Can’t say enough good things about this place. Genuinely has everything I could have wanted even a set of cooking scales and measuring jugs. Altogether one of the best places I’ve stayed

Terry was very helpful and responsive. The Forge is very quaint, its clean but not pristine (decor is aging) but homely and comfortable. My parents found it a little difficult as the sofas are very low., and the downstairs bedroom option is only a sofa bed so wasn't suitable for them as I had hoped. But there was room for everyone and it was lovely and warm. Kitchen well stocked for Christmas cooking, although there are no numbers left on the cooker dials so that was a bit of guess work. The parking was a bit irritating as only one space at the cottage so loading and unloading of multiple cars was messy. Chinley is a fantastic location with lovely views, ample shops and pubs for all the basics and a nature reserve where you can let the dogs off lead. A great place for large families to come together to cook and eat together, various comfort levels for the beds which were basic, bathroom facilities very basic/dated. This large house was a Christmas Blessing to our family

We were looking for somewhere to stay near Hebden Bridge to explore the local area and I'm so glad we found this place. The cottage is beautifully decorated and full of character and the surroundings are just superb. I hadn't heard of Luddenham /Luddenhamfoot before. Beautiful quirky place. Percect if you like hills! We didn't find parking a problem as there was always a space on the road nearby.

Perfect stay, lovely clean house will recommend to anyone staying in the area, and if we visit again I will be sure to re book

Was super impressed with the home. Such a great deal. Walking distance to the town and a really dog friendly area! Was absolutely spotless inside and very comfortable to stay.

As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

A Perfect Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that added to the charm. The location was ideal, situated close to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. I enjoyed taking in the stunning views and soaking up the atmosphere of the city centre. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals when I didn’t want to venture out. Montgomery was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. He provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities, which made our trip even more special. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded all my expectations. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!

A beautiful cottage in an amazing area. we walked most days and did bot require the car all that much. we walkedto 4 local villages...visiting The Ablingdon Arms at Beckley on a few occasions. Our doggo was super happy in the cottage as were we! Cosy nights watching TV in the living room to big breakfasts around the dining table...and yhe odd midday nap. There has been alot of thought put into this place by the owners and it shows!

Had a lovely night here while riding the Pennine bridleway, just a short diversion off the route. Bread, butter and milk much appreciated as couldn't carry them on my bike. Really nice, immaculate cottage with friendly and helpful host. Liked the curious chickens and the cool goats.

Where to start…. As soon as we’d booked the accommodation Gemma was in contact promptly and was super friendly and helpful. The instructions on how to get the property were detailed and accurate. The property itself is in a beautiful location with amazing views 360 and lots of wildlife- as well as sheep, we saw deer and heard woodpeckers! It is quiet and private. The property itself was immaculate and beautifully looked after. As a visitor, you want for nothing as the cottage is so well equipped. There was a lovely bottle of wine and milk for us on arrival and even a few treats for the dog! The living space on the mezzanine was so comfortable and when the log burner was on super cosy and romantic. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom has the best shower! I cannot speak highly enough of the property and Gemma and will definitely go back again. Exceptional 😊😊😊

Rachel was very welcoming and communicated well. The house is as described. The garden at the back was good for the dogs. Bedrooms all very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful stay at the burrow, the barn is gorgeous inside and has everything you need, had a real homely feel and was spotless,we didnt want to leave, the kids loved the hottub, great stay all round ♥️

We specifically booked here for our Jack Russell to have a mini holiday of countryside walks and so he could roam around in the enclosed garden which we usually struggle to find gardens that are secure and safe for him without him having the opportunity to escape. This was PERFECT for us and for him. We loved every bit of staying in the hut that we would definitely book again. It was everything we wanted. Nicola was really lovely, helpful and acommodating and the attention to detail in the hut is just beautiful. Better than the picture when you're there. We did the pots and pans walk which was one of the many things recommended in the welcome guide and also a trip to Uppermill. Fantastic and thank you for letting us be your guests. Sammy and Andy x

Superb lovely 2 night stay. Would highly recommend, I think the place is bigger than the pictures show. Very cosy, everything we needed and beautiful surroundings. Walk to the Roaches not far at all. Just what we needed and will come again. Jane was superb from the off, very helpful, friendly and responsive.

Had the perfect 45 night stay. Kate & Alan are the perfect hosts. Very warm & welcoming with lots of beautiful home made goodies when we arrived. This is a perfect place for a short or long stay. Everything you could possibly want for a very comfortable stay. Very homely and cosy, lovely quiet location with the canal right on the doorstep for lovely walks and a stop off for coffee along the canal. Couldn’t fault anything we had the perfect stay.

Me, my husband and our two dogs had another fantastic stay. After coming last year we knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. We received a lovely welcome gift of chocs/crisps/prosecco along with a love heart balloon and even dog treats :) We love coming to this home as it is extremely peaceful with beautiful surroundings and we always enjoy walking to the local pub which is about a 25-30 min walk. The home is always very clean, tidy and we always feel right at home and nice and cosy. We’ve found our perfect little getaway therefore we will definitely be back. Thank you! 🥰
