We stayed at Cuckoo Barn for a week - it was perfect for sightseeing no where was too far via car yet it was a quiet & peaceful location to come back to Very cute little cottage which suited our needs Rosalind was a great host - would recommend this home

A lovely few days in a beautiful part of the world. Our first time away with our 7 week old baby and the hosts made everything very easy for us. It was an ideal place, superbly hosted in lovely surroundings.

Very comfortable stay. Last minute booking. Mostly clean. Very comfortable bed. Mostly modern/updated. Small space used very well, feels airy. Fridge needs updating, some areas needing deeper clean. Did not allow late check out but was relaxed & flexible whilst we were leaving. Better than expected, excellent value for money. Thank you.

Very peaceful holiday, Gemma (host) answered any questions we had promptly and the little house itself was cozy and clean. Location wise it is well situated between several coastal spots, about a 30min drive away, we also visited Bedgebury forest which the dogs loved! Recommend for a couple who want to get away from it all for a few days.

Cannot recommend enough - had a fantastic stay, Vivienne was so helpful and responsive, often checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. Overall, had a fantastic stay and was well looked after. Beautiful surroundings, even in cold wet Feb. Plenty of wildlife, chickens, ducks and guinea fowl to admire out the window!

Lovely long weekend. The accomodation was as listed, everything was super clean, loads of local information available, and with the extra bonus of breakfast items provided.

We stayed for a couple of days at Lottie’s barn with my parents and 1y old. We really had an amazing time. The house is cosy and very well equipped. The quiet setting just next to the meadows ensures for a peaceful night’s sleep. The barn is ideally situated to explore the surroundings; lots of national trust properties to discover; Lewes and Brighton are within easy reach and also for the little ones there’s a lot that the area has to offer! Highly recommend Lottie’s place for a little countryside escape!

Beautiful place to stay, lovely and secluded but also well located for Rye and other local spots. Charlotte was great with local recommendations and it was great to have all the extra bits for our baby as well.

Wonderful barn conversion. It was one of those places when you start dreaming about having it as your own holiday home. We bought all we needed from the Cranbrook Farm Shop. We had an apero at the Bijou Bar and dinner at the Willow&Sage in Cranbrook. Both were brilliant! If you are planning to vist local wineries make sure you book your taxis in advance. Biddenden Cars and St Michaels Car Hire were the most relaiable. Thanks a million, Susanna, for our wonderful stay!

Sophie & Ed were absolutely amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their Barn is beautifully designed and set out, it is comfortable and had everything and more in it that I needed for a four night stay. The location was a 2 min drive from where I needed to be so it was perfect for travelling to and fro and lovely to come back to after a long day to rest in. Thank you.

Had such a lovely peaceful weekend. Beautiful location with amazing sunrises and spotlessly clean. Such good value for money, could have stayed longer!

This is the PERFECT getaway in stunning soundings!!! The pad is set up with EVERYTHING you need and more - Joanna even had breaky goodies for us on arrival. The Fox (local pub) is a must - great food, open fire place and great 🍻 Thank you Joanna and Guy - we LOVED our stay and really appreciate your hospitality.

Booked a couple of nights away with my husband after a stressful few weeks planning the funeral for my mother in law The barn was just what we needed. Immaculately clean and decor very stylish. Very comfortable. Eggs , milk & daffodils where a very nice touch Just wanted some peace to relax snd thats what we got. Sat around watching tv eating and drinking in front of the fire which was very relaxing. Hot tub was a bonus. Very easy to use Took our very elderly dog and even though he was a prize nuisance to us he enjoyed meandering around the front field. We didn’t leave the property but that was because we wanted to switch off and reflect. The peace , quiet and comfort was very welcome Bed was amazing and Julie was very helpful Would rate higher than 5 stars if could Would definitely recommend & go back (minus the dog)

This is a lovely cottage with plenty of space. We came for Christmas with the family and it had everything we needed. It’s rural enough to feel like you are in the countryside but not isolated as it sits within a little a hamlet. The cottage is toasty warm. There is a nice outdoor space. A nice 30min walk to the Six Bells Chiddingley, which has great food, well looked after beer and live music. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return.

We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The accommodation was perfect for our family, our toddler loved the horses and friendly dogs. Nick and Nicole were super hosts and we appreciated extras like a welcome hamper and dressing gowns. Although the weather was cold and wet, the cottage was very warm and cosy: a real home from home! would definitely recommend and love to come back sometime!

We had a fabulous couple of nights at the Cow Shed, the instructions Caroline left were really clear and made the place very easy to find. Comfy bed, cosy fireplace and everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. The location was great, a 5-minute drive to the Pantiles and some tasty recommendations in the guest book. Thank you!

A very peaceful location, Charlie very kindly allowed an early check-in which helped with your travel plans. We walked into a warm home, clean and quaintly decorated, that was both inviting and relaxing. Charlie also ensured we were supplied with some delicious essentials! Can't recommend this location enough.

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

We’ve been up and down this country 20 times over and this is by far the best digs we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a pleasure to work in Eastbourne just to stay here!

We had a really lovely stay for a few days during half term with our kids. The cottage is lovely and light and spacious. The log burner kept us all cosy. Lots to do in the surrounding area and lots of suggestions given to us by our hosts. Lucy was extremely responsive to messages and also very kindly sent us back out AirPods which we left behind. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Alison’s was one of the nicest small places we have stayed in on Airbnb - beautifully decorated, with lovely linen and everything you need for a weekend in the countryside. We loved it.
