The place is as advertised. While it could be cleaner, it's not too bad. The furniture is in good condition, which adds to the comfort. The smart TVs are a nice addition, but unfortunately, none of the apps (DSTV, Netflix, Showmax) were working. Access and entry procedures are simple and straightforward. The host’s communication was excellent—responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Checkout can be a bit challenging for a family with kids, but it's understandable. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely go back.

Beautiful home, the pictures don't do it justice. All the rooms are beautiful and spotless. The estate has great activities, including walking and bike trails. Ana was also very engaging, proactive and communicated well. The helper kept the house clean at all times and was friendly. The dogs also added to the fun. A few glitches like the freezer not working after arrival but Ana made a plan. We could have done with more cupboard space as we were a big family with lots of groceries and had to keep them on the counters Overall magnificent holiday... a proper fun house. Highly recommended.

The place was great, even better than the pictures. All the amenities listed were available and so much more. It’s a dream for young kids, because of the large pool and yard space to run around. The communication was great, all our questions were answered very quickly. The place was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. We just returned from the most incredible stay at this stunning Airbnb, and I'm already dreaming of our next visit! The moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by the breathtaking sea view that greeted us from the living room window. It was truly mesmerizing! The apartment itself was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the real pièce de résistance was the location – just a short stroll from the beach, where we spent hours soaking up the sun, swimming, and watching the sunset. Our host was friendly, responsive, and provided us with all the necessary information to make our stay seamless. We couldn't have asked for more! If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with a view that will leave you speechless, look no further! We can't wait to return to this little slice of heaven. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful unit, decorated well and has all the appliances you need including an Air fryer. The unit is also very clean and has great WiFi. The location is perfect, it’s just opposite Thompson’s Bay. The complex is well maintained, secure and very quiet. Nick is super friendly and very helpful. I’d definitely suggest booking this unit.

I really enjoyed my stay. Oscar is a perfect host. He even invented me to braai he had with his friend and his son. We had greaf conversation over meal. The place is neat, clean and private.

All the amenities in the unit were up to standard, ensuring I had everything I needed for a productive stay. I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kloof for work or leisure.

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Staying at Duncan's place for our festive holiday enabled us to make great memories, enjoy the fabulous layout and convenient amenities. The pool was perfect for cooling down in the hot weather and then relaxing in the tranquil garden. We appreciated the security and safety features too. The home is on a quiet street, with great views of the sea in the distance and a bit of the cityscape. Duncan and Kate are great communicators, always available to respond to messages to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We'd love to stay again in future.

Our family only stayed for a weekend, but we felt so rested it was like a holiday. Jan was so helpful and friendly, providing many personal touches and spoils. We enjoyed nature and the outside spaces. Loved the open plan and openness with rhe stacker doors. We will definitely return.

The house was the most beautiful place you have ever rented. The house and furnishings were of an extremely high standard, luxurious, comfortable and every need was catered for. Beautiful entertaining area outside with swimming pool and bar. Staying in this home, was the same as staying in a luxury 5 stay hotel except it was homely, beautifully furnished and extremely spacious. l If you ever have the opportunity of staying in this beautiful home, you will not be disappointed as it exceeded all expectations.
