Sue was a lovely host, beautiful garden and caring to myself and two year old who stayed. Great big home and gardens for running around in with carpark available off the road. We stayed due to an early hospital visit the day after so didn’t make the most of the hosts breakfast! Also, if your taking kiddies bring a nightlight for the room but there is a hallway light that stays on which was super helpful!

Such a peaceful haven; would have loved to stay for longer. The bed was so comfy, and the shower was spacious with lots of hot water. Jean had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, with many thoughtful touches like a lovely little toast/jam breakfast or having the heater on when I arrived. I also enjoyed sitting on the back porch with my cuppa and a wool blanket, just soaking in the lush setting. Jean was friendly and welcoming, and I highly recommend a stay in her guestroom!

Our second time staying at Paula’s. We stayed longer this time and were able to really enjoy and appreciate everything it has to offer. It is such a bright and cheerful cottage with a large sunny deck which we utilised for morning coffee in the sun and bbq’s in the evening. We had family visit and grandchildren were able to explore the surroundings. They all felt they were on holiday even though they lived five minutes away. All this was enhanced by bird song and lavender. I would highly recommend.

Michele is a great host and her apartment was perfect. Very comfortable, cosy and clean and included all you could need. The bed was huge and comfortable, the lounge included huge TV and great WiFi and the kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom very modern, clean and the shower hot and powerful. It is perfectly positioned for the golf course which is literally across the road, the beautiful beach of St Clair is a mere 5 min drive and the centre of Dunedin a straightforward 10 min drive. Michele was extremely accommodating and treated us to a fabulous breakfast each day, which we weren’t expecting. Would highly recommend staying here.

Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect apartment in a historic building converted with real contemporary flair. The unit is equipped with everything you need and more for a stay in central Dunedin. Parking opposite was easy, and the city centre is within easy walking distance. We were here to visit the Otago Peninsula and albatross colony but enjoyed our days in the city. New Zealand towns can be bleak places but Dunedin had enough life and places to visit despite the appalling town planning and architecture of the late 20th Century. The two museums, The Tuhara Otago and Toitu Otago Settlers were really good. If in Dunedin again I will definitely stay here. Thanks for a great stay.

Great apartment! Not too far to walk to The Octagon. Great cafes in the warehouse district - short walk from accom. Has everything you need. Very lovely place to stay- would stay again.

A perfect place to stay on the peninsula. 15 mins drive to central Dunedin and 5 mins to Port Chalmers. Just a short walk down to Sawyers Bay. Beautiful views. The wee unit was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated having tea and coffee and milk provided. Thanks Trixie!

I cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous space in Dunedin! Not only would I gladly stay here again, but I also wish I lived in that apartment full-time. Antonia and Steve have done amazing work renovating the historic building into a comfortable and stylish space, and Antonia has decked the apartment out with everything one could possibly need and plenty of fun "extras." We were so comfortable that I almost didn't want to leave the apartment! Antonia's instructions were clear and she even offered to let us store our luggage before and after checkout, allowing us to further explore the City and accommodating our bus and flight schedules. Highly recommend.

Great place to work from for the week I was in Dunedin, close to city centre and amenities. Had everything I needed and then some. Plenty of on street parking and easy instructions to get into the house. I recommend staying here, Christine was responsive and gave great instructions.

Beautiful loft style apartment in a great city centre location directly facing a nice park. A beautifully repurposed and modernised historic building. Equipped to a very high standard and immaculately clean. Would very happily stay there again.

This is a truly magnificent Unit, immaculate and rather spacious, Perfect Location to Museums, the Octagon, Restaurants and Pubs! We loved this Place and will be back as Dunedin offers so much and 3 nights is not enough time. The bathroom is large, has a very good Washer and Dryer unit. The kitchen has all amenities one can think of. On arrival there was Bread, Jam, Butter and Milk in the Fridge, very helpful for the 1st Morning particularly if one arrives later in a day. Parking was also convenient and the elevator in the Building is very helpful for people with more luggage like us. Communication with Antonia & team very efficient. They had prepared an excellent manual in the unit with really useful recommendations. We followed several of them and they were spot on. Considering this Central Location in town it is exceptionally quiet. The Coffee Place downstairs is the best we came across on the South Island. They serve very good Coffee, in combination with very delicious Pastries!

Christine’s place was excellent for us, convenient for getting to our locations. No parking at the location, but easy enough to park on the street. Christine was very nice, we didn’t need anything from her but it would have been easy if we had.

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

Staying with John and his partner was a God send! No other places were available and John went over and above to make room for us to stay so we didn't need to stay in a shared dorm room at a backpackers. His place was clean, comfortable, and cute. We had our own rooms and bathroom. John even made a delicious plum cake with plums from his garden that he shared with us. He also had amazing food recommendations! We really enjoyed and hugely appreciated our stay.

Margatet’s castle is a piece of art in beautiful Aramoana!!! Makes you feel like in a fairy tail. Margaret was very nice, sharing lots of information on Aramoana and the beautiful beaches around. Thanks to her instructions I was able to find the local Yellow Eyed Penguin, quite a sight. I highly recommend this place.

I recommend staying here, Deborah and Alistair are super hosts! Welcoming and considerate to guests. I appreciated their quick acceptance of our last-minute request, made when our planned accommodations unexpectedly fell through. This has been our favourite home to stay in. There's a beautiful view of the water from their living room and deck. Deborah and Alistair are interesting and fun conversationalists. Their home is open, airy, clean, and comfortable to be in. Comfortable bed. We were welcome to come and go as we wanted, and to make use of the shared living room, dining room, and kitchen. Everything was in great shape. Thank You Both for hosting us.

We loved staying with Lynette and Barry. Their place was lovely and cosy beyond this world, and we felt instantly welcome and at home. Our room was amazing with a great bed and everything we could ask for, including a TV with Netflix on it. We also loved the breakfast and the free tea and coffee, and how sparkling clean everything was. Location was great for us as we liked the peace and quiet. But by far the best thing about our stay were the hosts - Lynette and Barry were beyond sweet and always made sure we were comfortable. It felt almost hard to leave this place haha because we loved it so much. Thank you very much for your hospitality Lynette and Barry! Looking forward to staying at your place again someday in the future.
