Fantastic stay. Jane is a lovely host who made sure our stay was special. I cannot recommend enough, the pod was amazing, everything you could possible need is there, very clean, the surroundings are so peaceful. Absolutely perfect for a getaway. Will definitely be back thank you so much 😊

We had a lovely stay here last night, me and my partner spent the night here for my birthday. Hosts very friendly and helpful with information provided. We made use of the hot tub and fire pit facilities. I did encounter an accident whilst present no fault of the host or property, all my fault. But wanted to mention how understanding and supporting both hosts were. Will definitely stay again and will be recommending to family and friends.

We booked very last minute for one night but I’m so glad we did!! I wish we had booked a couple nights but it was absolutely gorgeous none-the-less. Perfect location, really private and peaceful. Very romantic for a couple. Really well thought about and we absolutely loved having the privacy mirror windows, as we kept the curtains open at night so we could wake up to the view. It was stunning. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning for a getaway

We stayed in the Sung for a 2 night girls weekend away.. for a special birthday. Before we arrived, Sara was easy to contact, and allowed us to check in early to extend our celebrations. As we arrived, our Asda delivery was awaiting our arrival, which makes things much easier. The Sung was immaculate. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds are incredibly comfy!! And the couch!! Sara pays so much attention to detail, and even made us a hamper to enjoy. There was Prosecco in the fridge, birthday cakes, and more - thank you!! We spent most of our time in the tub (which is maintained every day, and amazing at night when the stars are shining), and having one too many Proseccos, but there’s lots of walking to do. We ventured out to one of the local pubs which was delicious too. We forgot a bag when we left, and Sara called us and help arrange for us to come back and collect. We’ll definitely be back!! Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

Great stay at swan lodge, comfortable, homely and the hot tub was exactly what was needed on the cold December days. The walks around the site were brilliant and helped us create some great adventures with the kids. We would definitely recommend it and will look to visit again.

Stayed here for a birthday night away. Wished we stayed longer instantly. So nice & beautiful view of the sunset & stars at night. Super cozy and just lovely area - coming from the Lake District too! This was lush.

Sarah was responsive and welcoming and the cabin was lovely - well fitted, cosy, and the log burning stove inside and log burning hot tub outside were great. Lovely walk around the grounds to a pond and keep your curtains open at the foot of the bed for a gorgeous sunrise. Went for our son's first birthday and had a blast. Would go again!

Harry is a very responsive and friendly host, anytime I asked a question he would respond within 10 mins, very quite and peaceful area for my reactive French bulldog. Completely private, easy drive in access, the place was very clean and tidy, comfortable and cozy. 100% coming back to this place. They even give you a free field session for your pup to run about off lead for free! Thanks again Harry

Incredible place. Took my two young kids and Alan was good enough to show them the telescope even past theit bedtime. He 100% made my 6 year old full of excitement and wonder and a convert to astronomy. The location is pecaeful, full of wildlife and birdsong and just an incredible find. Its out of the way, but: 1. It has to be because of light pollution and 2. If my old campervan made it there, you can too. Any single parents of young kids just be aware bathroom and kitchen are outside accommodatiom and also downstairs, so be prepared to sneak out if you need a posg bedtime wee! Recommended unreservedly.

From booking till we got there nothing was a chore to Lynn. Details to the caravan were spot on and access to the keys was easy. The caravan was spacious and despite the gales we had at the weekend was warm. Everything we needed was found in the caravan and the milk for a cuppa on arrival was appreciated, especially considering late arrival. We will definitely be looking to stay again when we are up visiting friends and family again.

We visited with our grandchildren and small dog for a quiet weekend by the sea. The caravan is spacious, cosy and warm (despite it being stormy outside). The park itself is immaculate and the town and its amenities are within walking distance. The beach also is on the doorstep. Tom and Dawn have thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay, even provided a much appreciated welcome pack. Book it! You won’t be disappointed.

Rob, I can’t thank you more mate the best experience I’ve had in a lifetime such a amazing place to stay, such a hidden gem the price needs to be doubled then doubled again for the value of this beauty. The customer service alone honestly rob could not be a nicer more welcoming host. Thanks so much rob, me and the lads hope to be seeing you again very shortly. :)

We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!

Great place to stay, exactly like the photos. Quiet location with bar/restaurant on site, wild rabbits running aroud the lodges was lovely to watch. Comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely recommend.

We had the best weekend staying here - the place was lovely, had absolutely everything you need, with Christmas decorations giving it a lovely touch! Karen was very helpful and communicative making the experience even better and easier Perfect location for a cosy quiet weekend away - will be back x

I booked this place last minute based off of the lovely pictures, it was even more gorgeous in person. Absolutely pristine and spotless, the caravan felt brand new as did all of the soft furnishings. The bedding was clean and smelt lovely and everything was easy to use. The small details were also really appreciated, the decor was spring themed and there was spares of everything we could have needed, down to brand new tooth brushes! We used the travel cot which was brand new and even had a mattress in it that I was really grateful for as they’re usually very uncomfortable. The host was lovely when I communicated with her and very helpful, and we will absolutely be returning.

Idyllic and scenic location was a fantastic 20 minute walk into the local village for a lovely pub lunch quiet surroundings had an issue with the gate and owner was extremely responsive. came the next day to make amends would return again..

Great place for a rest and relaxation. Horses and goats outside, kids loved it. Very cosy place for family evenings! Highly recommend it!
