Great place. Very peaceful with a beautiful deck to enjoy the quite. Very clean. Big full kitchen. Overall great host and location.

Tara and Tyler were great to deal with, communication was great and met us on arrival. Made sure everything was taken care of for our arrival and departure. We will be staying here again (if available) on our next trip. Thank you for a great stay

Amazing house in a quiet protected cove on the lake. We had an amazing time and the spot is perfection. The kids loved the playground and the water toys! We had a campfire one night and even were lucky enough to be there during a meteor shower - which we got to see clearly. Troy was an amazing accommodating host. 10/10 recommend this place.

Tis a Getaway Farm. Central to the Bay of Fundy excursions (which was our desire). Very Nice people that made everything about the house and the surrounding area crystal clear. Close enough for Day Trips to Halifax. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We do a family girls trip in February every year and this year we switched it up and tried The Lux. The first day was overly windy and cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space but on day two, we had the best time! We went for a skate on the easy to access lake, followed by a sauna and hot tub, and showers in the main room which was great for getting in out of the hot tub and showering multiple kids at once. The rooms were all very cozy and we loved watching a movie in the dark movie room. Host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you!

A great base for our weekend visiting friends and family in Bedford, Halifax, and Dartmouth. Very spacious accommodation with a full kitchen and a great deck. Loved all the fall colours and the quiet surroundings. Easy access to the airport for our very early flight. Everything was super clean and hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend. We didn't bring any dogs on this trip but I love that the house was dog friendly.

It was a special stay at Porters Peak! The surrounding nature was beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. A perfect place for outdoor lovers! We were lucky to have two sunny fall days and were even able to use the paddleboards at the lake. The site is still under development (for example there is no running water yet) which was totally okay for us because we love the minimalist off-grid style, but we found out through the comments of other visitors, not through the host. And it would be helpful to mention that a steep gravel road is leading to the cabins, so not possible with every car and every weather condition. It was nice that when we had a problem with the propane fireplace, someone came directly in the morning to fix it. Still a lovely place and a cool project! Would recommend and visit again!

Had an awesome stay. Loved the location and amenities. Accommodations were great and the bed was super comfy. Cabins had everything you needed. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely return.

Took an impromptu trip to NS for the weekend and lucked out with a vacancy at the Lakeside Lookout cabin. Very quiet, peaceful and serene surroundings made our stay more than enjoyable, topped off with a clean and welcoming cabin. Interested to see all the other things that they will build and do with this property. Will return in the future for sure.

This place really was a “Peace of Nature” although some amenities were shut down because of the colder months approaching it was nothing shy of beautiful. With a lake view from our bed and stunning sky views in the evening. Staff were never far away should we have any issues such as running out of propane. Clean cozy and the perfect shut off from nature. 10/10 recommend
