The apartment is really bright and spacious and tastefully decorated. The living area and kitchen are perfect. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. Audrey explained everything very clearly to us when we arrived to drop off our luggage (the owners facilitated an early drop off before 4pm). In terms of improvements, the water boiler is quite noisy so if someone used the bathroom late, it could wake other guests. We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom - some of our party flew with hand luggage only with a small liquids allowance. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient for the EICC, a 10-15 minute walk. The welcome breakfast pack was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Napoli-themed Pizzeria 1926 with delicious pizzas!

Nice people and place. Great to study. Good to be settled, with laundry, gym, and study area. Good location too.

Brilliant place to stay. Sophie and Gavin ( not forgetting Monty!) were excellent hosts. The studio flat is spot on, easy to find, comfortable and clean. The fresh eggs from the hens next door to the studio were great. The location is amazing, the village really is well worth staying in and is a lovely spot if you like easy access to some great walks and stunning scenery. There was more than enough to do in a week and we still didn’t see everything we hoped to.

the accommodation was clean and exactly what was described and walkable to Colgate 20 minutes. lots of useful shops and restaurants around. A bit pricey but a great location

Great location and an easy 15-20 minute walk to the Royal Mile and train station. The bus station is only a 5-ish minute walk. Comfortable beds and the washer/dryer combo was great and extremely convenient. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything.

Absolute home from home. This was one of the nicest Airbnb we've stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few now! Gorgeous apartment; funky, quirky, cosy, clean, well laid out, so comfortable (sofas and beds!), we could have stayed another 2 nights! Leith Walk is 10 minutes away on foot, and what a cracking place. Loads of lovely places to eat, nice bars, grocery shops, the transport links are ideal; the trams literally pass right along this route and take you straight into the heart of Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks to Gary for providing such a lovely place to stay :)

Amazing Stay! I had a great experience staying at Jack and Dawn’s Airbnb. Dawn handled all communication and was very responsive and helpful, making the process smooth. The place was clean, exactly as described, and easy to check into. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and had a very relaxed atmosphere—it truly felt like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Maria's place exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pristine and cozy getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how immaculate and well-kept everything was. The cleanliness was top-notch, making the space feel fresh and inviting. The coziness of this place was truly exceptional. The decor was charming and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Maria was incredibly hospitable and responsive.

Our stay was amazing! Everything is very central to the flats location and easy access to book routes, grocery stores, restaurants and pubs. Gill was a fantastic host and would 100% book again.

This is a very recent high quality conversion of a basement apartment in a high end part of Edinburgh. For four of us; the two bed two bath was perfect. Spacious and comfortable. A short taxi from the action - if that’s what you want - but a nearby lovely walk through the Botanical Gardens to the lovely Stockbridge village which it’s hard, restaurants, bakeries and galleries The host Riccardo was super responsive and very helpful. Well located, quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Before arrival there was clear instructions on getting to and into the flat, it was so clean and we felt right at home. I had an extended stay, and Elizabeth was an amazing host and even helped out when I had some plans change. The flat is within walking distance of so many restaurants and getting to the major points of interest like High Street and the train station are easy. I truly cannot recommend Elizabeth's Airbnb enough!!

we have just spent nearly 2 weeks in this lovely 2 bedroom apartment. we felt right at home. it was quiet at night so we slept well. the kitchen had all we needed to cook. the place was clean. the view of the sea was beautiful!!! my van was parked safely over the road. no issues with finding a space. town was a few minutes walk and there were plenty of places to eat. and the host was friendly and responsive.

We had a fantastic stay at Findara. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches. The surrounding countryside and coastline is stunning, and Lydia and Arthur provided great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We hope to come back. Thank you for a wonderful week.

A perfect home from home stay to spend with family. Thanks to Jane and her co hosts for the kind welcome basket :) The house is beautifully presented, clean and spacious. The hot tub was a fantastic addition to an already fantastic house! We were fortunate with the sunny warm weather so also to enjoy the spacious garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend to travellers looking for a large property to stay in just outside Edinburgh.

Jamie is an absolutely lovely host and the flat is beautiful and spotless. The bus stop right outside is very handy, also the Co Op just around the corner. Not the most salubrious area but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again, an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.

We booked Susannah's property to host a family get together with people travelling from as far away as New Zealand. The property turned out to be perfect for the 5 of us but would have been just as perfect for 8. This property is clearly someone's home, it has a completely different feeling to many of the antiseptic business properties that we have stayed in before and I felt this was entirely positive. The decor is great and the facilities even better with 3 large bathroom's offering great showers. The location was perfect for exploring Edinburgh as it was well served by the excellent bus system with the tram available for longer journeys. It would also be walkable to the centre of town but we chose to save our energy for exploring. We never failed to find parking nearby when required but chose to leave our cars in the free park & ride carpark that was accessible via a £2 bus. I cannot recommend this property too highly and would definitely return again if numbers required.

The Edinburgh Townhouse was a wonderful place to stay! Iain was very helpful and quick to respond to messages leading up to our stay. Iain was also amazing recommending local and sightseeing places to visit in Edinburgh. Check-in details provided were clear and the accommodation was brilliant, spacious, and all facilitates were excellent. Kamil, was a fantastic host. As I was his first long stay rental he outlined his rules. Respect to privacy but also sociable and volunteered to take me with him when he did grocery shopping or going for take out meals. His place felt like a second home, and asked me before going into the room I rented if he had to access items stored there. The keyless door lock and outdoor camera made me feel secure. With the kitchen I had my own cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer for my food, as well as instructed me in the use of the cooker and washing machine ( different from Canada).

I can’t express how great this place is! Ishbel is a lovely welcoming host with two lovely dogs that I could cuddle forever. The bedroom is bright and clean with all you could ask for and a mini fridge which is really helpful to keep things cool. There is a warm fan which also blows cool air when it’s warm. The bed is clean and so comfortable I could stay in bed all day. The bathroom is spotless and the shower is great. The host Ishbel is very flexible with coming and going and always up for a chat. There is a room to bring in take away food and the kitchen is ideal if you need it. She is fine with you coming in late but obviously do it in a respectful manner. Location great for Kirkcaldy town centre. A local shop just down the road. Taxis available and have good service. It’s just a lovely environment and so cheap it’s unbelievable. The dogs are beautiful and playful. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Ideal and I will definitely be definitely staying again!
