We had an event in this area of the country. Our guests were from North America and were very happy and comfortable in the lodging. The place was as advertised, clean and quiet.

Muy bonito estuve 6 días en este lugar y me sentí muy bien hay, panadería, supermercado y otros locales comerciales cerca es una zona tranquila pero siempre hay que tener cuidado pero en general muy bien fabi es muy buena es muy amigable espero volver pronto 😃

En cuanto a calidad-precio me parece bastante bien. Un apartamento pequeño pero cómodo para pasar la noche en una zona tranquila y cerca de la parte turística del puerto.

Kristian was a great host, he met us at the property and helped us to use the washing machine and suggested activities. It’s worth noting that there is some traffic noise, in the double bedroom because it’s close to the road but we slept fine using ear plugs. It’s a handy stopover for taking the ferry.

Les agradezco mucho el dejarnos quedar en su hogar, la casa muy limpia y con todas las comodidades . El condominio muy seguro y tranquilo y puedes ir caminando al lago y alquilar todo tipos de atracciones para hacer en el lago desde tours en lancha, kayaks y más .

El lugar es bonito. Las vistas maravillosas y la distribucion comoda. sin duda lo mejor de todo es su host. Ella en todo momento nos brindaba informacion de cosas para hacer. El lugar estaba impecable y habia cafe y te esperando lo cual es un detalle muy lindo. Seguramente volveremos

The view and the accommodations were more beautiful than expected. The house and property is immaculately cared for with a rustic charm. The upper patio provides one of the best views in Monteverde. If you stay here, plan to watch sunset from the deck and enjoy the stars once the sun fades. This place is deep within the forest, so you certainly need a 4X4 to access. Along with ample wildlife tucked away in the forest, you can come by several different species of bugs/arachnids during your stay. The family maintains the hiking trails very well and we recommend visiting the sunset viewpoint and the iconic trees on the property. Thank you!

What a great location . Amazing view to get up in morning and having coffee to look over the lake. Amazing. As per reviews it is a rough road 2 small rivers to cross but no problem. Make sure you have a SUV. Went to water falls which was about 30 minutes away. Use the link in the Email works good for maps to get there . I did not check how far we were away from La Fortuna as on map looked close. But we did it as a day trip 2.10 hours away. Did a boat ride which contact was shown in info at the house. Make sure you have what’s app. To communicate. Beds were great and good pillows. Make sure you get you Groceries before you get there as town is 45 minutes away and no Restaurants close so plan to cook. Which was great.

I fell in love with this house instantly. It was huge and beautiful and right in the middle of the most beautiful nature setting with a gorgeous view. It was clean and comfortable - 2 bedrooms with a/c, and 2 perfect bathrooms with great hot showers. I loved the pool which is 20 steps away and has an incredible view of the lake. The hosts were incredibly kind & responsive. They had great communication and were proactive. I felt super safe in the gated community and didn't lock my door for the entire month I stayed. There are massive windows around the entire living room which can get a tad warm during the day but I simply opened the doors and let the breeze flow through and sat on the outdoor wrap-around balcony. There is a 2 minute walk to the lake but it was beautiful to swim in. House is most ideal for people renting a car as restaurants and shops are a 5-10 mins drive away. This house felt like something out of a movie to me, and I will definitely be back. Loved every minute!

Perfect launch point for our family visit to Costa Rica. We loved our stay here - clean, beautiful home, landscape, location, and incredibly cozy for our family of four. It was a great location to explore the area.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in La Tigra! The home is very private at the dead end of a road in a "locals only" area. The gardens are large and beautiful with lots of see and the sounds of the rushing river and birds. The house accommodated us well spatially though there were a couple maintenance issues - dishwasher out of order upon arrival and one of the 3 bathrooms had a stinky septic issue and was unusable during our stay. Our stay was especially memorable because of all of the time we spent with Giovanni and his lovely family at Guapote lodge, just across the river bridge. We ate all of our meals there and they made us feel like family. Also highly recommend Proyecto Asis, a nearby animal sanctuary. Would absolutely return to the area!

Awesome place with beautiful views. Restaurant downstairs has excellent food and drinks.
