This is the second year on the trot we have stayed at Little Springfield, as we loved everything about our stay last year, we rebooked straight away for this year. Lesley and Martin are wonderful hosts, very friendly and approachable. Great communication either in person or message. Property is very clean and tidy, equipped with everything you’ll need for holiday. Information about things to do and places to visit. There is a gated area for your car, and an area for relaxation/Bbq. Ideal for some peace and quiet, but also near enough for Bude and supermarkets 5 minutes drive away. Keep up the good work, see you next year 👍🏻

My 2 young sons and I have stayed at the Mainstay Pod over the Easter weekend and it was everything we could have wished for and more. Stunning peaceful location, the hot tub and sauna were brilliant. We feel rested and refreshed. My sons are already asking when we can go back! Ed was very proactive and helpful. Thank you!

What a lovely escape this was! We had everything we needed for a cosy night in, before exploring the nearby coastline the next day. A great little gem and we were very happy with the well thought out set up.

Just returned from yet another stay at The Glade, it never fails to be amazing. My son has spent his past 2 birthdays here with me and explains that it is his favourite place. We love the hammock, woods, quiet, solitude and my sons favourite thing is waking up to the birds singing. This place is truly a haven! Remember to take your binoculars as there are an abundance of birds to see. I noticed this stay that there is a nesting pair of Nuthatches nesting in the tree directly in front of the kitchen window. Spent lots of time watching those go in and out and tidy their nest. The Glade is equipped with everything you need and Juliet is on hand if you need anything else. Lovely place and I cannot say enough good things about it. We will be back again soon. Liane, Roo and Peggy-sue.

Already planning our next stay! We found the cabin really easily though it might be tricky if arriving in the dark. Absolutely fantastic location and surroundings. Beautiful views, peaceful, everything you need. It’s glamping so if you’re expecting that then you will be thrilled! Sat outside and had a drink in the sunshine, woke up to a herd of deer crossing the field in the morning. Plenty of great eateries around if you don’t fancy bbqing. The sky at night is absolutely stunning as you would imagine. Had everything we needed and stayed warm and cosy all night thanks to very good quality bedding and the little log burner. Cabin is cosy but we had enough space for our suitcase and the dogs crate too. Really special place and that’s coming from someone who’s not usually a camping/glamping girlie!

Very cosy secluded shepherds hut with a stunning view over the valley. The hot tub takes a few hours to warm up which is to be expected, but once warm it's absolutely perfect to relax in for the evening. While small, the shepards hut has everything you need for a quiet weekend away and the bed is warm and comfortable. Local towns are a twenty minute drive away so close enough to find somewhere for food or supplies, but you're in the sticks enough that we didn't see anyone other than the farmer on the other side of the valley.

Our second stay here and we love it. So we'll designed, everything you need, lovely aesthetic and the surrounding area is brilliant!

Wonderful quirky place to stay with the family, lots of outdoor activities that kept us busy, sauna was a novelty. The children loved the animals especially collected and eating freshly laid eggs. Great place for a little family adventure. Beds were comfy and it was really peaceful sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmallows in the evenings.

Really special stay at Stairway to Devon! Nathan was incredibly accommodating making us feel very welcome! The cabin was gorgeous and clean, with lovely extras for us to enjoy! Great location, and ensured we were topped up with wood for the fire & hot tub! Great local places for food and drinks! Would recommend to anyone for a relaxing weekend away; and would happily return! Thanks a bunch!

We came away from Sunset Cabin refreshed and grounded. Beautiful location with fantastic walks, and an ideal location for daily trips out around Somerset and Dorset. So refreshing to be out and about in the local countryside walking, and coming across locals out walking their dogs, who take time out to chat to you, informing you of the local history of the area. Late afternoons, and early evenings sitting out on the veranda, listening to the bird song, well !! you couldn't wish for a better way to end the day. Henry, is an ideal host. Highly recommended.

