We loved our stay at Ramons place! Everywhere you look there are such cool details. We would recommend it to anyone! The grounds keeper, Wilmer, was an excellent host. As a word of caution, the restaurant just. down the road, MacDouglas, was terrible. Expensive and the food horrible. In Ocotal we ate at Llamarada del Bosque, Cinnamon Cafe and Casa Vieja and the food was great. Thankfully the area had cell signal because the house doesn't have wifi. Definitely would stay again!

This place is magnificent.. so peaceful. The whole goal of this farm is to provide work for single mothers which is amazing. It is an ADVENTURE getting here. You 1000% need a 4x4 with good clearance and don’t try driving it at night (like I did..). But please visit this slice of heaven. Note that power is provided by solar during the day then a generator at night for a few hours. Overnight there won’t be power which means the refrigerator will turn off (you should bring food and drinks with you as there is nothing nearby) WiFi is great here while the power is on too! Before checking in or after checking out … They have a store and restaurant about 30 minutes away which is a must too. Thank you all for being such incredible people. @SteveSaysGo

Great place to stay when in esteli. The food park has great food and coffee’s as well as desserts. The view from the 3rd floor is great if you love nature, Rodolfo was very responsive and helpful at all times. Very safe place.

Die Unterkunft von Jorge liegt zwar direkt an der viel befahrenen Panamericana, allerdings liegt das Haus sehr zurückgesetzt in einem gepflegten Grundstück idyllisch an einem kleinen Fluss. Das Haus ist ausserordentlich gemütlich und verfügt über alle notwendigen Utensilien.Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die ausserordentlich schnelle Reaktionszeit von Jorge und den sehr herzlichen Empfang durch seine Eltern.Der Finca angeschlossen ist ein kleiner Dorfladen mit Café,den ich allen wärmstens empfehlen kann. Es gibt unter anderem selbsthergestellten schweizer Käse, zwei Brotsorten, verschiedene Marmeladen, Kuchen und Kekse,Gewürzteesorten, Holzarbeiten und Pflanzen zu kaufen.Auf dem Grundstück fühlt man sich inmitten der Natur,obwohl das Stadtzentrum zur Not auch zu Fuss erreicht werden kann. Man hört die Kompressionsbremsen der LKW's auf der Panamericana,aber man nimmt es nicht als störend war,weil man sich wie in einem kleinen Landhaus fühlt.Definitiv werden wir wieder bei Jorge wohnen
