By far the most beautiful AirBnB I've stayed at. It feels like a boutique hotel nestled in the middle of Portland. Quality amenities, beautiful design, inspiring space, peaceful and plenty of room for our group of 6. Would 100% recommend.

We loved our Portland stay at Michaels's cute house. This is on the east side of downtown: a good place with many fine restaurants, bakeries and coffee houses, some good parks, and lots of multi-screen movie houses (within 2 miles!!). The neighborhood was walkable, and the train is nearby for easy trips downtown. A bit farther away is the fabulous Columbia Gorge with an abundance of hikes and views. Bird-watching in this region can be spectacular, BTW. As for the house: comfy, cute. Plenty of chairs, a couch, reading lights.... Lots of kitchen equip't., soft beds (comfortable soft!), a great hot shower, etc. The front porch is lovely on a warm day! The garden is attractive. Probably the backyard is pleasant too, but we visited during the rainy season and spent much time away, being tourists. So I can't say we made use of outdoor tables and chairs but they look inviting for summer days. Street parking is also available. Michael answered any questions super-promptly. We had no problems!

I wanted a little retreat for the one night I was going to be in Portland, and I got it! Lauren's space is lovely and inviting- there are real plants, people! I don't know why that felt so special but it did (and they're gorgeously kept!) The bed was super comfy, every space felt accessible and it was great to be able to wash clothes before I headed up to the airport the next day. Thanks so much!

The place looked great - clean and cozy. Within 1-2 miles of shopping and restaurants and Hwy 26. Will and Che were very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Ed and Kym’s and would happily stay again. It was so nice to have access to 2 pack n plays and a bunch of fun toys for our young family. Ed and Kym were very friendly and accommodating. We loved being able to walk to Laurelhurst Park.

This was a lovely stay, and we would absolutely stay here again when visiting!

Such a lovely peaceful place. The view is amazing. We sat on the deck watching the red-winged blackbirds and hearing them call. It is just 5 minutes from town so perfect to run in and get something. Couldn't be better and we look forward to coming back!

Really appreciate this cozy stay with private river access to the Willamette. It was lovely. The massage chair is not to be underestimated! Would def stay again in warmer season to take advantage of water amenities like paddle boards and canoes. It was a bit cold to do so this time around.

Totally amazing experience, just as we expected and maybe even more! Beautiful inside and out, peaceful and quiet with everything you need for a super comfortable, relaxing getaway. Wish we could have stayed for weeks. :)

Home was beautifully furnished and very cozy. Cindy thought of everything. I forgot my make up wipes, Cindy provided some! We forgot coffee, either Cindy or a previous guest left some! We were in Portland for a few days to meet our new grand baby and the kitchen had everything I needed to prep meals for the new parents. The bonus was the location, only a mile away from our son!

Space was clean and as described in the listing, check-in was easy and the host is responsive and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay !

I loved this location. It was quiet, clean and so cozy. The hosts were super-duper accomodating (even for our last minute additional night, which was great). I would even go as far as to say this might be the only Airbnb I stay at again when visiting Portland. I know I'll be back next year! Thanks so much for the experience.

Beautiful location. It was an amazing and peaceful feeling to wake up and have coffee on the deck overlooking Beacon Hill's vineyards. And, the complimentary bottle of Pinot Noir was a nice touch, not to mention delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this charming cottage on the river! We stayed here the week of Christmas and the hosts kindly left us an array of holiday chocolates and a variety of beverages to get us started on our stay. The house was stocked with all the necessities and the view was so serene! You feel like you're in a secluded hideaway, yet in reality you are only minutes from downtown Milwaukie and a short drive to downtown Portland. It was very conveniently located for us visiting our two sons in Milwaukie, and there was plenty of room for them to visit us and have Christmas dinner at the cottage on the river. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

My family has no complaints, only positive feedback about Bear Creek Retreat! The house is spotless, with fresh towels, and the bedding was clean and crisp! The host did a phenomenal job selecting furnishings that made this place very relaxing and appreciative of nature. We love the selection of artwork on the wall and are grateful that it is age-appropriate for the kids. This is the first Airbnb where our kids (ages 7 & 12) did not pay attention to their electronic devices and were outside the house and proactive! The kids loved the tranquil sounds of the waterfall and river. We especially enjoyed the campfire (already set) at night with the marshmallows, listening to the water flow, stargazing, and spending quality time as a family! On the side note: this place is conveniently located near the Tillamook Air Museum, Tillamook Dairy Factory, and the Werner Meat Snack. We highly recommend Bear Creek Retreat for your stay!

The house was lovely with wonderful views and plenty of trees. The location of the hot tub was perfect for not only the view, but also quickly getting inside before the change of temperature (we stayed in winter). The place is great for two people with plenty of amenities and the TV/Cinema set up was outstanding. What a fun way to wrap up the evenings. Thanks for the great space and very private stay.

Jean's cabin was just breathtaking! It is located on a hill overlooking their private vineyard with mountains and rolling hills as the backdrop. The cabin was so charming and every detail is well thought out. We were in the area due to a death in the family. This cabin and Jean's hospitality soothed our souls. A+experience!

I had a wonderful stay at this cabin over Christmas. The peaceful setting near a picturesque vineyard made for a relaxing holiday. The cabin was cozy, clean, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Lucas was an excellent host—responsive and attentive throughout. The serene atmosphere and thoughtful details made this the perfect retreat. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway!

This was a lovely stay! We had a group of nine and we loved having a well stocked kitchen, big couch, and comfortable beds. The location is a little strange (forest right next to a modern development) but it was quite peaceful and quiet. You're about a 20 min drive from the Japanese Garden and a little bit further from downtown Portland. It was a perfect blend of a quiet getaway with still acces to the city. Would recommend highly for a big group wanting a nice big space to hangout!
