The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Very spacious with all usual entertainment required. Bedding was fresh and clean. I would happily stay here again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our short day at Jacqui’s cosy little home. A great location to get to the numerous fabulous walks around the area. Cockermouth itself is perfect for bars, cafes and restaurants We will be back . Thank you jacqui for a perfect stay. Forgot to say thank you for the bread and milk - a much appreciated gesture - and the bread was amazing.

The house is clean and well-equipped. The other residents are respectful of the house-sharing concept. The location is ideal and the parks, Bitt and Rickerby are ideal for walking. The house is ideal if you want some quiet space. The rooms are well-prepared and clean. Local attractions are Carlisle Castle and Tullie House Museum. Wetherspoons do offer cheap and cheerful food. It's a five-minute walk to the town and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars. If you like Indian food, Masalam Bazaar is superb and there are three Thai places nearby too. I recommend the King's Head if you like the traditional real ale bar atmosphere and if you prefer the stylish, themed places, there are a few around too.

We absolutely loved our stay here. No issues at all; squeaky clean and beautiful house, in a great location. Perfect place for us to stay with our young daughter and visit family. Well equipped and well decorated and use of space. 100% recommend and definitely would love to stay again. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing host responded very quickly when asking questions . The place itself was absolutely phenomenal for me and my friends having everything needed for an amazing weekend. The location was right in the middle of everything needed to keep you interested.

We loved staying at this lovely renovated property. I walked past it a thousand times when I lived in Carlisle, but never thought I'd be staying in such a historic building. It looks tiny from the outside, but it's tardis-like once you get inside. The comfiest couch on earth is in the open plan living room/kitchen area, nice big TV, and anything plugged-in is Alexa controlled. The place is easy to heat, and the bedroom didn't need heating after the living room was warmed up. Nice view of the church and churchyard from the bedroom window. The original brickwork in the upper floor is stunning - and matches the historic area that the property is situated in. It's two doors down from an ancient pub, round the corner from M&S food, and the shortest walk down a lane to the very heart of Carlisle. We'll definitely look out for this place next time we're staying in Carlisle.

Lovely town house in Kirkcudbright, very spacious and well equipped. Tea, coffee, loo rolls, salt pepper etc, all the small things you need! Great location, close to all the shops and cafes. Margaret was very responsive and friendly in her communications. Would love to stay here again.

We had trouble getting in, due to our own mistake. Sharyn was patient and responsive to our messages and we were able to figure out what we had done wrong. The space was spotless and cozy and Sharyn left a lot of really nice small touches to make our stay personal. There were Scottish treats for tea, food for the swans, and a house guide book that answered every question you could have. The people of the town were wonderful and there was no shortage of places to eat and drink. Would love to come back.

Cracking little house, right in the centre of town. Very clean, comfortable beds, has everything you need. Strongly recommended.

Property was in the perfect location for us, near family & also close to the town centre. Good size for 3 adults, clean and well presented and well equipped for our stay. Everything was easy, key safe made our arrival nice and straightforward.
