We loved our stay at Lyn and Bobby's cottage. Whilst being spacious, it was cosy and comfortable with everything that we could have needed... and more, as there was a wonderful welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. A lovely surprise! The property was very easy to find - just one road back from the main street in Kirkcudbright - and yet it was in a very quiet road. The cottage's location ensures that it's easy to walk to the centre of Kirkcudbright and to enjoy all it has to offer. There are restaurants, take aways and a 'Tesco's' supermarket within walking distance as well. We parked on the road just outside the property, which was made unloading and loading easy. Lyn was a very proactive host, contacting us before and during our stay to ensure that everything was clear and that we were happy. We have only positive recommendations to offer and look forward to our next stay!

Gorgeous stay at The old School house. The house had everything we needed for a girls weekend to chill. The place was very clean and Elizabeth was very responsive to any queries or needs we had. Thank you so much, would love to come back.

Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. We had a fantastic few days and hardly left the estate as it was so beautiful to walk around. The house was lovely and had everything we needed in it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage more than met our expectations. The only challenge we had was figuring out the TV controls, but even then it didn't take long. The kitchen was well equipped and we had fun watching a movie on VHS.

We all had an amazing time at Richard’s house. The house is so big with lots of comfy places to chill out! Very peaceful and secluded. Beautiful church and river to explore. The house had everything that you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. The pool table was great as we had a full day in because of the weather - the kids loved it. There are a few take away shops in Longtown. a well stocked supermarket and a pub serving basic pub grub. We loved every minute!

Great house with wonderful hosts - one of the best places we have stayed. A very warm welcome was provided with some home baked treats and we felt immediately at home. We only stayed one night but the house would be perfect for a longer stay as well. You can tell that the hosts care about their house and want their guests to enjoy it too - we loved it!

Briony is an excellent host, proactive, friendly, flexible and accommodating. Burn Cottage was a delight, off the beaten track, quiet, not overlooked, and beautiful inside. The hot tub was great for dark sky, low light pollution stargazing. The house is very homely, welcoming and comfortable. We didn’t get to use the log burner but brilliant to have, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We only stayed one night, but it won’t be our last visit, utterly wonderful.

Spent a delightful 10 days at Rayvon. It is exactly like the photos - clean, well equipped, cosy, classic with some lovely modern touches. The kitchen is particularly pleasing - light and bright and well equipped. It is in the perfect location for walks on the beach with beautiful views across to Scotland. Oh and the excellent pub/restaurant The Ship is approximately 30 seconds walk away! The village has a quirky but very well stocked local shop too, in case you don’t fancy the schlep to Lidl. I visited in the Autumn so the beautiful flagstone floor was a bit chilly underfoot (note to self, don’t forget slippers next time), but I should imagine in the warmer summer months it would be very welcome. And the heating system and fabulous log burner (and my socks) more than made up for the cold feet! Would definitely recommend Rayvon.

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

Great place for exploring and Moffat has everything you need for a great stay . The house is fully equipped and a nice touch to have some Christmas decorations up. Would totally recommend

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

Thomas's place is as gorgeous as it looks in the photos. It is very handy for anywhere in Carlisle, and in a lovely area. It has free parking right outside which is very handy. It is very well appointed, and very tastefully done. There was so much room for the three of us. It had literally everything we needed and more. It was warm, even when the temperature dropped below zero. Would definitely recommend.

Spent 27 nights at Craig's place. Easy to check in, clear instructions left. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bed was really comfortable. The apartment had everything you need, no matter how long you stay. Pubs and some great restaurants all within 5min walk from the apartment. Definitely be back.

we have previously stayed here as it's affordable, clean and as described. Vanilla is a great host and if there are any issues she does her best to sort these out efficiently. I would recommend staying at vanillas place.

Had a great relaxing time . The weather was terrible but the air Bandb was tremendous and Moffat is a great place for quirky wee shops. Highly recommend. Would certainly come again if you will have us.

Just stayed here in a party of 10. What a super, well equipped house with everything that was needed for a great weekend with friends. Location is just perfect - overlooking the sea with lovely walks nearby and good, friendly eating places/hotel right next door and within short walking distances. Can certainly recommend.

We were blown away with the beauty and character of this gorgeous home!! It’s totally unique and an amazing space to spend time with everyone. The indoor and outdoor space was wonderful, we wished it had been summer weather to enjoy the outside area! Has everything you need and more, a very smooth check-in process and great communication from the hosts. Would recommend to everyone, would love to visit again! Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Beechwood House! From first making our booking, Nick was helpful and knowledgable in helping to plan our stay with recommendations. He was also very flexible with some changes we needed to make ahead of arrival and provided clear instructions for check in, check out and a “how to” guide for the property. The property itself is exactly as described - the house is equipped with everything you might need for a group getaway, there was a lot of space for the group to spread out and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Would highly recommend Nick and this property for anyone planning a group getaway!!

We had a brilliant stay here as a group of 11 in the lodges and main church building. We spent 3 night but easily could have stayed longer. The lodges were beautiful and peaceful and we woke up to birds singing and views of the trees outside. The church bedrooms were warm and comfortable and it was amazing sitting inside all together with the real log burner in the upstairs living room. Adam was very responsive with the only minor issue we had and the venue had everything we needed for a great time. The bar area with loads of records and sound system was particularly fun and it was really special that the freezer was stocked with ice when we arrived. Thank you so much for having us!
