An amazing getaway from the city! The house is amazing, we were so impressed by the quality and neatness of everything. It’s all even nicer in person! They provided linen and towels, all very clean too. The host is so nice, replies quickly, willing to help. We wanna go back in the Summer because we fell in love.

Our stay at Vanessa’s place was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. Waking up to snowfall in the middle of nature was magical and so peaceful. Vanessa was an amazing host, she provided everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed playing the puzzle games, snowshoeing, and relaxing in the hot tub, which made our trip even more special. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Vanessa, for your hospitality, we hope to return someday!

We had an amazing time at this place! The property was beautiful, the location has clear sky and the star gazing from this location was amazing! Me and my friends were looking for a getaway and just wanted to enjoy the night after a long travel. This turned out to be the perfect place. The hosts were really flexible and understanding. I would for sure definitely recommend anyone this cottage to anyone. Thanks a lot!

Betsy & Bob’s place is absolutely stunning!! The gorgeous photos in their Airbnb ad encouraged us to book this home…and seeing it in person FAR exceeded our expectations. Bob is very detailed and was quick to respond to all of our questions. Lots of privacy at this place. Fantastic kitchen and great room — perfect for a larger group/family. Would highly recommend! Please note — if visiting in the winter, you will absolutely need an suv and snow tires!

We had a wonderful stay at Kellie’s place. We brought our kids for a little get away during the family day long weekend. We went skiing at Hidden Valley. We walked to the ski hill every day, only took about 5min. Kellie’s house is so beautiful with everything we needed. We did a lot of cooking at the place. The pool table , chess table and all the different board games really made the stay so much fun for the kids. The beds were super comfy and the view was amazing! Thank you for an amazing stay and we look forward coming again!

This place was huge and great location! I’m happy they provided canoes and kayaks with life jackets. It’s the perfect place for a family or group of friends. I cannot expressed enough the amount of wood for the fire pit that was provided. Thank you so much. Plus The beach was close by! It was lovely and relaxing. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Also, the host checks in with you and had good communication. The host allowed us to have a great time while making sure everything was good.

This is our second time staying at Arushi's place in the last month. We had to book a last minute trip to the Huntsville area & reached out to Arushi to see if we could stay with them again. Not only did Arushi get back to me immediately, but she offered an early check-in and was extremely accommodating to my dogs & my family. This time we hosted my parents & brother for dinner & my brother stayed the night. They all raved about how beautiful the house was, how well equipped & laid out the spaces were, and how peaceful the property was. We picked up some Chinese food in Huntsville (super close) and headed back to the hosue to enjoy the huge table. We had a wonderful time. Arushi is a fantastic host & I would recommend you reach out to her if you have any questions or requests. The second time staying was even more magical than the first, as we got to share this incredible home with our loved ones. We truly appreciate being hosted again at Arushi's perfectly peaceful place.

My family had a great time at Mark & Betty’s cottage. It was spotless clean, tastefully decorated, ideally located overlooking a valley and a lake, and fully equipped with amenities, bath towels, fireplace logs , and books and toys for kids. Everyone has something they liked, to name a few, enjoying sunrise in bed, watching birds feeding from the bird feeder, reading by the window overlooking the valley and sleighing on the ski slopes. Mark and Betty were super responsive and friendly, they provided clear instructions and suggestions on things to do locally. Everything went perfectly, this will be an unforgettable Christmas for us!

Beautiful cottage with a spectacular view of the lake! Very quiet and peaceful for rest and relaxation. The fireplace made the cottage even more cozy on some very cold winter days during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the entire cottage was well set up for a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was easy to find and anything you could possibly need was there. We loved that amenities like grocery stores and restaurants were close by and easily accessible.

Great place to stay for our Family ski trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is attractive, comfortable and well-equipped. Our only negative comment would be the absence of a kayak or canoe for guest use.

This is our third time staying at the Cedars and it was amazing as always! Such a cozy, peaceful spot for our family of 4. Loved the wintry landscape and warmth of the cottage. Beautiful views of the lake. Beds were super cozy and the bathrooms were pristine! Only a 20 minute drive to Sir Sam’s ski resort, which we ventured to as well. The outdoor sauna was a fantastic addition, especially after a day of skiing! Ashley is a fantastic host who is always available and responsive if needed. We wish we had stayed longer! Thanks Ashley and Peter! We will be back for sure! :)

We had a fantastic stay at Amy's beautiful home among the trees! So easy to get to Sir Sam's, which made long days on the hill super easy. Excellent communication from Amy.

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 young kids. Beautiful open space with gorgeous views. Very clean and had everything you needed.

Nice cozy cottage. It was exactly as listed, had everything we needed, we enjoyed the winter activities on the frozen lake and peaceful surroundings. Nice location, easy to find, close enough to amenities.

A lovely little cottage in an amazing area. The cottage was very clean and up-to-date! We had everything we needed and more: wood and kindling for the fire place, extra blankets for cold nights, and coffee for an early morning. Communication wasn’t directly through the host but an automatic system, which was absolutely fine as it provided all necessary information! We’ll come back again!!

Echoing the previous reviews, Bali was an amazing trail guide, we loved her company. Helen was a great and friendly host and the cabin was the quiet and peaceful escape that we wanted.

Kat's place was amazing for our group. The main cottage was well laid out and included lots of fun games. You were able to walk, or drive a short distance, down a private path to the two cabins and the gorgeous waterfront. The cabins were perfect for the teens and young adults in our group. There were beds for everyone. Kat was very responsive and easy to communiicate with. Kat, and her family have a wonderful property that is a true getaway, and gives everyone time away from technology to enjoy the surroundings. There was lots of swimming time in clear water, and room for all of us on the dock. We enjoyed every minute and look forward to coming back.

Our family had a great stay at the lodge. The kids ran around the back yard trying to catch frogs and we made the short drive down to the beach every morning. Brett was extremely helpful in responding to a question about the BBQ, and the place was exactly what we wanted. Thrilled about our time there and we'll book again!

Second time at the Deacon Escarpment , first time at the Red Pine and it was just perfect and what I was looking for. Loved the size of the cabin, small but the windows and views provided so much light. The kitchen area was excellent with everyone one would need. It was so private and relaxing. My dogs were just in heaven and spent half of my days walking all the trails in the picturesque setting. I wish I go go once a month 🤣 Zac and Steph are always responsive. Cant wait to go back.

stayed the night last minute. Jim was very responsive. was a long trip from barrie - Kingston. this spot was comfy and made me and the pup feel right at home. Will be returning when I have more time to enjoy the beauty of this place
