Katrina is a wonderful landlord who prepared plenty of drinks and bread for us, making it feel very homey! It's just a half-hour bus ride from the city center, and there's a supermarket right across the street, making the location very convenient. Thank you, Katrina! If I have the chance to visit Edinburgh again, I would definitely consider staying here!

We had a great stay at Sally’s. She was very welcoming and explained everything on arrival. We were then free to enjoy the accommodation in the knowledge that Sally was close by if needed. We enjoyed our trip to North Berwick would be very happy to come back in the future

This is such a great place to stay, from the airport you can take the bus 100, and get down at Haymarket, from there you can walk or take another bus, Tom's place is really close to the bus stops that take you to the center and the buses go very often. The room was amazing, clean, big and comfortable, as well as the private bathroom. Tom was flexible with our check in and the communication was always great!

You have to stay here if you’re visiting Edinburgh or any of the other places in Scotland. It truly is home away from home! The room and bathroom has every amenity possible, so cozy, very clean and absolutely beautiful. H and Jimmy are the nicest people, just wanting your stay to be comfortable and enjoy Scotland. We ate in Prestonpans then walked along the beach each night with a sunset, one of the highlights of our trip. It’s a few minute drive or 15 walking. We took the train ( so close to the house) to Edinburgh only took 15 minutes. Im so glad we booked here because it’s a great beach town away from the city craziness, I couldn’t wait to get back and go for a walk in this cute town. Huge bonus is visiting with H & Jimmy. Enjoy!

This location was incredibly convenient for public transport, with a bus stop right outside the entrance. There were plenty of local supermarkets nearby and the surroundings were lovely. The host( Catherine) was exceptionally kind and always ready to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped—even an EU-UK adapter was provided. Breakfast was great as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Airbnb to everyone ^_^

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!

Wir haben uns bei Jane und John auf ihrer Farm sehr wohl gefühlt! Jane war super freundlich und sympathisch! Die Farm liegt auf einem idyllischen Hügel mit viel Natur rundherum, nicht weit von Aberfeldy, wo man alles findet, was man braucht. Wir würden auch wieder zu Besuch kommen! :)

I had a great time at Laura's place even if it was only one night. The place is amazing and the warm welcome from Laura were just perfect. I would definitely want to come again to stay longer.

I had a very good stay at Heathpark House. Very interesting place. Chris and Meg are great hosts. Breakfasts were amazing. Will stay there again if I am again in that area.

Our stay at this beautiful Edinburgh Airbnb was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t have been better — tucked in a quiet neighborhood that’s just minutes from the heart of the city, yet also close to gorgeous nature walks. It gave us the best of both worlds. The home itself is stunning, and our room was spacious, stylishly appointed, and incredibly comfortable, complete with a luxurious en-suite bath. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts. They were wonderfully welcoming, full of great conversation and local recommendations, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Each morning, they prepared the most incredible breakfasts — a true highlight of our trip! We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Edinburgh!

We loved Sinan's place, it was in a perfect location and the house really felt home. It was a beautiful home and we had a comfortable stay. I will definitely choose this on my next stay and it's highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying for three nights at Jo and Steven's lovely home on my way to the Isle of Skye. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and care they put into making their guests feel welcome. My room was impeccably clean, wonderfully cozy, and provided a haven of peace and quiet after long days of exploring. Jo and Steven have thoughtfully prepared a dedicated kitchen for guests, which was both convenient and well-equipped. Their beautiful garden was a delightful retreat, perfect for enjoying sun or the fresh evening air. The location itself is serene, safe, and ideally situated for visiting both Edinburgh and St Andrews. Steven kindly recommended some excellent restaurants and must-see attractions in the area, while Jo went above and beyond by providing a lovely selection of breakfast essentials, including fresh milk, bread, cereal, and fruit. Their hospitality was truly heartfelt and made my stay all the more special. Thank you, Jo and Steven.

We had a quick stopover. Everything was great. Les and Alison were very welcoming and the home-cooked breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately Mary was called away to look after a sick relative on the day of our arrival but John Archie was a fantastic and welcoming host to us and our doggy. The house was beautifully clean and the bedding and towels immaculate. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! It was a nice quiet area but with easy access to all the amenities of South Queensferry. John Archie put on a delicious breakfast for us and was such good company that I felt like I’d made a friend by the time we left. A shame we didn’t get to meet Mary but I hope we can come back and will definitely want to visit John Archie and Mary again if we are ever in the area.

Only one night but enjoyed this flat and A’s hospitality in the beautiful Pitlochry. Lovely large comfortable room with beautiful views over the church and surrounds. Easy walk to town. Everything as listed. Thanks A!

We had an amazing time at Fay’s yurt, both her and Jamie were super helpful and very friendly, they made us feel very welcome and explained everything to us on arrival while showing us around as well as giving us some tips of places to visit nearby. They were attentive and there to help us when we needed but also gave us privacy. The yurt itself is unreal, really clean and tidy with everything we needed inside and the log fire was great, made the place so cosy. The walled garden is absolutely beautiful and the 3 friendly goats were a real highlight for us, we went to see them every morning! The kitchen and bathroom areas were well stocked and clean, it was great to have access to them both and made our stay really comfortable. The surrounding areas are also stunning, a truly special place if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay. It’s well situated for visiting the places we wanted to go. We would love to go back, thank you for having us! ❤️

We can’t say enough positive things about Dunnottar Lodge. After a long day on the road, we arrived much later then we thought- Karen was flexible and kind in helping us find the place in the dark and welcomed us with great warmth. As soon as we arrived we were sad that we hadn’t booked a longer stay here. This place is a true oasis. The room we stayed in was out of a Scottish holiday dream- so well decorated, colorful, and extremely cozy. Everything at Dunnottar lodge has the air of abundance. The pillows are extra fluffy, the bed super comfy, the bathroom is well stocked with products, the tea selection is amazing (upwards of 20 teas to choose from), and the breakfast Karen served is overflowing with delicious offerings (things like home made bread, huge selection of preserves, eggs cooked just right). Another big advantage to this place is you have access to a super cozy sitting room with a fire, their beautiful garden, and the kitchen. It’s truly a dream! We will be going back!

Another wonderful stay at South Kinaldy House with Sheila and Thomas! Sheila consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests, making us feeling more like friends vs. guests. Dropping off a daughter at uni while traveling from afar can be quite tough - but staying in Sheila & Thomas’ lovely home makes things so much easier. Her friendly demeanor, beautiful home and gardens, and willingness to help us in many different ways truly sets this stay apart. Thank you Sheila & Thomas for making our stay in St. Andrews delightful yet again!

We had a amazing stay with Annabel and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. She was really nice and friendly and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend her place!

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.

Lovely room in a gorgeous, leafy neighbourhood. Jessica was kind, and I even got to try some fantastic home baking! The room is superbly equipped with everything you could ever need, including toiletries and a great tea selection!

Laura and Castlecroft B&B were a welcomed rest after a long travel day. Laura greeted us and gave us a quick tour and let us get settled in after arriving later than expected. She pointed us to a wonderful dinner spot and the next morning we had the best breakfast! We also came with our toddler and Laura made her feel right at home. Highly recommend Laura and the Castlecroft for a stay!
