We stayed at Ocean Chic 1 for the month of January and enjoyed the apartment. Rui was very responsive and always available with great recommendations. The beach is right there and old town is a short walk. Lots of good restaurants close by. We were 2 couples and enjoyed our stay very much, thanks Rui!

Great place with our baby. Walking distance of everything and free parking as well. The Airbnb had every thing necessary in the kitchen which is rare in Portugal.

All in all this was a very good apartment. Only 7 minutes in a straight way to the beach. Justine answered almost right away. For the autumn time I would highly recommend this!

We stayed for a week in November 2024 and the location was great, regardless of what the weather was going to bring. The beaches are close by; MAR/ Designer Outlet were 15-20 minutes leisurely drive away and Forum not much longer. Faro old town was similarly close too. If you are a golfer, this is a perfect location to be in and if you are not, it is an upmarket area, with a very nice atmosphere. The property was large enough for us as a couple and having the satellite TV in so many languages will make it suitable for a range of nationalities. The local Pingo Doce is literally 5 minutes away, making life very easy, whether picking up essentials, or products for cooking in the ample kitchen in the condo. In all, a very nice stay.

The photos looked amazing, but somehow, this place is even more stunning in person. The suite is well laid out for separating the rooms and making it feel like a home. The manicured garden and the pool were really outstanding, Ricardo and Elisabete were a great host in their responsiveness and flexibility. If you are looking for absolute peace and serenity, this is it. We never wanted to leave the property. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Excellent property and attention to detail. A must!!

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. This is our second time staying at Katrina’s apartment and it felt like coming home. The long balcony gives you space to eat outside or to dry clothes. Katrina has thought of everything- from beach chairs and towels to a large rain umbrella which was quite useful as the weather was quite dreadful for a week or two. However, we took advantage of the heated pool that we have access to as well as the in site restaurant and bar and I look forward to returning next year.

Ruhige Lage , in wenigen Minuten ist man in der Stadt. :) Eine super Pizzeria nebenan , sowie ein super Café für den besten Kaffee überhaupt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und der Kontakt mit Teresa , war sehr schön. Sie antwortet schnell und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Ein schöner Pool für die Abkühlung. Vielen lieben Dank , wir kommen gerne wieder. Das einzige : wir haben die Hängematte vermisst :P

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr schön. Ganz in der Nähe von Ferragudo (ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß). Auch findet man immer einen Parkplatz bei der Wohnung. Ana war sehr freundlich und antwortete schnell auf Fragen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft!!!

Clean and spacious apartment, quiet yet not isolated. Being on 2nd floor there's no noise from anyone above you. Restaurants, supermarket nearby, Surfal snack-bar for coffee and cake, and Falesia beach 5 min away on foot! Even surf or snorkeling experience right there. The apartment is in a small and tidy complex so it still feels personal, and it is perfectly furnished, not too much, not too little. Free parking on your door step. No need to look any further!

Wir waren 4 Monate mit 2 Hunden bei Mari Carmen. Sie ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hat bei kleinen Problemen sofort reagiert. Die Wohnung ist groß genug aber im Winter etwas kalt. Heizung war aber vorhanden. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Danke Mari Carmen

Malgré une réservation de dernière minute, Alexandre a été très réactif pour l’envoi de toutes les instructions avant notre arrivée, excellente communication pendant et après le séjour. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis à la maison, ma fille avait sa chambre avec quelques jouets, la cuisine est très bien équipée, le salon est chaleureux, on ne se sent pas dans un meublé froid et impersonnel. La place de parking à côté de la porte, un vrai luxe, le matin vous ouvrez la porte, vous êtes de plein pied face aux salines et disposez d’une table et fauteuils de jardin pour profiter du soleil, de la quiétude et de cet environnement exceptionnel au cœur de Tavira. Le marché D’ailleurs est à 2 pas et vous n’avez pas besoin de la voiture pour aller dans le centre. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et espérons déjà retourner chez Alexandre.

