This place was awesome and even though I was a solo traveller I used all the rooms. The kitchen had everything I needed to make simple meals (even proper knives) and the bathroom/ shower was spacious and clean. Ryoko was a terrific host. She was able to answer all my questions and was so helpful in every way. This was the best value place I think I have ever stayed in, across 3 countries. If you do not cope well with steep stairs (about 10, I think) then you won't like this place. My legs got a good workout using them. Great views from the top floor. Many thanks.

香川県から娘とその友達と一緒に卒業旅行の宿泊先に利用させていただきました。閑静な住宅街にポツンと現れたゲストハウス。道路からの入り口が狭くで大きな車だとヒヤヒヤしました。 お家の中に入ると思っていた以上に広い空間で、部屋やバストイレも綺麗に整理整頓清掃されており、とても気持ちよかったです。yogi boやハンモックは座ると動けなくなるくらい最高でした。卓球台になるテーブルや大画面のプロジェクターで、宿にいても飽きる事のない時間が過ごせます。 到着が予定より遅くなりましたがチェックイン後のやりとりもスムーズで、丁寧に説明してくれました。 少し肌寒い日に訪れましたがお部屋の中は暖かくてゆったり過ごせました。 夜は室内の笑い声や話し声が外に出ると少し漏れていて、遅い時間には室内でも隣家に少し気を掛けてないといけないかも。 お風呂の浴槽は深めのタイル張りのお風呂なので少なめの湯量で入ると、湯に浸かってない壁に持たれたらヒヤッとなりました。お湯はたっぷり張るのがおすすめ。 女子ばかりでしたから、朝は鏡の取り合いで…。洗面所とキッチン横に女優ミラーの2箇所に鏡がありましたが、少人数なら良いでしょうが、多人数だと順番待ちでした。 また、背の高い人には、座るとちょうどいいですが、鏡の位置が少し低いので、立った状態だと屈まないと映らないです。 男性などは使いづらいのかな？ 玄関先に姿見があると嬉しいです。 近くにおすすめのパン屋さんを教えて頂きましたか、残念ながらお休みで行けず。 またリベンジしたいと思います。 すぐそばに24時間スーパーがあるので、食材や日用品には困りませんでした。 1泊だけでしたが、宿でもとても楽しめました。子供達にとっては、友達と一緒に過ごす時間が大切な想い出になり、まだ居たいと名残惜しく話していました。 今度は、わたしも家族と友人達と一緒に、ま利用させていただきたいと思います。 お世話になりました。

The house is perfectly located within easy walking distance fron Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama Castle, and Okaido. The home is an older house and there was some clutter and dustiness, but it was comfortable and cozy. The house is a bit cold, but the host provided an electric blanket that kept the futon warm. The host was very communicative and, check-in and checki-out were quick and easy. We were able to leave our bags after check-out and pick them up later. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Matsuyama.

I loved staying here! The host was so friendly and very funny and sweet I felt welcome and relaxed! My room was clean and comfortable with a warm and fluffy futon and I slept really well. Most importantly the location was so beautiful! The stars on the clear night were amazing but maybe even better was the sea of clouds that appeared over the town in the morning! You really feel that you are completely at peace in nature. I came here on a pilgrim walking trip and the location is excellent for this journey and the nice house with a kind host is the perfect place to relax after the long day 💕

A great spot for a family or a group to stay and use as base of operations to discover the prefacture and do kanoe in the river

We had a wonderful stay in Matsuyama and loved the atmosphere of the home. Everything was comfortable and quiet, and it was very easy to access the castle and Dogo onsen by taking the tram. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

One of the best places we've stayed in our decade of worldwide Airbnb experience. We greatly appreciated arriving to a warm apartment - with heated floors! - in February, during cold weather. The shower room had a heater, too. Hot water and acceptable water pressure. Good shower, overall. Good and easy to use washer plus a very nice dryer. There's a balcony where you can dry clothes, too. I appreciated the safety of a back door, most places have only one means of egress. The kitchen is well appointed, the induction stove works well and there's a nice kitchen table. Kids will love it here, there are many toys, stuffed toys, all sorts of kid touches. We didn't have any with us but it seemed very thoughtful and considerate of the hosts. 
 Many outlets, good and fast (33Mps download) wi-fi, nice coffee maker, toaster oven, desk lamps...all appreciated!! 
 The train runs nearby but the apartment is remarkably quiet. Pizzeria kuroneko is equal or better than those in Naples.
