5+ stars. The description is accurate, but we weren’t sure about a guesthouse. Our first time to do that — be behind the street fronting house. Turns out, it is perfect. Super private and then right in the middle of the beach and all the great restaurants and shops. It has its own yard and a fabulous patio. A new Weber grill and comfortable seating outside. We cooked in two nights. Kitchen has everything you could need. The living space is very comfortable. We were greeted with orange infused ice water and chocolates on the table as you walk in the door. The hosts are very helpful and clearly very hands on. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay for a beach vacation. It is a quick 3 minute walk and you are at the beach. There are also restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We were there during the off season and it was not crowded or noisy. There are also nice places to bike and hike that are not too far away. We also did a day trip to St Augustine and Amelia Island in less than an hour. Can't beat the location!

Ian provided an excellent experience at his Airbnb. The home is beautiful, clean, and it excuded a lovely coastal vibe. Everything one might need for the perfect Florida get-away was easily found within the home including cooking essentials, beach gear, health and beauty aids, and a plentiful amount of towels. We rested well on the comfortable beds. The home is located near wonderful beaches and a plentiful amount of great restaurants. Very good grocery stores are also within a close proximity including Publix and Native Sun. Ian was a great host, providing concise, understandable directions for entry and how various appliances worked within the home. Check-out was easy, too. My husband and I felt extremely comfortable throughout our stay and all systems within the home worked excellently (including the all-important air conditioning). I highly recommend Ian as a host because he provided excellent hospitality and a clean, charming home.

This house was perfect for our quick getaway. Two blocks from the beach with plenty of beach towels, chairs, sand toys, etc. for all to enjoy. Very responsive to any questions we had and very accommodating. The house felt like the perfect home away from home. Would definitely book again!

We were in town for a soccer tournament and we adored this little place! Can’t say enough about this adorable little bungalow! Absolutely everything you would need and more! The, beds are heavenly, the couch is also so comfortable. We loved listening to Fleetwood Mac on vinyl in between soccer games . The shower was like a spa and we love the fluffy towels. Alissa has truly thought of everything! Don’t hesitate to book!

Anna was impeccable with quick responses from start to finish. We stayed at the Retro Bungalow for five weeks. The home is extremely comfortable. It also let us enjoy many great parts of Jacksonville. Lots of good restaurants walkable to Avondale and an easy drive to Riverview, San Marco, Mandarin, the Town Center and the beaches. We went on the water taxi for a sunset cruise for $25 per person on a beautiful evening. The Cummer Musuem is nearby and usually has fantastic exhibitions and their gardens are a highlight. Tuesday there is free live music. But mostly we used the backyard. It was our main place day and night! We enjoy park and the people walking by. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Howard’s bungalow. The backyard setting was wonderful and the house was absolutely adorable! We frequently visit Jacksonville and definitely would love to stay here again soon.