Mooi en ruim appartement met een mooi uitzicht over de duinen en zee bij Ferragudo. Appartement ligt in een buitenwijk van Ferragudo en op een heuvel, Vila Gaivota Fase 2. Op loopafstand van een mooi standje, Praia dos Caneiros. Om naar Ferragudo te lopen met je een half uurtje wandelen door een glooiend duinlandschap en via rotsige duinpaden. Appartement heeft een mooie en moderne strand/zee-aankleding en is ruim van opzet en van alles voorzien. Alles voor een mooi verblijf. Om boodschappen te doen kun je terecht in Ferragudo zelf, bij de lokale ondernemers, of je rijdt richting de Lidl en Continente verderop richting Portimao.

Had a great stay at this lovely spacious apartment. With quite a few bathrooms and some lovely balconies it was perfect and could easily of accommodated more. The location is excellent, and being in the gated marina complex, very quiet and safe with loads of parking (right outside the apartment) and restaurants/bars and supermarkets all in walking distance (<5mins). Some great walks nearby and Albufeira is a super cheap uber ride or you can cycle/walk. The apartment was furnished to a high standard with everything you could need...and it was a perfect place for us to stay over Christmas and New Year. Luci was a great host with clear instructions and answered questions in a few minutes. First time in the marina and we will definitely be back! Thanks Luci.

Hemos estado muy agusto en el apartamento ,Susana nos recibió antes de tiempo y nos enseñó el piso , muy contentos ,seguro que volveremos . zona muy tranquila y no muy lejos de la zona de bares y acio .

There is nothing but praise and gratitude to Kathleen and Manuel for being such amazing hosts. The property exceeded expectations, and we found everything to be as described perfectly according to the description. We didn't have a car, but used uber/taxis to carvoeiro and local areas such as Estombar and Benagil. The local intermarche supermarket was only a 10 walk away, and I'd compare it to Asda in UK. Plenty of choice, easy to find what you need, but do not buy imported English goods unless absolutely necessary because they're extremely overpriced (just some helpful advice) Kathleen and Manuel have 2 dogs. Millie and Max. We absolutely fell in love with Millie especially 😍 please give her attention if you love dogs and Sat by the pool, she's so friendly and super intelligent. The attention to detail in everything about the property was perfect for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 9. We'd absolutely recommend this property and hosts to anyone.

Eravamo già stati da David e ci siamo ritornati con molto piacere, è come essere a casa. Il posto era molto tranquillo in questo periodo, siamo stati benissimo. David ha soddisfatto immediatamente ogni nostra richiesta, lo ringraziamo moltissimo.

Lovely 2 bed apartment in the old town. Spotlessly clean and fantastic communication to facilitate a last minute booking. Ana, who manages the complex, and her husband, were super responsive to any of our questions or needs. As others have highlighted, the large terrace which is not overlooked by anyone is pretty special and the flat is very homely and stylish. Just to note that the shower issues mentioned in previous reviews were not an issue anymore - the shower worked very well with no issues!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, super Ausstattung und gemütlich. Wir haben in der Küche wirklich nichts vermisst. Als wir ein kleines Problem mit dem Safe hatten, war Tiago super freundlich und in kurzer Zeit bei uns. Die Anlage ist im Frühjahr sehr ruhig, von Carvoeiro haben wir, trotz der Nähe, nichts von den Bars gehört. Für uns war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

I had a fantastic (short) stay in Praia de Santa Eulalia at Irina's apartment. I visited in January meaning the complex was pretty empty, so my stay was very peaceful and relaxing. Irina's apartment has everything you need for a stay in Albufeira, walking distance to two supermarkets and quite a few restaurants and coffee shops. Beach is also at walking distance, although water was quite cold in January! Access to the apartment was relatively easy, instructions were very clear and Irina was always accessible and prompt to answer via text - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Really lovely place to stay in Alvor. Good location only a short walk from town but far enough away to be very peaceful, with ample car parking and a grocery store a 1 minute walk away. The condominium pool and apartment balcony were great additions to our seaside holiday experience! The apartment itself was very spacious for two people and comfortably furnished with everything we needed during our stay, including some beach towels and umbrellas. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Alvor!
