I can't say enough good things about this place/location.. it's a true gem and my husband and I had the best time just enjoying the view and relaxing! Ellie and Tower are wonderful hosts.. very responsive and friendly and we loved the welcome basket that was left for us! Best getaway ever, we'll definitely be back!!

We loved staying at Michael’s beautiful home! Nestled in the woods near a lake, it was the perfect base for our family’s reunion trip. Michael was quick to respond to our questions and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We traveled to Mystic from NYC for a quick family getaway. The pictures on the listing captivated us and we had to book. In actuality, the photos do not do this home justice. I have been using Airbnb for almost 10 years and this is probably in my top 3 stays. The home is immaculate. My hunch is it is designed and furnished by professionals. The equipment is modern and everything is considered. Don't get me started on the master shower with bluetooth capabilities. The weather during our stay was terrible so Mystic was gloomy and empty, however we never got bored. The downstairs activity room and high speed internet had us entertained for days. We need to experience it in the summer months because the view and lake activities call for it. Even saw an eagle!!!! Thanks for your hospitality Jamie and Matt. We hope to come back.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Once we leave I have to remind myself to book it for the following year since this place books fast and there’s no question as to why! Jenna and her husband are very quick to respond and amazing host. The place is clean and very quiet. The water toys, beach front and dock keeps the children busy and having fun while I can sit and have a nice glass of wine at the fire top table or by the coat outdoor fire place. I can’t forget to add the pleasure of waking up to the beautiful sunrise on the second floor deck with a cup of coffee! Thank you again for the amazing memories and we will be seeing you next spring break!

My family and I of 5 stayed at Peter’s place from the April 14th-17th. The place was very easy to find, plenty of parking space, easy instructions to get in. Upon entering everything was very clean and organized, the rooms were the perfect size for all of us to stay in. Plenty of towels for all of us. The backyard is nice although we didn’t use it because it was chilly while we were there, but it was very clean! Mystic is about 30 ish minutes away from the place. There is a near by small beach as well for the summer days. At night everything is very quiet, and peaceful, the beds were comfortable. The charging pods on the night stand were great as well. The air conditioning in every room were great, the washer and dryer in the main bedroom was very useful, and they provide the detergent pods as well which is great. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay here. We didn’t have to contact Peter about any concerns, because we felt right at home.

We had a wonderful stay! This is our second time staying in the home and both times Mariza was accommodating and great to work with. The house is in a great location on the water and is clean and maintained very well. We plan to stay again in the future!

Karen’s Branford property was fantastic for our group of 11 friends. Unbeatable views from multiple wrap around decks and many windows. Multiple spaces for gathering and a wonderful kitchen for cooking. We truly had a great stay and would happily return.

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

This place will be our home away from home whenever there is a show at the Opera House we want to see, based on availability. Large studio, comfortable furnishings, nicely appointed decorations. Just beautiful. There’s even a crockpot!Could not be more convenient.

My stay was AMAZING! You can really see and feel how the host took time to make the home cozy and beautifully detailed. It was mind blowing to see how every part of the home was utilized without feeling cramped or cluttered. Definitely a great place for friends to come together. I was shocked to see how well the entire home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host provided superb comfort and convenience. Pictures do no justice for this zen home, you have to experience it in person. If you’re looking for a tranquil and beautiful place to visit; LOOK NO FURTHER!

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

We only had a short stay, but John was a great help letting us check in early - they clearly love their home and the town, offering annotated menus of local restaurants and info on many natural features to visit in the area. Delightful decor, many many plants, plenty of linens available, no shortage of room to lounge and relax. Parking was a cinch, checkout directions were clear and simple. Would stay again.

Ricardo’s place was truly incredible. It’s such a cozy, clean and convenient spot located in a very good area. Had everything you need and have a very home-like feel. I was visiting my girlfriend for our anniversary and the weather wasn’t the greatest outside but that didn’t bother us one bit. We were comfortable cooking and eating at home and we had everything to make that happen. Ricardo and his wife were so kind and flexible with us. We would love to come back in the summertime and fully enjoy their spot again because there are great views in the backyard by the water. Well worth the price of admission. Thank you Ricardo and family. We will definitely be back if you’ll have us! Cheers 🥂

The house was perfect. I felt right at home. Beautiful views. 5 min from town and my family. A view of East Hampton I have never seen. Host was easy to get a hold of. It was a home away from home. I plan to stay again if available when i need it.

What a beautiful weekend in a beautiful, cozy space! We felt immediately at home. The view from the cottage is even more stunning than the pictures. You can tell Donna really cares about this space by all the little touches and details. It was spotlessly clean and the couch is so comfortable! We loved sitting out on the deck by the fire pit and enjoying the fall foliage. Nearby Chester, CT was a trip highlight for us as well. We’d love to make a repeat visit!

This is a super cute cottage that is well decorated and has a fully stocked kitchen. Everything felt new. It was a cozy place to watch movies on cold nights with a gas fireplace. About a 12 min (pretty) drive to UConn. Julie was a wonderful hostess—so responsive. I highly recommend this place!

Loved this stay! The views by the lake were absolutely stunning, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This is our second stay at Scott’s place, we enjoyed it so much we came back this year, and hope to go back next year. My husband and I enjoyed the many moods. Of the lake. He is an avid fisherman and I am a swimmer the whole Connecticut Valley region is a favorite of ours.

Place was very cute. Beds were comfy. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows. Kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed in the winter so didn't take advantage of the yard but would have loved to use the kayaks or hang out by the water in warmer weather. Great little towns and restaurants to visit nearby and a waterfall a few houses down. Really enjoyed our stay.

As everyone else noted, what an AMAZING find! A truly beautiful location that has you saying “wow” from when you first step inside. The place had everything you could ask for and we felt like we were at home. I would certainly come back again and I completely understand why she is booked out through the summer. What a lovely area and easy access to so many towns and attractions.
