We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood right by a peaceful waterway—such a lovely spot to wake up to. Getting into the city was super easy; we hopped on public transit and were at the Royal Mile and the castle in no time. It was great to have that balance of being close to all the sights but still able to come back to a calm, cozy space at the end of the day. Communication with the host was great too—quick and helpful, which made everything really smooth. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the best and most original Airbnb's we have stayed in. Very well-equipped with beautiful furnishings and features in a historic building. Lovely views on to the Water of Leith. The location is superb, situated in the best area of the Shore, with many bars and restaurants and lovely walks along the Water. Great public transport links to Edinburgh, including tram. Another bonus was the private parking, and accessibility. The early check in was a bonus meaning we could enjoy a full afternoon in the area. If I were to specify our ideal place to stay on a visit to Edinburgh, Leith - this would be it . Finally, thank you, Robert, for the great welcome packs, milk, fruit and treats etc. We can't wait to come back for another short stay.

We were lucky enough to stay at this gem of a place, with gorgeous sea views. The flat is very spacious with a good amount of comfortable furniture. The mattresses are very comfy with plenty of storage space. Bathroom was light and airy with a great, powerful overhead shower in the bath. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all the essentials you could need. Full size fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer, if needed. Plenty of parking just outside. So easy to walk into the lovely town. The beach is a stones throw away. It met our needs perfectly. Lucy is a great host and we would highly recommend staying in the flat.

We had such a great time during our stay - Helen was so lovely and accommodating. everything was as described, and the location is brilliant. I would definitely recommend and we will be looking to return in the future.

Wir haben die Einrichtung, die Lage und den Ausblick der Wohnung von Chris und Erin sehr genossen. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt Auch durften wir unsere Koffer noch ein paar Stunden in der Wohnung lassen, da an dem Tag keine Nachmieter kamen. Wir fanden nur, dass für insgesamt 6 Erwachsene die Schlafverhältnisse etwas beengt waren und es gab wenig Ablagefläche in den Zimmern. (Eine Garderobe im Flur wäre schön). Die Kommunikation war anfangs schleppend und die Check in Informationen bekommt man recht zeitnah vor der Check in Zeit. Wen das nicht stört, der wohnt in einer schönen, besonderen Wohnung mit fantastischer Lage 😘

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

The house has everything you could ever need for you’re stay plenty of space for everyone and the terrace and garden were amazing to sit out in the sun and the fully enclosed garden gives you peace of mind when taking dogs and kids. Would definitely recommend!!

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

We had a perfect Spring break in Aberfeldy at Vickys. The home was squeaky clean, cosy and well equipped in a central location in Aberfeldy. Everything we needed was within walking distance and there are surprisingly good places to wine and dine. The weather was also perfect and local scenery is majestic. Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed a lovely stay while attending a wedding nearby. The house was perfect, so welcoming, homely and very clean. Kim was a responsive host from the off, advising on taxi numbers and great local recommendations for eating out and buying those last minute bits and bobs that you’ve likely forgot! This property was such a find, and we enjoyed watching the changing weather over the loch. Highly recommended.

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

Such an amazing place. Beds super comfortable which is so important and often not the case with holiday rentals. Mimi was gorgeous and so welcoming. You must stay here. We will return.

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. Lou and Claire’s apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay in Edinburgh - an excellent location for transport and restaurants. It’s in a pretty area out of the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions which suited us perfectly - felt like we had a real taste of what it’s like to be a local. Parts of the apartment are small such as the bathroom and kitchen but completely equipped with anything one may need…also provided great inspiration on how to make good use of a small space! We recommend staying at Lou and Claire’s apartment!

Lovely well kept cottage in a lovely little town. The decor is subtle and charming. The house is equipped with everything, lovely hot shower, good central heating and plenty of sunlight. The bedding is great quality cotton.The whole house is very clean.

we had a great stay in this apartment. it was perfect for the harbour, the beach and all local amenities. the flat itself is lovely, with everything you need for a short stay. my 3 year old was delighted with the toy chest! the beds were super comfy. we had a great time!

We enjoyed staying at Brian's for a few nights while in Edinburgh. The place was very clean, neat, with lovely bathroom, kitchen organised with everything you need, big living rooms, and dining space. It was very easy to park and the instructions we received were very clear, the place easy to find and the bus station that took us to the centre just 2 minutes away. Brian was communicative, friendly and our stay was so nice that we think we'll return there again when you we back to Edinburgh. Thank you very much. A real pleasure!! 5 stars!!

Jon and Lindsey’s lovely flat was the perfect base for us to explore Culross from. It was very clean and cosy, with wonderful views from the kitchen/living room. Everything we could have needed was provided for us. Jon was extremely helpful and understanding when we had to cancel our original booking due to a storm. Communication throughout our stay was great, we would definitely return.

Victoria is an excellent host — very communicative and extremely helpful. The apartment is great, in a nice location, and easy to find. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay
