I can not recommend this wonderful holiday home enough. I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere that has been as spotlessly clean. The house is beautifully and simply furnished, with everything you need for a few days away. The location was perfect and very quiet considering how closely located it is to the centre of York. Paul and Kerry were so helpful and responsive. Check in was really easy. 10/10 all round!

Great location overlooking the walls. Didnt need the car at all and was provided a guest permit parking. Kids loved the ping pong table!

We had a fantastic stay at John's place in August and will be back! Very comfortable and clean, close to the town centre. Beverley is great and John is a great host!

Would recommend. Would definately stay again. Very convenient for city centre and the minster.

Well equipped, spacious, clean and characterful property within walking distance of York city centre, but in a quiet neighbourhood away from other tourists! Very well appointed kitchen (with Aga) if you need to cook, comfortable lounge, beds and recently refurbished bathroom/toilet. Roger is a great host and happy to help when required. Excellent all round, the only downsides were the lack of salt and pepper and that parking right outside the house can be tricky. The walk into York is also very picturesque. Highly recommended overall.

Stayed the weekend with my parents and three children (teenagers and 9 years old) We loved the location! The townhouse was lovely, the beds were comfortable and we had a great stay. But the standout was Bishy Ave and the quick walk into the city. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

We were here in March to visit my daughter who goes to Uni of York. The place was incredible!! Super spacious, clean, beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was ideal for a family and had everything we could have needed. The location is amazing. on the river, quiet, private, but still completely in town. Everything you would want to do is walking distance. I really wished I had found this place 3 years ago when she first started Uni. Highly recommend this place. The host has really made this a home away from home.

We had a fabulous time at Laura’s place. It was well equiped and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all of our party which consisted of three generations. The location is perfect and we were right in the middle of the historic “shambles”. Laura was very responsive to questions and instructions were very clear. The house was toasty warm which was good as we had arrived in York from an Australian summer. I would definitely stay at Laura’s again and recommend to friends wanting to visit York.

We had an excellent few days in monk bar court. The location is very central and close to Yorkminster. The Wheelwrights team were very helpful and responsive. Recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home. The house is beautiful, cosy, and everything was spotless. It was great that the house had an allocated parking spot, which is a rare find in York. The beds were very comfy and the house was in a quiet location, yet only a few minutes walk into town. We were delighted that the host provided a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate New Year. Thank you - it was great.

Great spot for our family of 4, close to great bakery and restaurants and quiet. Easy free parking a plus. The flat is adorable with a lot of nice touches:)

We stayed at Kate’s property to see family. It was booked last minute then added an extra day early last minute. Kate is a fantastic host who makes sure you know all the details, very quick responses and a lovely lady. We realised the pool table was missing two balls, I messaged Kate and she ordered new ones and dropped them off to us the next day :)

Jo was a great host and her home was lovely. We spent 3 days exploring York and her place was walkable to the city centre and all attractions. The walk was along the river which was beautiful. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We loved our stay at Sarah's place in York. It was very central, while still being in a calm area of the city right next to the city walls. Sarah gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and we particularly enjoyed our evening meal at skosh close by. The amenities in the flat were great, with comfy sofas and beds and a decent kitchen as well. There is also parking although we did not use this.

Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Quiet neighbourhood and no more than a 20 minute walk into central York. House had everything we needed, and was lovely and warm. Would recommend it as a great base from which to explore York, and somewhere to get a very decent night's sleep.

We had a brilliant half term holiday at Kathryn’s gorgeous house. She is an incredible host - so friendly and responsive and went out of her way to make things as easy as possible for us including providing a spotless high chair, cot and bed guard etc. The house is exactly as described - comfortable, clean, spotless! And has absolutely everything you need, Kathryn really does think of everything. From ice cubes to children’s books! It’s a perfect location for walking into town, the train station and other attractions such as the railway museum etc. We had two children, a baby and a grandparent in tow and it was perfect for everyone involved. The bunkbeds were especially a hit for our boys. Thank you Kathryn!

Our stay at the terrace was fantastic. It was exactly as described and exactly what we expected. It was the perfect weekend accommodation for the two of us to explore York and we have already recommended to our parents. A short stroll into town, and a cosy place to return to.

Carolyn's home is wonderful, and was perfect for our stay whilst working in the local area. Everything was in perfect condition and we had everything we needed for our stay. With lots of local restaurants and bars there's a lot to do, the location is easily accessible and is rather central for getting around the old town and marina, with the rest of town in a walkable distance. The main star of this property is Carolyn herself. A very responsive host who kept us fully up to date and was very helpful when we had to extend our stay when our work ran over. I really can't recommend the property highly enough, but it's Carolyn who made our experience as enjoyable as possible.

I would definitely recommend this home to everyone. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully functional with all the right utensils. The lovely touch of prosecco and decorations for the new year eves was very thoughtful. The area is perfect for a little getaway, it was quiet and was a short walk into town. Everything was clean and it felt homey.

We stayed at this lovely town house for three night in February. It's bijoux but has everything you need and is bang in the centre of the most trendy part of Hull, the Fruit Market. The house was on 3 floors and was beautifully furnished and comfortable with things like luxury velvet throws and cushions on the beds and some lovely artwork / ornaments throughout the property. Two bedrooms with double beds (they felt like small doubles). We are used to a super king and are both tall so we used both bedrooms. We were exhausted after enjoying the night life Hull has to offer in it's Old Town, even for people our age 40+... The house was peaceful even though right next to a duel carriageway and no noise at all from neighbours. We really enjoyed the location and the plush amenities of the house and we will definitely look to stay again when next in the area.

We had a lovely last minute stay at the little seaside cottage. A lot bigger than what we expected but very cosy. Checking in and out was very easy. Perfect location with parking included. One street away from the beach front and all the shops but still private and quiet. Will definitely be booking again! Thank you
