We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

Booked Northfield as a base close to family as well as attending events in the central belt. House was perfect for our family, clean, tidy and lovely big outdoor space. Little added extras such as the loaf of bread, milk, butter and shortbread was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend and have already passed on to my relatives abroad who may wish to visit the area in the future as an ideal base.

Heathers place is in a lovely location with stunning views from the rear garden, the property is equally as nice , clean and tidy and the kitchen is well equipped, would definitely book again

What an absolutely beautiful Airbnb. I loved my stay at Fiona's Artist Mews House. It is a peaceful and serene place to stay in a very elegant part of town. Artist Mews House has been beautifully architecturally designed, is tastefully decorated with lovely furniture and artwork and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. I was staying after work in the city and I really enjoyed having a night in, making food, doing some work at the kitchen table and then having a really great night's sleep in the super comfortable bed. This is a most definitely a 5* place to stay - it's no wonder it's booked up completely for the next few months. I really wanted to experience the river walk but sadly I didn't have time.

My family had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Charles’ home. Kenneth supported a very smooth check-in and was super friendly and responsive. I really appreciated that the hosts were very responsive and also transparent about the feasibility of staying in their home with a baby. The home itself was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful kitchen, and was very peaceful to relax while watching the river flow by. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed at the Water Tower for 3 nights. It is beautifully restored with so much attention to detail. In arriving we explored it in total awe. It is very comfortable and each bedroom has an ensuite toilet and hand basin. The bathroom is totally wonderful - especially having a bath. The sitting room at the top has a sensational view and is very comfortably furnished. As previous reviews have mentioned the Water Tower is well equipped and we were made very welcome by Susan and Gerry and greeted with homemade muffins and our choice of breakfast ingredients. The Water Tower is really well located, with Morrisons, a wonderful Indian Restaurant called Itihaas for dinner and an incredibly convenient bus service to Edinburgh (£2 per ride - use your card on your phone to pay) - all just around the corner. The Water Tower is an incredibly special place and we would stay again if/when we come back to Edinburgh. Thank you very much Susan and Gerry for hosting us.

Such a wonderful stay in Edinburgh! It is a fantastic place with all the necessary amenities and in a lovely location just a bus ride away from the city centre - would definitely recommend for any visitors to this amazing city!

Great base to explore Edinburgh and surrounding area. Everything you could need in the property, great kitchen, bathroom, comfy beds. Able to park the car off the road, which was a nice bonus. Approx 45 minute walk in to centre, where we visited the castle and shops. Great pub - The old chain pier down at the harbour (about 10 minute walk) and a great harbour for sunsets and a cold beer. La casa ha sido espectacular. Hemos ido un grupo de 6 amigas y hemos disfrutado de desayunar en el cocina muy amplia y con absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar. La casa estaba súper limpia y muy bonita decorada. Sin ninguna duda recomiendo este alojamiento

Wynajęłam mieszkanie dla moich rodziców na tydzień i jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Mieszkanie było czyste i wyglądało dokładnie jak na zdjęciach. Ponadto, Marcin okazał się bardzo miły, pytał, czy niczego nam nie brakuje, i odpowiadał na wszystkie pytania. Jeszcze raz dziękuję za wspaniały pobyt! :) ENG: I rented this apartment for my parents for a week, and we were very happy with our choice. The apartment was clean and looked exactly like in the pictures. Additionally, Marcin was very good host, asked if we needed anything, and answered all our questions. Once again, thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities that we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was a nice touch to have toiletries available for guests, my teenage boys appreciated the huge television!

Great part of Edinburgh to stay within local restaurants bars and Stockbridge only a 10minute walk away. Great areas to go for a run also down to inverleith and botanical gardens.

Beautiful modern house. Loads of natural light and plenty of space. A great location near the airport. Really friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend.

The Gatehouse was a lovely little home-away-from-home, with modern, well-kept amenities. Getting to it from the airport was an absolute doddle with the Airlink bus that dropped you just a short walk away. Equally, getting the bus into the city centre was just as easy and convenient and the Zoo was only just up the road in the other direction. Though be warned, it’s a longer walk than you think but still only about 20-minutes at our 5-year old’s pace. The Gatehouse was fully equipped with everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. The main road is directly outside and, while busy, the traffic is fairly intermittent but does continue throughout the night (especially with the bus services). While it could be quite loud at times, it quickly became background noise and didn’t stop any of us from sleeping soundly. All in all, it made our stay in Edinburgh hassle-free and we’ll definitely stay there again. Especially as Fiona was a lovely host and full of useful local info.

Good sized accommodation with a great garden. Fantastic value for money given 25 minutes train connection to Edinburgh, with trains running about every 25 minutes. Well worth driving through surrounding area with small towns nearby. The costal walk is highly recommended, beautiful views across The Firth of Forth with nice small beaches dotted along the way.

Great property, would definitely recommend it.
