Really lovely and spacious home that was perfect for our catch up with extended family travelling from abroad. The location was excellent for local attractions (Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, Legoland) and easy travel options into London for sightseeing and theatre with good connections to Heathrow. The glorious view of the extensive local NYE fireworks displays from the bedroom window was an absolute highlight which the kids enjoyed very much. Kate was really helpful and communicative and we would definitely recommend her place.

Had a great stay. Good location, easy walk to shops and to town. Comfortable sofa, and beds, great dining table and kitchen. Stayed with another couple of their two small kids - plenty of room for all of us. Would stay again if in area.

This was a lovely house, perfect for our family weekend away! It was really equipped and the beds were very comfy. The communication made it feel really personal and thoughtful. We will be back for sure!

Our stay at this amazing piece of architecture and home was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the thoughtful layout and impressive design. The space was vast and beautifully appointed, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The huge windows were a particular highlight, flooding the house with natural light and providing stunning views. Our daughter spent hours gazing out of them! The garden was another major plus, a true haven for our dog who had the time of his life. A special mention must go to Ester, the owners' friendly dog, who became a wonderful playmate. This house truly felt like a luxurious retreat, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a stylish, spacious, and pet-friendly getaway. Cosy and quiet cottage, beautifully and stylishly restored and furnished. A perfect bolt hole for our one night stay with our dog. Sam met us on arrival and was a charming, friendly and unobtrusive host. Little touches made a huge difference - bread, milk, butter, juice etc all ready and waiting for us. The place was immaculately clean. Couldn’t have asked for more and we look forward to coming again.

We had an excellent stay, immaculately clean house Very comfortable beds Well heated and good hot water supply. Best of all was the friendly and efficient response of the host to our messages and the very quick provision of a couple of things we needed. It was a brilliant base for us for a wedding and almost the whole family was able to stay together. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

What can we say, me my husband and 2 children stayed 5 nights at vickys place and it was absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful, we forgot we had children as they spent all their time in the pool. My husband’s family live 10 mins away and Vicky kindly allowed us to use the bbq with our family. The hot tub was great also! The house was very clean and looked after. It really felt like home from home and Vicky made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Everything from beginning to end was perfect and we’re looking at booking to come back next month, and every July for a week. If you have children this is the perfect place to kick back and relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Thank you again Vicky you’ve been a great host and we’ve enjoyed our stay at your lovely family home :)

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Perfect! Lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the world

We had a fantastic stay at David and Adriana's Airbnb! The space is stunning—the photos are accurate but if anything don’t do it enough justice! We were impressed by the beautiful decor and thoughtful touches. I was thrilled to find a dog-friendly space to celebrate my partner's birthday weekend with her entering the Surrey Half Marathon, the location couldn't have been better. David and Adriana provided plenty of local recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable, the dogs loved the nature reserve! What truly stood out, was their responsiveness. Any questions I had were answered swiftly and thoroughly, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend staying at their place!

Linda has been an absolutely fantastic host and her lodge is just gorgeous - it modern, clean and stylish with all the home comforts you need to feel homely and relaxed immediately upon arrival. The furniture is high quality and the beds are so comfy I looked forward to going to bed each evening. It’s a lovely quiet spot and there are some lovely walks nearby. We used the pool regularly…it was so quiet we were the only ones there which was lovely.

This house was easily one of the best airbnb houses I have ever stayed in. Mark was helpful, communicated with ease and the you tube videos of all possible 'tricky' points preempted any questions we might have had. The house was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing whilst we were there, plenty of space and beautifully clean. I would and will happily book this house again without hesitation.

Cool flat in a very handy location. Private, warm and comfy. Huge TV in a spacious open-plan lounge, and most importantly, a really good shower. Vaughn was very helpful and quick to respond. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

It is a nice place. The house is not spacious but tidy. The instruction provided to check in is very clear.

Sharon’s place is a cosy, quiet, private spot. Had all the things I needed for my 12 night stay.

Overall we had a pleasant stay! The accurate photos, cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful welcome package (including dog treats!) all made a positive impression. The only tiny difficulty we had was seeing the small turning of the main road in the car in darkness, although there is a sign it was very tricky to see, in the daylight and on foot was not a problem. We would book again without hesitation.

Honestly, Heidi is a wonderful host. I genuinely could not thank her and her family enough for being so welcoming. She and her daughter took the time to check in with us and Heidi was very thoughtful towards my dogs situation and provided local recommendations for walks and food. Bonus was arriving with a delicious cake and offered to give us a lift to the train station after checking out, which really helped with my dog. I may have forgotten something at the cabin and was quick to pop it in the post for me. Thank you deeply for being an incredible host. 5 stars was an easy review to give! :)

I think the title of the property says it all - Peaceful and rural. From initial contact right through to check-out, Jane and Colin were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and my dog and I felt right at home. The proximity to the adjoining common land was a real treat - we were out for walks early almost every day and back for a well deserved breakfast before heading to work. (I'm lucky, I can take my dog to work with me!). I personally used the property as a place between selling my previous property and moving into my new home, but I would wholeheartedly recommend it for everything from a short break away to a longer holiday. If the walks are not enough, Newbury and the surrounding area has plenty to offer people from all walks of life with the nearby racecourse, "Downton Abbey" (Highclere Castle), the Kennet and Avon Canal to name but a few. A big thank you for a marvelous stay.
