What a beautiful cottage on a beautiful lake! The multiple windows really let in the outdoors. there were so many different places to sit outside to enjoy nature and the lake. We used a kayak and a canoe, and Catherine provided all the safety equipment too. She even lent us a couple fishing poles. We chose the option to leave $10 for the garbage removal rather than take it to the dump ourselves. Everything was so simple. We are so glad we chose this cottage.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Ryan and Bryan are the sweetest hosts ever!! The guest cottage is the cutest place, so cozy, so clean, the decor is awesome! It has everything you might need for a short stay. It’s like my dream home, I didn’t want to leave. Ryan and Bryan, you are convincing us to move to Huntsville 😊

Beautiful rustic cabin in the woods but near restaurants etc...Tavia was a great host, available and helpful. She is always within reach but very respectful of your privacy. The area is peaceful country, on a dirt road surrounded by farm land and two ponds. The cabin is basic, everything required for a rustic gettaway, and a screened in porch with forest view. The only warning would be for those who cant climb a ladder to the bed loft. I will definitely be back.

Hidden gem!! A touch of paradise! Beautiful rustic cabins! Incredible lake views with the most clear water! The hosts are so welcoming and gracious! We had an amazing week here relaxing and enjoying! We will definitely be back!

This was the ultimate weekend getaway. Even tho the weather was quite cool, we prepared for it. We walked the woods and spent some time with their adorable ponies. They were super friendly and enjoyed all the attention. The views are something to be seen. You can see the acres of changing trees. We loved star gazing from the bed and balcony at night. So many shooting stars. We were very smitten with this place. We would love to come back a little earlier in the fall next time for the apples and early coloured leaves! Jenise was also responsive and incredibly accommodating when we wanted to hunt down the ponies on the property. We highly recommend this place!

Everything about this stay was so beautiful and perfect. We visited during October and all the fall colours were on full display, so gorgeous. Absolutely zero complaints, the bed was comfy, the incinerator toilet was easy to figure out, the shower was warm, Tammy was a wonderful host. I would definitely recommend staying here, so much to do in the surrounding areas as well.

Stay was lovely. Place was really nice and clean. Bigger than it looks in the pictures. Only thing i was struggling is the date i booked was unfortunately snow storm day and map was showing road closures warning. I wanted to reschedule the day but no response from 2 days no phone call answer. Then we decided with end up going left early from home as travelled from far. As soon i reach there i text again i got answer back right way. I can understand there might be emergency but at least reply me in the morning on the day we are booked. I could have rescheduled and had smooth travelling instead of struggling on road of bad snow storm day.

Biljana's place is an Art Paradise. it transports you to another world. on my way to the Airbnb, I asked our host so many questions about local attractions/things to do, but once I entered the loft I didn't need any of that. I just spent my whole stay at the property to truly experience each piece of art there. I brought my 4 year old here as a surprise during his march break and he loved it ❤️. Biljana made our stay even more special by adding personal touches to his bedding and has enough to keep an active toddler completely engaged and screen free for the duration of the stay. Bonus: This was his first time interacting with a children's book illustrator. Already planning my next visit here. Cant wait to be back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Braden's place was exactly as the listing showed: cozy, private and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the quiet nights by the fireplace. If you're looking for a cozy getaway as a couple, look no further!

our stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge was great! it was such a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and wildlife. We had an issue with the tv the first night and it was fixed the next morning once we had let the host know! The welcome package and videos included were super helpful for getting to know the property and how to use the wood stove. Some of the kitchen utensils were dirty when we arrived but that was an easy fix and about where the list of downsides ends. I would definitely recommend booking this place for a nice getaway!

Had a lovely long weekend during a snow storm at Emma & Andrew’s cabin! Our two dogs loved the trails and warmed up by the fire afterwards. Great way to disconnect and relax.

Our stay at Creekside Getaway was incredible! Anguel went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and comfortable experience, especially in the snowy weather. He met us at the gate upon arrival and even picked us up with his ATV when we were leaving, making our trip hassle-free. Throughout our stay, he was always quick to respond to messages and made sure we had everything we needed. The tiny home itself was cozy and beautifully situated with stunning views of the creek and forest—made even better by the relaxing hot tub. Anguel’s hospitality truly made this getaway special. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, gorgeous & unique location. Enjoyed our sunset walk on the “ghost trail” and on surrounding country roads. Comfortable, cozy stay with everything we needed. Enjoyed meeting our canine hosts as well :)

This spot was great! It was the perfect refuge for a snowstorm. The kitchen was large, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was pristine when we arrived. It's a very quiet area in close proximity to Campbellford and loads of conservation areas. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the surrounding forested area, the jacuzzi in very cold weather and cozied up in the living room with Netflix and food when the weather was too cold to venture outside. Parul was a great host, she even went as far as calling a snowplow to clear the driveway for us before we left. She was always ready to answer any questions we might've had and gave clear instructions regarding check-in, check-out and any issues regarding the property. Two big thumbs up! Thank you Parul!

Beautiful place to stay in the winter time. What an experience. Bonfire & BBQ hits differently in the winter! Make sure you bring extra clothes and be prepared to sleep in a jacket (as keeping propane on during the night is not recommended). Sharmine and TJ's place is readily stocked if you need certain tools/equipment. Would recommend staying here!

We stayed at this beautiful tiny cottage for 3 days during fall and we had an amazing experience! The place was exactly like the photos, very cozy and beautifully decorated. Dmitriy was very responsive and had clear instructions on everything. The one thing that was different from other cottages was - we had to take our garbage with us as their was no place to dispose the garbage. Also, there was no washer/dryer in the unit. However, we knew about these while booking and the place is totally worth the hassle! It had good parking spots in front of the unit. The host was very thoughtful in putting a portable crib, mattress and high chair in the unit. The baby room's windows were also blackout. These small details were really helpful for our infant. Overall, we had a very clam and peaceful stay at this cottage. Dmitriy was very responsive and gave us clear instructions on check in & other things. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back again! Best wishes to the host!

We had a fantastic stay at La-Verne and Kees cabin. It has everything you need for a peaceful unplugged cabin experience. We were the last booking of the season, so the wood stove came in very handy on the chilly fall nights. If you are using the wood stove a lot, recommend buying their bags of wood onsite as they are small enough pieces for the little stove. The fire pit outside was great for watching the sunset, and be on the lookout for deer in the early morning! The location is great- close to town for supplies, plus nice hikes like Egan Chutes. The property is quiet and the cabin is perfectly tucked away from the main house so it’s very private. The cabin has all the basics in the kitchen and we had no problem making meals with the essentials they provide. We really loved our stay and can’t wait to come back next fall!

very beautiful place. a but small inside for 8 people max, but it was doable in terms of the one bathroom (it's smaller than we assumed). the best part about it was the location and the nature, access to the lake with kayak, canoes, and paddleboard. The balcony is beautiful, it was really lovely to wake up early in the morning. I would definitely come back here again!

This eco retreat is situated in the pristine country side of Horseshoe Valley. I was very pleased with the layout of facility. The accommodations were spaced out as to make guests feel a sense of privacy. Once inside our “Stargazer Dome” we felt totally relaxed. The warmth from our pellet stove and the comfort of the furnishings were so inviting! The unit was well appointed and we wanted for nothing. We had a very nice experience.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! Super cozy, but with all the necessary amenities. Deborah was wonderful as a host. Seeing the chickens were a plus too!