The cabin was exactly what we wanted. We had a busy weekend planned, so just needed somewhere to rest, and Charlotte's place did it beautifully. The weather was amazing so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet, with wonderful views across the countryside. The two local pubs and village store were all within a few minutes walk from the cabin, and everyone was very friendly. We would highly recommend this Airbnb

We had the best time in this cosy cabin! Amazing how it feels so private even though you’re in the middle of a housing area. The cabin is spotless, beautifully and simply finished, and everything works perfectly. Lovely hot water, little fridge and small kitchen area, clearly very well thought out in design. It feels super cosy and perfect for two people. The bed was sooo comfy and lovely fresh clean good quality linen. Even though it rained throughout our stay 😂 we enjoyed the 10-15 walk into Totnes and the cabin is the perfect quiet stay to unwind. Parking was easy, nice little back gate to enter the garden so you don’t have to walk past the house. Jonathan was super friendly, responsive and clear about instructions to check in. We were very grateful as we booked very last minute for a spontaneous trip away. Would highly recommend and this will definitely be our go-to stay when we return to Totnes. many thanks, Tamsin and Olly :)

Wonderful little hut in a beautiful rural spot, yet close to the centre of Exeter. A perfect place for a short stay with everything you need. Thank you Ali for your wonderful hospitality and clear communication. We had a great time!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay here... it was very rustic and unique. Recommend if you fancy something a little different.

Our stay exceeded expectations. Ruth has clearly put a lot of thought into the space, with lovely touches that made our stay feel special. - comfy and cozy space - good sized bathroom - well equipped kitchen - fire pit (we toasted marshmallows while enjoying the sunset - one of the highlights of our trip!) - wild rabbits roaming - fantastic area, with beautiful walks and beaches just a short hop away. - host quick to respond and happy to help We had a fantastic and relaxing stay and would highly recommend Little Northside to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic escape. Absolutely loved my stay in the Hay trailer! The place is cosy, authentic and peaceful - perfect for a quiet trip away. But still a short drive to Bath City, which is a fantastic place to see with loads to do. Sophie is a lovely host, responsive and provided lots of recommendations. Her place is brilliant to have long walks and really unwind. Cannot recommend enough!

The hut was perfect! So cozy and clean! We really enjoyed the little fireplace and the marshmallows and coffee/milk! There were little lambs in the field too! Sarah was very helpful and responsive and the instructions/directions were very easy to follow! We’d definitely stay again!

Amazing cabin, location is perfect facing a private field so you’ve got a really nice outdoor space. The separate bathroom is really lovely. Not brave enough to try the outdoor shower but in summer I’m sure it would be lush. The fridge had been stocked with basics as well as a tea and coffee table. Would definitely come again!

We had an amazing stay in this wooden Shepards hut. It was just as described and so much better in person than the pictures! Even though you are in someone’s garden is very private and the views over the field were amazing. Luckily we had great weather and sat outside to eat dinner and enjoyed the sunset. I was hoping to see the deer and was not disappointed, they were friendly and it was a cool experience to have them so close. We were worried we might be cold as we stayed in April however the hut was warm at night and the beds very comfy. If you need wood for the fire, the shop is a 5 minute drive away which was handy and there are lovely beaches nearby. I would definitely stay here again!!

We had a lovely stay for a couple of days! Abi and Mark were really responsive and provided wood for the fire pit as a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

This cabin was absolutely amazing. It was extremely relaxing and peaceful. The decor is incredible, very well presented! Everything was just perfect and the fresh bread was a beautiful touch! So much attention to detail! Loved every second of it and the host was wonderful! We will certainly be back again!

I went for a weekend away for my partners birthday , we had a great time. Only a 15 min drive to the centre with loads to do. The shack itself was great , fully equipped to cook yourself , loads of snacks like cereal biscuits sweets etc. The bed was super comfy. Hot tub was lovely. In a peaceful area , peaceful and no loud noises near by. Perfect relaxing staycation. Host was great help when answering questions etc. Would stay again :)

We had a great stay at Downwood. We stayed in the ‘Hazel’ and it was perfect. So clean, had everything we needed and the hot tub was a great touch. There was also a lovely woodland for a walk nearby. The hosts were friendly, responsive and sent great instructions prior to the visit. Would definitely stay again!
