One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

A comfortable, clean, homey apartment with plenty of room for my husband and I to spend 4 wonderful days. Stunning ocean views. Well stocked kitchen for meal prep, also good restaurants and cafes nearby. Gracious and responsive hosts made us feel right at home. Would stay again and certainly recommend to others.

Very homely environment with excellent quality furnishings. The bathroom was luxurious, bed comfy with quality bed linen. Escape the city and get back to nature. We loved our short stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at JPs. The location was great and we walked everywhere. JP was very thoughtful having fresh bread for us as well as offering local tips.

Gorgeous place! very clean with a view at the beach from everywhere. little details in every corner just beautiful interior design. Paul is such a nice host we had a really great time with him and literally felt like home.

Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Es ist eine tolle Gegend. Für die einzelnen Naturführungen, insbesondere den Pinguinen am Pilots Beach sollte man mindestens eine Woche vorher buchen. Wir können die Combo Albatros / Monarch Bootstour nur empfehlen. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnte viele Tiere ( Albatros, Seelöwen, Seevögel) sehen.

A delightfully renovated upmarket villa, perched perfectly on the lush slopes of a calm bay on the peaceful side of the Peninsula. This is a perfect rest up place. The rooms are sumptuous, modern and well lit with natural and aspirational luxury tones. Oversized bed and quality linen provide for an idyllic gaze down the harbour to stunning sunsets. What the hosts provide here is personalised and charming, in Dunedin's most aspirational harbour community.

This house had everything we needed. It is modern comfortable and clean. It has a lovely kitchen with a breakfast bar which was nice to sit at. The bathroom is modern and there is constant hot water. We stayed on a cooler weekend and the central heating was great! The only downside would be the walk up to the house which may be difficult for for an elderly or disable person. The garden is currently unusable though I imagine that when it is done it will be lovely like the inside of the house. I would definitely stay again if I was visiting Dunedin.

Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

This was my second time staying at Paul’s place, and it was just as magic as the first time. I actually made an error and booked for the wrong week, but Paul was really helpful and accommodating. The balcony with the bay view was magnificent. Highly recommend! Thanks team!

We had a great stay at Blackberry beach house. It was very homely and in a lovely location - peaceful, private and next to the beach. It was a 5 minute drive to the Albatross centre where we saw 4 or 5 wheeling around above our heads! We did struggle a bit to locate the house as there's some large bushes/trees just before the entrance and the wooden gates are set back from the road. However, it's right opposite a bus stop sign and just before a right turn to OPERA.
