We were a family of 12 and loved Margaritas place who was also a great host. Only a little over an hour from Johannesburg. Ensure you follow Margaritas instructions well as the address vs actual location on Airbnb is a little different by about 400m. It is very well stocked with everything you need and more. An entertainers delight. The staff were very helpful and friendly, helped us unpack all our groceries and again helped us pack at departure. Daily cleaning was also available . The grounds are beautiful and very private. Has a big lawn area and magnificent sunsets. The house has many different areas to eat and relax at, so you never feel on top of each other. The highlight was the pool, pool table , and table tennis. We only stayed for 2 nights so never left the property, but if you have a boat, a lovely jetty area is available and river front a water sport delight. Loved our stay and will be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Angela’s house in Pont de Val. The place was spotless and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and relaxing environment. Angela was incredibly responsive and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything, which made the experience even better. She provided clear instructions about the property and great recommendations for things to do in the area. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future!

My wife, I and our three children had a great holiday here. The house is located in a picturesque village surrounded by coconut palms. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kenya is about a 10-minute drive away. We had our own car, so it was not difficult for us to get there, but if you do not have transport, you can always use a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi. The beach is beautiful! Next to the house is an ocean bay with mangrove trees. We were very pleased that the house has two excellent SUP boards! At high tide you can ride them through the mangrove forest and it is very, very beautiful! But take shoes with you because there are sharp shells at the bottom. Nice people work in the house. Chef Joseph cooked well and was very kind. Thank him very much! We were lucky with the weather, it was not stuffy at all, so we never used the fans at night. Thanks to the owner of the house Tom and his team for good memories!

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this property. Huge, beautiful outside space and welcoming inside. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were beautiful and spacious and the beds slept comfortably. Our family especially enjoyed the large dining setup inside and out. The kids had a ball in the play area. We felt right at home and will surely be back in the summer.

My family and I enjoyed our stay - this felt like home away from home. The pictures didn’t do it any justice, the place is more beautiful in person. A safe haven indeed, from the busyness of the city. Everything looked amazing and perfectly located. The host was easily accessible and proactive, not to mention friendly and helpful.

Un grand merci pour ce lieu incroyable : la maison est très accueillante et confortable . Le jardin magnifique est paisible avec accès au lac : nous avons vus des zèbres , des hippopotames et de nombreux oiseaux juste devant ! Personnel discret et à l’écoute ! Nous avons aussi fait appel à un chef cuisinier ( conseillé par notre hôte ) qui a préparé un repas kenyan : c’était délicieux ! Nous sommes enchantés !

Jonathan is such a wonderful host, there are not many like him. Everything was easy from start to finish, the house is at such a beautiful part of the estate overlooking the water and near one of the golf holes, the pool and the deck were my favoriteparts of the house. The bedrooms are nice and spacious and the lounge and chill area were great. Would love to stay here again and recommend it to everyone

This place is incredible! Exactly as described and shown on pictures. This place is great for weekend getaways with friends or family. The rooms are spacious, house is big enough to move around. Architecture was well thought through!

What a great Host!!! Felt right at home, communication was clear, always got a prompt response!!! I would recommend Joseph’s apartment any day!!! Upon check out, I had a friend fly in from Switzerland & needed accommodation, Joseph extended my stay & did a smooth transfer of guest!!! Thank you again Joseph!!!

My stay at Muhoro was quite pleasant. The host and caretaker were warm and welcoming. They were also very responsive. My family and I had a good time and I would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kosmos Heights, Hartebeespoort! The property was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment my partner and I arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and tranquil surroundings. The space was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated – a perfect blend of comfort and style. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the area, with easy access to nearby attractions and local gems. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. beautiful place, clean and refreshing

We had a great stay. The place was exactly as described and with all amenities described available. Very good quiet environment. Aisha was helpful through out our stay and quick to help when needed.

Lilian is a very friendly and proactive hostess and her properties match her adverts.

Our GPS let us go and we ended up having to text Tshego very late but I am happy to say that they checked up on us very early the next morning. As ladies who were driving by ourselves it gave ue great comfort to see that Tshego showed care and empathy

We had a wonderful stay at Frankie’s Mukindiri cottage, which is more spacious than Tandala, though both are charming. Coping with potholed roads to get there (Frankie warned us!) was more than compensated by the paradise on arrival: beautiful cottage, colobus monkeys in the lovely garden; giraffes, zebra, warthogs, and other wildlife walking by a few meters from the observation deck; and Frankie’s warm welcome! She could not have been a more gracious and helpful host. We lived in Kenya many years ago, and much has changed. But Frankie’s place and the Kongoni-Naivasha area are reminders of all the richness of the wildlife, scenery, and friendly people that Kenya is famous for. Highly recommended… we hope to return.

Forest, nature, a place built by hand with love and wisdom... Two different species of monkeys foraging in the tress above on the same tree as Hornbills.. this place is piece of magic. The perfect spot for meditation, writing, relaxing... letting nature heal you. One of my favorite Airbnb's of all time!

I would recommend staying here and would come back for another day: the house was beautiful and in a great area of Kenya close to great hiking trails and other activities.

Fantastic to stay with family. There were so many things to do within the estate itself. The house was absolutely gorgeous.

Fantastic detox weekend for a group of female 40-somethings. Everything as described on-line. Excellent communication from co-host, Terence, despite his own medical emergency. The Kayaks are more than sufficient for a quick row, the kitchen is well stocked and decor and furnituire reminds of a rustic cottage. And we are a loud group with respect to laughter, games and jokes and could finially enjoy ourselves without bothering anyone. Fluffpot was a welcome surprise guest. Thank you so much!

We had a delightful weekend with four families at Otter Cottage. The cottage had many of the things we needed for four busy toddlers, which meant we didn't have to schlep all of our gear from Nairobi! Bethany was super helpful and responsive as we got ready for the trip, and Paul the housekeeper was knowledgeable and kind after we arrived. The chef recommendation was excellent and made the stay super easy for us. We enjoyed being able to walk to the lakeshore to take a boat tour. And we loved the giraffe visitor!

The host is very friendly and easy communicating . The dog is very lovely and rabbit is very cute. I will stay there next time as well
