A fabulous stay, perfect for two. From the moment of booking, Ainslie was very quick to respond, her directions were excellent. The Old Dairy was very quirky with everything you could need provided, lots of lovely touches to make it very homely. For us we particularly loved the wood burner and the hot tub (My husband wasn’t sure about using the hot tub, but when he saw how immaculate it was, changed his mind). We were impressed with the internet, using star link it provided a very good connection. The weather was beautiful while we were there and we almost wished it wasn’t as we didn’t want to go anywhere with Netflix and an ultra HD large television, I thought providing movie pick and mix was a very thoughtful touch. Most impressive of all was Ainslie who was a perfect host we were greeted with handshake and went home with a hug. 🥰

Home from home, stunning period feel with all the mod cons you could need. Hot tub is wonderful. Loved the Aga cooker in the kitchen, just be mindful for small children as it is always on and hot. Very private and some lovely walks around the estate. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in this amazing cottage in a beautiful setting. Was exactly what we were looking for. Travel cot and high chair were provided, which was very helpful. We would definitely come back.

Had a great time, Laura and family were very helpful with a minor hiccup one evening. Great venue family loved it. Good location for day trips including Loch Lomond and Royal Yacht.

This cottage was in a lovely quiet little village just a 3 minute walk to the main town. I could not fault this accommodation! It was beautiful done out and even had a hot tub for an extra bonus. The hosts were second to none and they made you feel at home. They recommended local places to eat and things to do. If you had any problems, they were happy to help! The accommodation was literally a 10 minute walk to Loch leven and it's so peaceful. All the locals were very friendly and you've got to try the fish shop and stove pizzas! Perfect house for our girly weekend away. Incredibly peaceful and great walks nearby. The instructions that Dina sent through by text were great and meant even finding her place in the dark was really easy which was fab as we were all tired after work and being able to find this gorgeous place without any issue was needed.Really beautifully situated and feels really private. Lovely neighbours who checked in as they were out delivering wood but were really respectful of our privacy. Hot tub was lovely, really clean and super warm.Was private enough that you didn’t feel overlooked as we sat out but still able to sit and look out over the lovely view of Perthshire.Really responsive host who was really quick to message back if there was anything I wanted to double check. Well stocked house with the basics of milk and what not in the fridge and toileries in the bathroom which was really handy and not standard at all places.Fab wee gem if you want a restful weekend away. Would go back.

It was a great place- in terms of its location, access to the two cities (Edinburgh and Glasgow), the space, amenities, serenity, a wonderful host (who pleasantly surprised you several times during the stay), pets around (there are many including two farm cats which are wild and adorable), bikes to make short rides around, a fully equipped kitchen, a jacuzzi in the open and place to have fire outside. It’s all pros and would love to go back again!

Lovely quiet spot and the house was everything we wanted.

Anne’s place is a great find—well-provisioned, cosy, quiet, and spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. Anne went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, offering a flexible check-in and surprising us with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, chocolate, and a great selection of coffees and teas. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the sofa provided a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Limekilns itself is a charming village with a friendly atmosphere and scenic coastal views. There are excellent options for eating and drinking, whether you’re in the mood for a cosy pub meal or something a little more refined. It’s easy to see why this would be such a wonderful place to live, and we would love to return in the future.

Fantastic stay at Boot cottage, great location to explore around the area including Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Dundee. Some lovely and thoughtful touches when we arrived too for us and our dog Lottie. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time at Libby’s. We used this location as a central landing place after exploring around St Andrew’s, Stirling, Falkirk, Culross. We felt well taken care of and appropriately checked in on. It was a very cosy stay!

This was a perfect quiet getaway with a beautiful view, and nice/convenient kitchen and laundry amenities. Bed had a heating mattress which was nice too. It got a bit cold even with radiators, but maybe we were using them wrong… Google Maps routed us incorrectly and getting there at night it was hard to follow Jill’s given instructions, but the instructions were clear. Overall very happy with the place and its amazing value! Look forward to staying again!

Very peaceful location. Beautiful countryside. Close to popular tourist locations. Comfortable cottage. Made to feel welcome by owners. Dog friendly. Especially enjoyed the woodburning stove, which warmed up the whole place.

Great little cottage, very clean and well maintained. We were glad to be in a small hatchback as getting to the parking space is a bit tight. Great location and host.

Beautiful and well appointed cottage in a very quiet location, the perfect place to unwind! Expertly hosted by Catherine from the provision of detailed instructions on finding ‘Roughstones’ to personal touches of a hand written welcome note not to mention the home baking!! This is a real gem that offers rural tranquility whist the towns of Dunkeld and Blairgowrie are only 10 mins by car. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roughstones or stay again in the future.

What an amazing cottage and location! Fiona was an exceptional host with outstanding responsiveness to a very late booking on our end with an early check in provided. The cottage has everything you could need and there is so much to do in walking distance and so much more with a wee drive away. We will return very soon as six days wasn’t enough! This is an outstanding option if your heading this way with a fantastic host.

Beautiful cozy cottage, we absolutely loved our stay. Duncan was such an amazing host, offering us a very warm welcome as well as detailed local recommendations for our stay. They provided some much appreciated basics of bread, butter, milk, and eggs, as well as coffee and tea. The place was clean and very cozy. Thank you for such an amazing place to stay!

A great stay - spotlessly clean accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful area

We had a lovely three day stay in this very cute, comfortable and cosy cottage. It has a beautiful location and is well located for exploring Fife. The cottage is very well equipped and they even provided delicious fresh bread. Many thanks.

What can I say about this cottage? Outstanding, absolutely beautiful it has everything you would ever need. The cottage is very clean and well laid out. Lynda is the best host so responsive at all times and sometimes proactive. We had a power cut after the recent storm, Lynda offered to move me to a hotel or another cottage. I decided to stay and put up with the power outage which was really cosy with candles burning and the log fire lit. The real lovely surprise is when you turn off the road down the track to the cottage and you see the Loch which you cross a causeway to get the cottage, amazing. It’s a place I definitely want to return to return to for a holiday. So thank you for letting me use your amazing place Lynda I hope to stay again 👍

I picked the cottage for a few nights away as it looked gorgeous and the plan was to spend most of our time just chilling in the house. The property is stunning. Really beautifully decorated and has a lovely luxurious feel. The kitchen is probably the best equipped I have ever stayed in, not only in regards to the equipment but also the pantry staples, cleaning items and lovely glassware and crockery. There are a host of gorgeous books, novels and cookbooks throughout the house. The bed is DIVINE, and the bedroom so peaceful. The wood burner in the bedroom was such a treat too. Patrycja was really responsive from booking right to when we left, helpful with all questions and local recommendations. I highly recommend the cottage and would definitely return.

What a beautiful place and a lovely comfortable cottage. We stayed a week at the Garden Cottage. A great place to make all kind of day trips in the area. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The 2 bedrooms each had a bathroom, perfect. Carola and James were incredibly friendly and super hosts. Information on nearby points of interest available and also books & DVDs. Definitely a place to recommend and go back to for another visit.

We had a wonderful time at Alison’s place and Alison was so lovely and informative, letting us know all the good walks and things to do nearby! We can’t wait to come back to this peaceful gem in the trossachs and loved how close Nether Glenny is to Aberfoyle if we did need anything! Fantastic stay and host, can’t recommend enough! :)
