We had the pleasure of staying at Brooke’s Retreat and it’s exactly that, what a retreat! Such a beautifully designed and presented home with so many homely and thoughtful touches throughout. Coming from Brisbane city, it was the perfect place to unwind for the weekend, where everything was thought of. Ally & Pete are the most generous hosts and so accommodating, providing us with a few little surprises at check in, again very caring hosts with small details to make anyone feel welcome. The home itself is impeccably clean and equiped with all the ammenities you’d need for a day or a week away, and it’s so quiet and comfortable you can really enjoy the peace and take a nice stroll along the beach just a short walk away. We cannot thank Ally and Pete enough for our beautiful stay, it was really the highlight of our trip to enjoy Brooke’s retreat xx

This our second stay at Anthony's family air B&B, and our initial impressions are overwhelmingly positive. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds offer optimal comfort with immaculately clean linen, and the bathrooms are tastefully designed, featuring body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, which serve to enhance the overall sense of luxury. The outdoor area is a peaceful oasis, where one can unwind and bask in the pleasant sounds of birdsong and the water feature. We fully intend to book again in the future.

Great value, amazing to be able to use the resort amenities. Clean space and cooled down nicely after a long day on the beach.

Very helpful & welcoming hosts with fantastic fast responses to all messages. The property was great with expansive views to the water, an enormous grassed area for the kids to burn off energy kicking a ball etc. Having 2 bedrooms at either end of the house was also good for each of our 2 families to have a little personal space. Definitely recommend 👍

We had the most wonderful stay at Rebecca’s. She went above and beyond our expectations and there was nothing she hadn’t thought of. The beds were very comfortable and accommodated our extended family well, there was space for a caravan for our visiting friends, the pool was delightful and the games room was a big hit with our children. We had a visiting kookaburra that everyone was excited about. Rebecca responded to all of my requests prior to arriving so we were able to bring a porta cot for our baby. The added touch of an early check-in and prawns when we arrived was really the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back and will happily recommend Rebecca’s to everyone we know! - Take note of the thoughtful signs, the bities do bite. The adults were barely bitten thanks to the spray available throughout but our children who were too busy playing did get quite a few bites.

Tanya's place was a really wonderful place to stay for our 4 night stay. It was lovely sitting on the deck each afternoon looking out over the marina. Check-in was very flexible, and communication was friendly and quick and easy. I would definitely recommend Tanya's place to other travellers.

Besides the beautiful location and views our unit was comfy, homey and very clean. Lots of little touches were included to make things really easy. We absolutely loved our stay and Sarah was an excellent host and communicator. I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and the obvious care she puts in shone.

Our family and friend group had a wonderful stay at Peter’s house. It was spotlessly clean on arrival with no sand anywhere inside despite being located on the largest sand island in the world. The home is extremely well set out and even though we were a group of 14 people we never felt crowded due to the large living areas. The patio is huge and we loved sitting out in the early evenings watching the sun set over the water. It’s also an easy walk down to the waters edge with your afternoon drinks to enjoy the glorious sunsets. Peter was extremely helpful sending us plenty of messages and a fantastic email with handy tips explaining what to bring to ensure you have a relaxing holiday. Due to the fact the house is located at Kingfisher Resort you can book tours from the resort or you can bring your own 4WD vehicle and explore the island yourself. You also don’t need to worry about the dingos as the resort is fully fenced. I would recommend Peters house and hope to stay again soon.

Absolutely perfect hosts so helpful & accommodating, they couldn't have done anymore for us and if we are ever back in the area, it would be my first choice without hesitation.
