Really enjoyed the stay, the place was very clean n tidy, quick response to all our needs. Would certainly recommend.

We stayed at Vidhu's place as a last minute plan to avoid the drive back home right after a long tiring day in Trivandrum. What started as an unplanned stay turned out to be the best part of our trip. The place was absolutely beautiful and every corner of the house was picture perfect. Vidhu was very responsive and guided us through everything we needed. The care taker Stephen was also a delight to chat with. The only negative bit was not having spent longer there. A must visit, highly recommended.

Such a great stay! The room is cosy, clean and everything in working order. Edwin was responsive and helpful which made check in and finding the place easy. Close to the beach and walking distance to nice restaurant. Nice outside area to sit. The home cooked South Indian breakfasts were varied and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

Great property with all amenities. Highly recommended. Only challenge was to reach to this property. Well maintained house with excellent amenities including clean swimming pool.

The property and the views from there are beautiful and for us it was a lovely place to get wedding ready. The pool and beautiful surroundings make it a really wonderful place; the breakfast was amazing, too. But what stood out most was the extremely caring and lovely care taker, Vipin. Vipin answered to each and every request, be it a late night hair dryer or very early morning coffee. We could not be happier with his care and responsiveness he made sure my family and I felt right at home and could relax and enjoy the beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for more, our biggest thanks to him!

A clean and spacious place with amazing hospitality, suitable for families or solo travellers. It is suitably located in a residential area. The caretaker Matthew went out of his way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended if planning to stay in and around Trivandrum.

The room was absolutely glorious with high ceilings, and offers ample space. You feel the grandeur irrespective of whether you’re in the room or the bathroom. I spent most of my time simply admiring the warm yellow wall in the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and Sidharth was very patient with our requests. There’s nothing I can say that’ll do justice but suffice to say, you’ll get your peace at the property. It will simply make you fall in love with Varkala like I did.

My 9 year old son and I stayed here. My son was excited to stay in Muraleedharan sir's place after seeing the photos. The host's family members and his caretaker were friendly to us and we had a comfortable stay. The quality and taste of food was really nice and worth the price.

The staff and the owner are exceptionally kind and always available to help, making you feel completely safe and cared for. The yoga classes are deeply moving, and the surrounding nature allows for a profound connection. If you're looking to experience the authentic, non-touristic side of India, this is the perfect place to stay. Nestled right by the backwaters, you can enjoy a refreshing swim, and just a minute’s walk across the road brings you to the sea. Ajith was amazing, if I could give him 10 stars I would! He was attentive, kind and helpful. The room was lovely, so spacious and clean. And the dinner they made for us was delicious. He organised a wonderful sunrise boat trip, which was sublime. And we had an Ayurvedic massage nearby. And to top it all a friend of his family had a wedding nearby which was amazing, we were fed and had photos taken and danced with everyone, it was fabulous. He woke early to see us off, and organised the most wonderful taxi driver to take us to our next destination. It’s a beautiful place and I would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jayan‘s home. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of. We received great recommendations on how to explore the neighborhood/temple, where to eat, how to get a SIM card and how to organize our further travels. There are lot of antique objects to explore in the house (also from our hometown Vienna!) Jayan and his wife provided us a really comfortable and nice stay (and a delicious breakfast as well :)).

We spent three nights at Anita’s and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room, which was a non-AC accommodation. However, its location ensured that it never became too hot. Anita’s is just a two-minute walk from the coastal area of Varkala and about a 10- to 15-minute walk to the town centre. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, as well as numerous yoga classes suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience. Breakfast is available, and laundry services can be arranged for a fee.
