I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this was the best experience ever. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to spend time here with my kids and get to know Jean and Dave. Their log home is beautiful, soulful, and a marvel of engineering. The views of the meadow and surrounding peaks are breathtaking. It's also very convenient to Kirkwood. The kids loved riding in the snow cat and t playing with their adorable St. Bernese. The breakfasts were also outstanding--especially the sourdough pancakes with organic strawberries. But the best thing about the experience was Jean and Dave, hosts who really took an interest in their guests and have fostered a welcoming and engaging community of travelers. We hope to get the chance to return soon!

This home was a dream for a girls weekend in Tahoe. It’s relatively close to Stateline and served our needs perfectly. I can’t speak highly enough of the communication and responsiveness of the host. Moreover, the home is super comfortable and there were 6 of us- we never felt like we were on top of each other, yet we could all sit together at the dining table and living room couch with plenty of room for activities and conversation. The kitchen was a dream and wonderfully appointed- I was happy to find plenty (like 10+) of plates, bowls, etc. accompanied by cooking utensils, serving utensils, cutting boards, storage items, and spices. We’d definitely come back in a heartbeat and would have stayed an extra day if we could.

Jean and Dave were very kind and hospitable. They have a beautiful home and have put a lot of love into it . Great location , off the path and quite. And there dog Cub is like a cuddling bear

Very comfortable and Debbie was easy to communicate with before and during our stay.

My family of 5 had a nice stay at Robert and Donna’s for a week of skiing. We were able to get to Stagecoach Lift every morning by driving the 30 seconds from the parking area at the top of the steps to the Stagecoach parking lot. There were always spots when we left at 8-8:15am. Perhaps if there was less snow you could walk down the back but it wasnt in the cards for us. Condo had everything we needed for family time in the evening and the drive down to South Lake Tahoe was not far at all. We would definitely stay here again.

My youngest son and I had an amazing time. This was one of the best places that I’ve ever stayed. We will definitely be back. Dave and Jean were the friendliest most welcoming host that I have ever had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 7yr old and myself had an unforgettable stay! The house was fantastic and the surrounding is stunningly beautiful. Rooms are super clean and very cozy. Jean and Dave (and their dog Cub) are very friendly and easy to communicate. Plan to come back next snow season with the full family!

The location is great and the house is lovely. We saw quite some wild animals here. There is a meadow 5 mins walk from the house and we went running there with the dog. Brad and Heidi have been very helpful during our stays will come back again

This home was beautiful. It was the perfect size for my family. It was only a 15 minute drive from heavenly and a 5 minute drive from the grocery store. The rooms were a lot bigger than I thought. I would absolutely stay here again.

Super nice location, quiet and peaceful. The tiny house was beautifully decorated, very clean, had everything we needed and more. The paddle boat and kayak were fun to use and easily accessible. Really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Stephen’s place recently. Tahomie is located in a fantastic area, and it has a very comfortable and beautiful layout. Stephen kindly offered us an early check-in. He is very responsive; we had a few issues, communicated them to him, and he was very understanding.
