Great place to stay and at a very affordable price. Location is a bit far from the city but other than that it was wondrful experience.

Jan and Tim were so wonderful. it felt like home away from home. always so helpful, responsive and super friendly. Always offering and asking what to eat and giving many options in breakfast.Easy check in and check out. They had amazing house, loved the room where i stayed for 3-4 days. so comfortable and cozy. If i will come back to chicago again, i will stay with them for sure. 200% RECOMMENDED 👍💙

This country house is well located, quiet, off the beaten path, but easy to reach. The rooms are super clean and well appointed. The Hosts are very social and take great care and interest in their guests. They are great communicators, and appreciate all feedback. Best advice to potential guests....must like dogs and good conversation,( and movies). And coordinate plans closely with hosts to take advantage of their local tips and advice. and Respect for house rules will make for a smooth stay for everyone. Travelers can not go wrong choosing to stay with Laura and Mike, they were/are the best.

We had the best experience we could have in a shared house, living for 2 months at Annie's house. She is an amazing person who likes to take care of her guests, always having some fresh food in the fridge and also many delicious surprises that she makes herself during the stay. We enjoyed the company and daily greetings of the dog Ginger and the good energy from Annie with her green juice, which made us much healthier. It is a house where we can feel very comfortable and welcomed, as if it were a familiar place, besides being a beautiful, cozy house located in an extremely privileged place with lots of green areas, animals, and silence. Thank you very much, Annie! Staying there during this time was a gift!

I had a wonderful stay with Annie. She is a gracious host and very attentive to her guests while providing privacy at the same time. The location is in a beautiful setting and the room accommodations are complete with nice personal touches. I recommend Annie’s place to anyone seeking a private, friendly, comfortable place to stay.

Niki was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable of the area and welcoming. She communicated with us often and was responsive when we had questions. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable visiting for the few days we were in Chicago, and we would love to come stay again. The location is ideal for walking to local neighborhoods, as well as offering quiet residential feel to allow for a nice night sleep.

My husband and I absolutely loved Jordan and Jeremy’s home. The decor was one of a kind and we both felt right at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Mouna's home is a true haven tucked in Roscoe Village. The place was organized, quiet, peaceful and cozy. My children and I love the area and it is so close to Target, the park, and half a block from the bus. The neighbors are very sweet and we had zero issues with anything. Highly recommend.

The apartment is in a great location. There are many amazing walkable bars and restaurants. Then mostly a 15 minute Uber ride to areas like the bean, The Aquarium and so forth.

Erin’s place was amazing! So convenient and walkable. We were actually greeted by Caroline who was welcoming and so kind to us.There were snacks and drinks and wonderful banana bread! The apartment was spotless and very quiet at night. Thanks for the wonderful stay! We will be back!

This is the 2nd time I stayed at Jodi's upstairs apartment. Just like before, it was fantastic. Kitchen was well-stocked, plenty of linens for the bathroom and small appliances in the kitchen. Living space was great with couch and additional bed. Bedroom was comfortable, with a ceiling fan. There are windows in all four sides of the house, so plenty to look at while staying. Wi-Fi was strong and fast, which is great if you work remote like me. I give Jodi and Mike and their apartment 5 Stars. I have spoken with Jodi a number of times. She is a very nice person and easy to talk to.

This is the best and most affordable place in Chicago. You won’t get a better deal in Airbnb. Sharing the bathroom is not a big deal when everything is clean and works properly.

It was a wonderful stay with a very hospitable host. We loved the access to the beautiful kitchen with instant hot water for tea. The homemade baked goods were a delicious treat in the morning. The room was immaculate. The back rooms face the tracks for the busy Chicago Transit Blue Line, so if noise bothers you, ask for a room facing the street.

Mary's place was a great location for our short trip to Chicago! It was a short Uber drive from the airport, and a short drive to the All-State Arena. We did arrive late at night due to flight delays and opted for an Uber versus the train. I am glad we did cause it seems like the train station is under construction for the side we needed and would have been a bit more of a walk departing from the other side, but definitely not a dealbreaker or anything. The house is a short walk from this breakfast place that we actually went to twice during our short stay, with other options nearby. Overall, the house felt cozy and clean, but we did struggle with getting in the bathroom first thing in the morning with the other guests in the house during our stay. Mary was very responsive and a great host to us during our stay. The bed was comfortable as well and the room had amble space for a large suitcase, a carry-on, and two large bags with space to spare for two people.

Patricia’s place was perfect and it was so welcoming and comfortable. The conversation and home cooked breakfast was lovely. We would recommend this place to anyone in the area. What a gem!

Nice chill spot

Nazneen and Mehtab went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional! I was a long-term guest while finishing my travel nursing contract, and this home was the perfect location for my commute to the hospital. The house itself is like an art museum. It’s full of color, charm, and rich with history. During my stay, I had the pleasure of creating several unique items with Nazneen’s Pursenality Specialty Handbags, which added a special, creative touch to my experience. Another thing I loved was the sound of the train in the distance. It was very cozy and helped me sleep better at night. This stay made my final weeks in Elgin truly enjoyable, and I would gladly return in the future! Thank you for treating me so kindly and opening your beautiful home. Even when I was sick towards the end, I felt so taken cared of with the hot teas you both made for me. Also, your cooking and food is so delicious. I left inspired to cook more after the meals we shared. Thank you so very much:)

My home away from home. Thank you Ed and Ellen for practicing old fashioned hospitality. I’m on a healing diet and could not have sustained it for a month if travel without their kind, generous kitchen being made available - along with a guest fridge!
