What a beautiful location, 1 mile to the nearest road, right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, with a woodland and coastal path right outside. Slight issue with the Aga on arrival, but Fiona came out with backup kettle and stove, and the offer of a night in separate accommodation. And the Aga was fixed the next day and by the evening we were enjoying a roast dinner in a lovely warm cottage. The views from every window are just amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, especially by our 2 year old Springer, Max. We hope to be back in the future.

We had a fabulous stay here would highly recommend and would 100% come back. The house is spacious clean and quiet we had a great week here. Lots to do in the surrounding areas too to keep everyone happy.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

We loved our stay at Lyn and Bobby's cottage. Whilst being spacious, it was cosy and comfortable with everything that we could have needed... and more, as there was a wonderful welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. A lovely surprise! The property was very easy to find - just one road back from the main street in Kirkcudbright - and yet it was in a very quiet road. The cottage's location ensures that it's easy to walk to the centre of Kirkcudbright and to enjoy all it has to offer. There are restaurants, take aways and a 'Tesco's' supermarket within walking distance as well. We parked on the road just outside the property, which was made unloading and loading easy. Lyn was a very proactive host, contacting us before and during our stay to ensure that everything was clear and that we were happy. We have only positive recommendations to offer and look forward to our next stay!

What a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful views from every window and so quiet and peaceful. Nice to have fenced in secure garden for dogs, lots of parking space and bike storage. Bedrooms comfortable, immaculately clean and provided with bath sheets and hand towels. Great showers and plenty of facilities. Kitchen with AGA and lovely big table for family meals, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Appreciated having two TV rooms for different generations and good Wifi for the workers. All in all a delightful place to stay, peaceful, yet near to local shop and main road and easy to get to everywhere. We hope to return...

Such a lovely big lodge. Everything you need which is great. Very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. Quite a few games of pool played as well. Would highly recommend. I also think this lodge would be great for my uncle who has recently had a stroke and uses a frame to get about as it’s very spacious and access is good for someone who would struggle with walking.

We had a fantastic stay at Millburn Street, the house had everything you needed and more. It was thoroughly clean and well presented. Great location and Eric was really helpful throughout. Couldn’t recommend Millburn street enough. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Rachael’s home was one of the most relaxing stays in an Air BnB we’ve had, the location is perfect for exploring the Ards Peninsula. Rachael is a lovely and relaxed host, her home is beautiful and comfortable, she was not at all fazed by our boisterous dogs which put us straight at ease. The gardens around the cottage are lovely and perfectly designed for our 9 year old to explore and enjoy an Easter Egg hunt. Overall a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay. My husband a i really loved the hot tub underneath the stars. It was so relaxing to use each night after our 9 month went to sleep. I also really liked the large tub in the bathroom that made for relaxing soaks each day, especially while hearing faint sounds of seagulls and wind blowing through the trees outside. Our 9 month old loved the living room and climbing around our bed in the bedroom. Alex even had a crib for us! Our continental breakfast was also a really nice touch. And, Alex put up happy birthday banner and balloons before we arrived since it was my birthday weekend. It was a lovely surprise! Highly recommend staying here if you get a chance.

Great place to stay, handy for everywhere, it’s like a Tardis. Clean bright and the feeling of space, even though it is a 2 bedroom house in a garage. There is 1 minor criticism and that is all the patio windows could do with blinds, apart from that perfect.

The house is absolutely stunning and Drew was very helpful and responded literally immediately. Well equipped and he has went above and beyond with all the little extras.

Beautiful house in gorgeous countryside. The photos don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather but spending more time in the house wouldn’t have been a problem! Very light and spacious with nice attention to detail.

The cottage was easy to find and had good access. It was warm when we arrived which made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious, well laid out and had plenty of storage. The living room had plenty of comfy seating. It was very clean and had attractive decor throughout. The bedding was fabulous! It was fully equipped with everything you need. There was easy access to Dumfries and had lovely views all round. Milk was found in the fridge on arrival along with tea, coffee and sugar and the obligatory Scottish shortbread, which was yummy! Had a great stay - highly recommend!

Our stay at Marcus’s home was perfect for our family. ( including a 1year old) We had everything we needed and more. Great location with easy walking distance of Ayr town and eateries . Also an easy walk to the sea front. What a bonus! Marcus was always responsive to any questions we had and flexible with our arrival times etc. would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ayrshire. Thank you

Have recommended this house and location to family and friends. The house is gorgeous, with all the amenities you could need and has an amazing view of the sea. Great location too with it being so close to pubs / cliff walks etc and 15 mins drive away from a huge beach (which the dogs absolutely loved). It was our first time to the area and we can’t wait to return!
