Thankyou so much for your hospitality it’s a beautiful place! Although our stay was short we were made very welcome and will stay here again but maybe next time for a little longer :)

We loved our stay and can’t thank Jennifer enough for everything. Her communication is outstanding, she’s so helpful, friendly and always goes the extra mile. She kindly had a high chair delivered to the property just to help us out. No question was too much and she replied instantly. The holiday village is exactly what we were looking for as it had so many facilities to entertain our baby. We loved the pool, duck pond, park, hot tub and children’s game room. The accommodation is fab- super comfy bed, and all the amenities that you need. Balcony had lovely views. She kindly provided thoughtful gestures including coffee, tea, jams, and shower/dental kits too. We can’t thank you enough for everything, and we can’t wait to come back in summer!

The cottage was perfect with everything we needed and more! Super clean and comfy. We would love to return and stay for longer to really explore. Many thanks X

We stayed at Ian’s Airbnb, It was spotless and came with everything we would need for our stay, everything was great however during the night it can get very warm but there is a fan and doors that open up to outside to help cool down. Swimming and other activities were included which was great, and there are slots for adult only swims and such. Would definitely visit again.

Great host and lovely place to stay. Very child friendly with a lot to do around the area. We had a lovely Christmas there thank you.

Host was really helpful and kind and made sure the space was clean and tidy with stuff we would need for our weekend away all in all definitely recommend

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

The house was incredibly comfortable and super clean. The bedding, including the duvet and pillows, was exceptionally cozy and made our stay very warm and pleasant. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

My installation team had a great stay at Margaret's place, we are back the following week for 5 days this time. Great host and great place to stay.

The cottage was easy to find and had good access. It was warm when we arrived which made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious, well laid out and had plenty of storage. The living room had plenty of comfy seating. It was very clean and had attractive decor throughout. The bedding was fabulous! It was fully equipped with everything you need. There was easy access to Dumfries and had lovely views all round. Milk was found in the fridge on arrival along with tea, coffee and sugar and the obligatory Scottish shortbread, which was yummy! Had a great stay - highly recommend!

Our stay at Marcus’s home was perfect for our family. ( including a 1year old) We had everything we needed and more. Great location with easy walking distance of Ayr town and eateries . Also an easy walk to the sea front. What a bonus! Marcus was always responsive to any questions we had and flexible with our arrival times etc. would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ayrshire. Thank you

Perfectly positioned for walking to Gretna town, local pub, shopping centre and the scenic solent, this is a very warm and welcoming home with excellent facilities, beautifully decorated and a lovely, large garden. Only a 3 minute drive to Gretna Green and lots of other local attractions. Host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was satisfactory. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again if we're in the area.

Great house and a lot of room for your money, Sarah was brilliant, very simple instructions to find the place. Just simply great value for money and a good location.

Loving stay over New Year, everything as described & great communication with Mellisa. Brilliant walk through the Galloway Forest from the doorstep. The cottage was warm & inviting & we had everything 4 adults needed. We will definitely be back for another stay 😊

It was a lovely place to stay and despite of no local shops or attractions nearby I would stay there because of the host and the peaceful surrounding. It’s the family’s first time in Cumbria and we experienced poor weather conditions that contributed to cancelled activities etc. However, this is not to do with the host or property. It’d be nice if guests could use the front door as access wasn’t allowed and sometimes wasn’t convenient when taking things in and out of the car. Also, a big pot for family meals would be good to have. Thanks for everything, Claire.

Really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. We were there to visit relatives so we are familiar with the area but tourists may benefit from a visitors guide. James sent instructions on check-in in advance and was available on his mobile when we had a minor issue. Plenty of fresh towels, clean beds, well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge - everything we needed. Thanks James.

The Old Servants House (TOSH) is a very special place to stay. Surrounded by inspiring books, you are able to relax and unwind in comfort and quiet. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped and has everything you need; there are plenty of carefully considered personal touches - arrival goodies, jugs of fresh flowers and clear information... The decor is stylish, retro and in keeping with the aesthetic of the home; lots of curiosities for the eyes, interesting artwork and sumptuous fabrics with soft, luxurious designs. Thanks to Alan and Catherine for all of their advice and generosity. Their attention to detail was considerable, creative and caring. We were lucky to visit when the woods were carpeted with snowdrops; we had stunning sunshine for rambling cliff walks and beach combing; we feel refreshed and happy! Our sadness was leaving and we hope to return, our stay was too short! Thanks for having us at TOSH, it was a real pleasure. 💗

We left White Scaur today. Our stay at Adrian and Stephania's was absolutely amazing. It is truly a home from home. They are fantastic hosts, they communicate very quickly, they are a lovely friendly couple and 100% deserve Superhost status with the hard work they have put in to make The Annex such a desirable place to stay. Their attention to detail is second to none. There is everything you could wish for, the soft furnishings, the mattress, pillows and towels are of superb quality. The whole apartment is completely spotless and smells amazing. The garden is lovely, Adrian and Stephania have been working hard to make it into peaceful haven for rest and relaxation. They provided us with some great information regarding the surrounding area and places to visit. We sat out on the balcony at night and listened to the owls hooting and looked at the stars. Many thanks for the bottle of wine on arrival and croissants for Sunday breakfast.Superb hosts. Karen & Gareth.

Janice was a fantastic host. The place was spotless and very comfortable. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed. There's a lovely pub, craft shop and cafe you can visit. All in Dunure and all great. We took a lovely walk down to the beach from the property. Would recommend wrapping up warm and proper walking boots but well worth it.

James was very attentive and friendly. When we had a problem he arrived within minutes. The flat was spacious and had recently been modernised with new kitchen and bathroom. We chose this accommodation as we were at the Jazz Festival and were only a few minutes away from the venues and the town centre. Have no reservations in recommending this accommodation

Second time staying here, great place to stay and as described in listing. Ideal location for access to bars/restaurants

Warm and cosy with a great shower. The living and sitting room are small but absolutely useable. The bathroom is warm and light and the bedroom is large with lots of storage. Having stayed in many places in the area I would stay here again just for the value for money. Its not the prettiest or most modern but its nice and clean, hot water and heat work well and its a great location. No noise in the bedroom at the back.
