Farm is tucked away, but Google Maps took us right to our cabin and Ian also sent clear instructions on how to get there (Thanks).

Had a fantastic stay. Layout was thoughtfully and cleverly done, creating a really comfortable stay for 4 adults. Lovely and warm, beds incredibly comfy, luxurious reclining chairs, lovely powerful shower and lots of useful utensils in the kitchen. Outside space perfect for dogs with large and well maintained gardens, backing right onto the sandy beach which is walk-able even during high-tide. As to Linda and Paul, they couldn't have been more welcoming, clearly they really cared about their guests. I would recommend taking advantage of Linda's knowledge and experience and do a glass workshop (takes a couple of hours). great fun and you come away with a lovely souvenir of your holiday. We would definitely visit again, particularly in the summer when you could take full advantage of the outside area.

Really enjoyed our stay. It's perfect for those wanting to really get away from it all. We saw deer most days, grouse and thousands of rabbits. Stunning views from the caravan windows and decking. The campsite was really quiet, the bar is only open at weekends and no site shop. About 3 miles away is a tiny village with a shop and a pub that's open at weekends. The beaches & coastline are stunning and lots of castle ruins to visit. It rained a good deal of our stay and there is nothing to do in the area when it's raining but cant be helped, we just went on long drives enjoying the scenery.

From the moment we were greeted at the parking and all through the stay and after we were super looked after, it is so much more than anticipated, every single thing catered for, IMMACULATE is no joke, you only need to arrive with a coat n wellies for the beach which is 10 steps away from your door, as everything else is covered, beds made, heating on, and individual sugars for coffee, (I’m sorry but that wee detail is my heaven) on the first night I messaged to say we would be booking again and I meant it, they won’t get rid of us. We even got a txt thanking us for leaving the caravan tidy 🥰 wonderful hosts, very thoughtful, IF you get the chance to book you would be insane not to!!! Thanks AGSIN for making my sisters surprise birthday so perfect ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Gillian’s caravan , it had everything we needed and the communication with Gillian was great .

We enjoyed our stay at Gemmas caravan, we had a great time in the caravan and getting out and about. Caravan was lovely, clean and cozy. We were given a late check out also, which was very much appreciated. Gemma was very responsive. Would recommend 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Sean’s and Kelly’s place . The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. . Communication was seamless; Sean and Kelly were always prompt and helpful. We truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a coastal getaway far from the hustle bustle of a city life ! I would definitely book again.

Beautiful place to stay away from everything but close enough to the main of Stranraer. Michelle was very helpful and proactive, helping us towards any questions. She provided us a clean and peaceful place to stay where we felt very at home, I will happily stay with Michelle again when visiting family. Thank you again!

Spotless, beautifully decorated, smelt so clean and fresh on arrival. Lovely touches like toiletries, tea, coffee, hand wash etc. like a hotel but in a caravan. Beautiful surroundings. Had a BBQ on the beach. Tried the entertainment, arcade, restaurant and all very good. We, as a family of 4, had the very best time. Would highly recommend, Matt was on the end of the phone and everything was made super easy. Will definitely be returning and would suggest to anyone that this is absolutely perfect for a family holiday that you can do as much or as little as you want and matt’s caravan ticked every box. Cannot recommend highly enough. Loved it. Thank you

I cannot recommend Gillian’s beautiful home highly enough, my partner and I booked it as a very last minute trip for new year with our two kids and it was just brilliant. Even in the typical Scottish weather the views were lovely and when the sun was shining it was stunning. The home has everything in it that you could possibly need and is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped and was spacious enough to cook as well as being a social area. We decided to book again as soon as we’d arrived! Thank you Gillian x

Lovely, cosy, warm accommodation in a perfect spot by the harbour. Kitchen well equipped, no microwave but wasn’t a problem for us. We stayed over New Year and experienced both a storm and a lovely sunny day. The Steam Packet Inn a few doors down was friendly and welcomes dogs which was great. We had an amazing meal on New Years Day and would highly recommend the Cullen Skink and beer bread. The double bed was extremely comfy and lovely soft bed linen made for a good nights sleep.

The sea cubby is located at the top of the hill with stunning views of the coastline and Solway, in a rural location. It was very comfortable , private , and peaceful which was exactly we wanted. Everything you could think of was provided facilities wise , in this pet friendly accommodation. We explored the coastal path to Kippford and had a lovely Sunday roast sat in the sunshine outside the Anchor pub. A lovely relaxing stay , and well worth a stay if looking at this area.

Had another very comfortable stay, home from home, with fantastic views of the Ayrshire coastline. David and Una being superb hosts throughout my stays here. Can highly recommend

Our experience at this property in Scotland was wonderful from start to finish. The booking process was straightforward, and our reservation was confirmed almost immediately, making everything effortless. Arriving at the property, however, turned into quite an adventure. We arrived in the evening amid heavy rain, with visibility low, and had to navigate a few remaining potholes along the way (though most had been filled in). Thankfully, we managed to find the key safe, unload our luggage, and settle in for the night. The next morning was a completely different scene. We woke up to clear skies and stunning views across the bay from both the bedroom and the lounge—it was breathtaking. Our first instinct was to get dressed and head straight to the beach for a morning walk, which was the perfect way to start the day. Inside, the house is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, with attention to detail everywhere. Premium shower gels were stocked in the bathrooms—a thoughtful touch

High Lodge sits in a secluded spot near the coast in the Machars of Wigtownshire. It suited our needs perfectly - the house is cosy - warm Aga..magical skies at night Lovely walks surround the estate. Our host, Michael, made sure we were settled and satisfied...a happy stay.

We’ve have stayed at the cottage a number of times now and we love it. It’s a fantastic location and beautiful surrounding. What’s better than to open the curtains in the morning to see Hare running around or step into the conservatory and view the sunrise and the amazing sea view. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday off the grid! Rosie the dog, also gives it five barks!

Luke & Karen are top hosts and went out of their way to help us with our booking - there was a chance we might not make it over for our stay and they were super patient and understanding in their communication with us. We did make it and it was great!
