We really loved our stay and felt right at home. Lloyd was there to greet us and we had a short quick chat. He even lent us their bikes to go around town. The house was clean with lots of space and all amenities needed. The most unforgettable experience was seeing all the stars at night and being so close to the lake! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location and beautiful space with hosts who communicate extremely well (both through messages and the home guidebook). They’ve been at it for a while and you can tell based on how thoughtfully everything is laid out. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and clean. Comfortable beds (and far more than needed for the three of us). Kitchen was clean and well appointed. All good!

We decided to get an earlier shuttle after finishing the Kepler Track and Ellen couldn’t have been more helpful. At short notice she was happy for us to drop off our luggage after 10am and check in as soon as they had finished cleaning the house, for which we were extremely grateful. The house was also really homely with super comfortable beds and walking distance to shops and cafes. It was a shame we were only staying for one night.

Linda’s place was immaculate, peaceful, and beautiful inside and outside. We loved using Manapouri as a base for our Kepler Track and Milford hikes. We also loved being able to walk to the lake, Church bar, and Doubtful Sound cruise. It’s close to Te Anu but feels closer to nature. You can’t ask for a prettier view or more helpful host. Perfect stay!

This house is beautiful, the hosts are really thoughtful the kitchen is packed with every utensil you could think of! The pantry is also well stocked. The beds were nice and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Good location, 5 mins from restaurants, stores, must do’s like the glow worm caves and the gateway to the Milford Sound it is really an excellent location!

Elaine’s place was really comfortable and homely with lovely artwork. The upstairs bedroom and ensuite was particularly lovely. It was also conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and shops. We can also highly recommend The Olive Tree Cafe.

Awesome place to stay. We had a group of ten who loved the space! Easy walking distance to town with a range of restaurants or takeaway available. A beautiful spot! Such a fun house with loads of character. Kitchen was well set up containing all we needed. Two washing machines and two dryers made life simple. Thank you!
