Wonderful place.

This was my second stay at Pondok Apsari with Ji! I first visited in 2016 and it was amazing to return to this magical spot. The home is very rustic and we feel very lucky to have stayed here twice as it truly is a magical spot and our favourite part of Bali. Ji has ensured that both stays were amazing and we felt lucky to meet with Ji again on our holiday so many years later as he is always amazingly accomodating and a great Balinese guide if you should need!!! We slept on the middle level and could see all the way to the ocean in the morning when we woke and fell asleep to the sparkling city lights of singaraja. We hope we will get to visit this little slice of heaven again!

Loved our stay! Made is a wonderful host, super attentive and thoughtful. The room was really cool, loved the bath tub! Private views of the forest, so cool. The sound of the waterfall, birds & bugs was so nice. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a very nice long stay at Wayam's place. The local family that run this lovely little bnb has been impeccably helpful and sweet, making our journey in nusa area very pleasant. A special thank you for Risa, she has fulfils all our needs with love and a big smile. The place overall it's very cosy and private. The breackfast its basic but made with care. The room it's confortable, clean and the bed it's soft. The out door pool it's nice making the spot more enjoyable. We can definitely reccomend Wayan's bnb.

Die Unterkunft ist großartig, wunderschön mit Pool und Dschungel Feeling. Das Zimmer war toll und groß. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit Buda haben wir eine Tagestour gemacht, sehr zu empfehle. Und es gibt Scooter zum mieten.

Super schönes Ambiente direkt an der Reisterasse. Man öffnet morgens die Fenster und sieht direkt in den Dschungel. Ein schöner Infinity Pool mit Blick in auf die Reisterassen. Insgesamt vier Kleine Unterkünfte, perfekt alleine oder wenn man in Gruppen reist. Etwas abgelegen aber man konnte sich einen Roller mieten und war in 15 Minuten in Ubud Zentrum und in 5 Minuten an den Tegallalang Reisterassen im Norden. Definitiv einen weiteren Besuch wert, wenn ich in der Gegend sein sollte.

Wonderful place to stay to work or to have personal project, we stayed for nearly 1 month during the low season: working in the morning and then diving in the sea, 10 mns walk, we went to some good restaurants close by or we’ve found fresh food for salads from the close market , the atmosphere and the people we met were all very kind and nice, thank you Myrta and Ron for your hospitality, our room was very spacious and peaceful !

Der Besuch war magisch. Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat funktioniert und ich wurde wundervoll von der Familie empfangen. Dewu war hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Das kleine Häuschen war wunderschön und paradiesisch. Ich hatte den Garden Room und der Ausblick von meinen Häuschen war wirklich atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen gab es hausgemachtes balinesisches Frühstück aufs Zimmer serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Ausflüge die ich mit Dewu waren wunderschön. Da ich alleine am reisen bin, war es gut einen Guide an seiner Seite zu haben, der alles erklären kann. Ausserdem machte er wunderschöne Videos und Fotos von mir. Da diese Unterkunft eher etwas ländlicher liegt und nicht direkt im Zentrum, kann man sich da super entspannen und runterkommen. Es gibt einen Pool wo man sich abkühlen kann. Ich bin super zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Es gab auch immer die Möglichkeit Dinner aufs Zimmer zu bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

Les hôtes sont souriants et à l’écoute. Il y a un bon rapport qualité prix nous n’avons pas été déçu.

Evelyns boende var perfekt för oss. Personalen var välkomnande och trevliga, hjälpte oss med allt från att boka olika aktiviteter till att servera en mycket god frukost. Rent och snyggt på hela anläggningen. Hit kommer vi gärna tillbaka. Anette och Ragnhild

Nice place, amazing view, nice people so helpful and friendly they even prepare small honeymoon decoration for us it’s just completely memorable experience.

This is such a special place to stay in Amed! We stayed in the room that had a little deck with a view of the ocean. And while the deck does look right onto the restaurant patio, it still feels special to have our own place to sit and listen to the waves. It’s a beautiful hotel, but what makes it extra special is the kind, patient and observant staff. Every single person that helped us at the hotel was so sweet and wonderful and two of the staff members even offered to give us a ride on their motorbikes when we needed to go to a place that was further than walking distance and no taxis were available. They lent us helmets and drove us safely to our destination, and then picked us up on the other end. We cannot recommend this place highly enough! That said, it's worth noting that the Amed streets are currently under construction (adding sidewalks and drainage). We found walking along the beach to nearby establishments to be more pleasant.

They called it Secret Lodge for a reason. And like most well-kept secret, this place is invaluable. We were lucky to get the best room, with the best host, and the best mascot (hello, Banana! We miss you!). Stéphanie, Ludo and Manon really went the extra mile to make sure all of us are well taken care of during Nyepi. The place is beautiful. It’s not like a home away from home. It’s like a place you will go to when HOME is not a place you want to be. Going there might not be easy, but it’s worth it. We miss the place already. Thank you for having us. It has been one of the best Nyepi we ever had.

The place is absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, very private, with great view. The private pool is amazing and the hot tub too. Im sure you cant get anything better for the amazing price. The host went beyond expectations. They put flowers for us everywhere, something that we didn’t expect. Also they took our laundry to the laundry service nearby. Excellent host, excellent place!!

Nyoman and his amazing staff are were the most friendly people ever to host us in their accommodation. They were not only friendly and very helpful but also funny and chill, always ready to have a small chat and a laugh. Each day they prepared a very tasty breakfast, delivered at your hut patio. The wooden huts were super cozy and clean, with an amazing pool that looks over a lush green garden. There are 6 little huts but it really feels as if you have your own little private space. The bar in front of the accommodation is perfect if you want to have a drink with locals from Bali, play some pool or watch the weekly fishing competition. Thanks again to the team for the lovely stay!

Ein Homestay, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann! Ich war alleine unterwegs und hatte sofort Familienanschluss, alle sind wahnsinnig nett und kümmern sich. Das Essen ist traumhaft, es gibt für wenig Geld eine Auswahl an 5-6 einzelnen Gerichten und eins ist besser als das andere. Ich habe einen Kochkurs und Ausflug zu den Wasserfällen gemacht, beides war super schön. Und zuletzt wurde ich noch zum Hafen gebracht und bekam Unterstützung bei der Organisation der Weiterreise. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen, terima kasih banyak!

Endroit agréable ! Atypique! Fantastique ! Nous avons passé deux nuits sur place et tout s’est très bien passé. Le Staff est vraiment top. Le petit déjeuner est top aussi avec différents choix. Nous avons organisé notre ascension du Kawah Ijen avec eux et c’était top. Si vous cherchez un lieu atypique dans la nature. C’est un lieu que je vous recommande sans hésiter !
