Rose was excellent. I made a mistake with the numbers of people staying and sorted it out promptly. House was soo lovely and it was a great stay.

House was great very spacious for our group and provided everything we needed. Margaret even welcomed us to bring our dogs 😊

The cottage was easy to find and had good access. It was warm when we arrived which made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious, well laid out and had plenty of storage. The living room had plenty of comfy seating. It was very clean and had attractive decor throughout. The bedding was fabulous! It was fully equipped with everything you need. There was easy access to Dumfries and had lovely views all round. Milk was found in the fridge on arrival along with tea, coffee and sugar and the obligatory Scottish shortbread, which was yummy! Had a great stay - highly recommend!

Thank you to Richard for allowing my family and I to stay. We had a lovely weekend at the house which was as described and represented good value for money. Richard was very helpful in responding prior to the stay. Both he and his brother were very accommodating. Thank you.

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

Amazing home 🌸 we had a 1 night stop over while travelling to Scotland for our daughter’s wedding. Everything was as described and more…the only thing I would say is the house is much bigger than it looks in photos, it’s fabulous 🌸

Spent a very relaxing 4 day weekend here. The house was gorgeous, big and roomy, and if you like historical houses interest you, it had an abundance of original features which were fantastic to see. Despite how big the house and rooms are, it was very warm and cosy. the master bedroom had a sneaky view of the sea and Ailsa Craig, with bed being very warm & comfortable. the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, with a very large back garden if you wanted to spend time outdoors. Hilda was very quick to respond to messages and Alastair had a lot of information about the history of the house and the boat yard, which I found very interesting. They were both very accommodating when traffic meant I didn't get there til almost 10pm on the guest night. This was a really great place to stay and I would love to go back and stay again. Very spacious. The host was really helpful on arrival. Everything we needed was there. As we were working in The Studio Moffat (we're part of a young theatre company) we really appreciated how warm and comfortable this place is, helped us work hard over 4 days.

Beautiful accommodation , welcoming hosts and a truly peaceful place to stay. It felt secluded and quiet here. There are a couple of lovely walks from the house and plenty to do in the surrounding area a short car journey away.

Such a stunning place, an absolute gem! The apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything was really clean and and we all the amenities ine could think of. Never had so many alternatives for making coffee in one place 😄 Piers left a host of recommendations on what to do and where to eat for us as well. If you ever are in the area, this is the place to stay.

We had the most amazing time. The apartment was fantastic, well equipped. The pool was lovely and a massive hit with my 8 year old. We had lovely meals at the on site restaurant and the staff were lovely. The grounds of whitbarrow are honestly lovely. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Great location for activities, we visited Rookin Activity Centre and did horse riding and quad biking, which was great. We will be back

Charming garden flat with gym, sauna and steam room. Nice furnishings and artwork. Lovely warm kitchen with aga cooker. Thoughtful touches, milk bread butter, etc. Towels beautifully folded and positioned where required. Luke and Anna- Marie were perfect hosts.

Despite a hiccup with the electricity one evening, Tom's place was spotless. A little cold when we first arrived, but after a few hours of having the heating on, it soon warmed up. Tom was very helpful and generally quick to respond. Hats off to Tom, the apartment was well presented, squeaky clean and instructions very clear. Thank you

We had a very enjoyable short-term stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely small with very limited surface area but had sufficient for snacks and light meals. Anetta was an excellent host and the town of Dumfries had a lot to offer. A very easy walk into town although the way back was uphill.

lovely, clean flat with everything you need. host had great communication, very helpful. the hot tub is huge! brilliant for the price. the only thing I would say is that you are very aware of the level of noise you make when in hot tub considering how residential the surroundings are, but it wasn't a negative in any way for us. it is a four in a block flat, and we heard nothing at all from neighbours. it's very handy for local shops, can easily get food deliveries. all round a great weekend.

This is a little gem of a place to stay in in a little gem of a town. I was very happy and comfortable here.

Alison is a brilliant host and really made our stay in Ayr! The flat is clean and cosy and had all the bits and bobs we needed for a lovely stay. Really great communication before and during our booking. Would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we’ll be back!

great place to go especially if your visiting the uni like I was, a quick walk to the centre. lots of specifics instructions and guides that were helpful.

really well located property right in the middle of the town. easy to access outside of different shops and places to eat and drink.

We had a great time in Carlisle and Les was a great host. The flat was lovely and comfortable for our family and Les was very quick to respond to any questiond we had - he even brought new batteries for the TV remote within about 15 minutes of us letting him know there was a warning message on the TV. The flat is walking distance from the castle/cathedral/town centre and right by a supermarket so is really convenient. We would definitely recommend it!
