This stay was so peaceful! if you like watching the cows eat grass all day definitely add this to your list of places to stay. The airbnb was filled with all sort of amenities making it feel like home. The drive Lorne is only 30 minutes, will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Lorne/Apollo Bay etc.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Cox Cottage. Annette was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the cottage, providing helpful information and its history, including local restaurants on arrival. We found it very quiet and enjoyed walking to the lake or having a drink on the verandah in the afternoons. I particularly enjoyed watching the little wrens in the garden each morning. During our stay we found the cottage to be very comfortable with plenty of room for our family of four and two friends. There were plenty of towels, linen etc on hand. They also very kindly provided breakfast essentials for our first night. As we had driven from Queensland, this was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend their wonderful cottage to our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Rob was such a thoughtful, kind and generous host. He checked our intended arrival time and was there to greet us, taking time to chat and show us around our space. Everything that we required for our 3 night stay was there including some lovely unexpected treats. So thoughtful. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet and is located an easy 10 minute walkinto town for great coffee or a meal. Rob kindly went out of his way to drop us to a Wedding close by so we didn't arrive sweaty. Thank you Rob for being all of the reasons that rate you as a Super Host. Well deserved. The place is absolutely wonderful! Our family had an incredibly pleasant stay here. Dave and Diane are both so kind and welcoming. My wife loved the bed, saying it was so comfortable that she fell asleep almost instantly. The kids were thrilled to be here, especially with the kangaroos 🦘 and alpacas 🦙. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this place to our friends!

WE HAD THE BEST TIME, HOST WHERE WONDERFUL AND VERY HELPFUL, ROS HELPED US TO GET TO THE CHURCH FOR A WEDDING IN THE POURING RAIN. I'D RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE GOING TO BERRY... WE WOULD STAY THER AGAIN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY.. THANKS LOADS ROS N PETER CHEERS

The location is extremely peaceful and the surrounds are beautiful. It’s a great place to stay for a quiet relaxing break. Wendy and Richard went above and beyond to assist us with our travels. They are exceptional hosts. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent communication by Sandra, very friendly and made me feel like im at my home. The place was spotless, and the host had the fridge and the cabinets filled up what all the necessary items you may need during our stay, very thoughtful 😊

Ron received us in person and was only too obliged to show us around and make us feel at home. Thank you mate. The house was amazing. Its style is a fantastic example of the classic Art Deco period. Further complimented with furniture and Knick knacks of the era. The house was very homely and welcoming. We loved our stay. During which we checked out the Billson’s (now Last St) brewery (thoroughly recommend the Black Forrest Stout), The Beechworth Asylum Ghost/paranormal experience, drove to Falls Creek and spent an afternoon at Bright. Lunch at the Bright Brewery was lovely (try the porter).

We took our adult kids and dog down the freeway to Derek and Marita’s B&B on a hot weekend and found a beautiful, private getaway to spend some family time. Because of the heat the lovely pool was a highlight but there was also plenty to entertain us in the rumpus room and tennis/basketball court :) The breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented and made the stay even more relaxing and special! Our dog had his own spaces and thoroughly enjoyed pretending to be a country dog for the weekend!

I was very happy to have stayed at Monica’s BnB. She was very friendly and helpful and the house was very clean and well presented.

This is our third time and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Love it here. Lovely couple. Lovely house. Lovely surrounds.

A fantastic little cottage in Jugiong, just around the corner from The Sir George. We had a great stay and Michael was so easy to communicate with.

I loved the natural stone pool and bush surroundings, grotto like bath/ shower perfect for two and airy light open deck/ lounge room. The kitchen is much like a hotel but everything is close by for substantial meals outside of brekky and reheating. Janine is so lovely and unobtrusive. I would recommend her place to anyone the wants a quiet stay.

Sharon’s amazing accomodation was perfect for a weekend holiday and made us feel right at home straight away. It was close to everything and easy to get to. The house was spotless and very well maintained. Having breakfast already there was incredible, we can’t thank Sharon enough and we will definitely be coming back to this accomodation again in the near future

Absolutely beautiful, rooms had huge amount of space and very clean. Loved the outdoor swing chair and easy access ! Highly recommend

A great piece of history (with modern conveniences) in a pretty, very peaceful historical town. Mervyn And Tracey provide an opportunity to experience time in a living museum...a very clean, comfortable and stunning museum! Everything has been thought of, all the extras provided go above and beyond. The home and surrounds provide the most peaceful experience. Bushland, breweries and wineries surround the area. The weather was fantastic during our stay making getting out to visit the aforementioned attractions a great experience, topped of with a cooling swim in the pools at Woolshed Falls. A great part of the country if you are looking for a very peaceful, comfortable and relaxing experience in a beautiful rural setting.

Gill really made our stay special with her friendliness, prompt responses and recommendations. The room was lovely - perfect timing for a fire and all the wood already chopped up! Heated bathroom floor was a lovely surprise. Super fluffy towels and thoughtfully laid out snacks were provided and made our stay even sweeter. The property itself is located just opposite the Dandenong Botanical Gardens and a 5 min stroll to the charming, quaint Olinda village center. We could have easily stayed there for another week!

A beautiful house in a stunning location. The views, especially sunrise, are incredible. House has everything you could need including an awesome alfresco area and is in easy walking distance to shops and cafes. Highly recommend

Rosemarie and Vaughan were very proactive at messaging and making sure our stay at Bellarophen Farm was perfect. It was such a beautiful location and a well set-up, cozy loft, which was generously supplied with breakfasts foods and amenities all as described. This is such a lovely, peaceful place if you are needing some privacy and a stunning scenery to unwind.

Belinda was a great host, helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were lovely, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
