Douglas and Annie were fantastic. This place was lovely from the home to the scenery. They had lists together for everything you can do in the area. The place was extremely clean. Check-in was smooth and my girlfriend and dog loved the place as well. As long as you follow the rules listed by the hosts your pets will love it here!

Everything was great, wish we could have stayed longer than one night! The only feedback I have is regarding one of the bath robes…even though it appeared laundered, it had several stains so we opted not to use it.

Ceil's home was exactly what I was hoping it would be. We have three boys who had never seen the mountains or snow on the ground and we decided to make this trip their big Christmas gift upon their request. Ceil's home was the perfect combination of value, quality, and the view....oh, the view! It was way to cold for these central Texans to have the blinds open all the time but I would have if I could! The mountains and Pikes Peak were a gorgeous panoramic view every time we looked out the front windows. There was plenty of room for all five of us, plenty of blankets (again - central Texans!), and the kitchen was great to work in - new stove, new oven, new microwave that were very easy to use. I didn't regret leaving even one item at home to make full meals. Ceil also has toys for a varying age range, some games, tons of books, and wonderful touches like eggs in the fridge and fruit on the table when we got there late on Christmas night. We were going to stay at a hotel Christmas night due to a last minute decision to drive up to Colorado on Christmas day instead of on the 26th, again at our boys' request so they could have one extra day in the snow. Ceil called as we were driving up to her place and told us she had a cancellation and we could have the house Christmas night instead of staying in a hotel on the 25th and having to unload and reload the car twice. The house was sparkling clean and very homey after a 14 hour drive! The neighborhood is extremely quiet and pleasant and we felt very safe there. It is close to the Old Colorado City shops and museums and a very short drive to Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods, as well as Starbucks! :) Ceil was quick to answer any communication, extremely kind and personable, and clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining the home and making it cozy for guests. Thank you, Ceil! I hope we can return someday!

Cora is really quick to respond when something is needed, easy to get along with. Always helpful and respectful.

An incredible find, Lorraine’s house was extremely comfortable and welcoming, As were Peter and Lorraine. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic time staying here. Shelly’s place is lovely and spacious, with lots of different spaces to spend time. Shelly was also proactive and responsive.

Cora was very helpful. I had reserved her ground-floor space for 3 nights but after I told her that I could not climb stairs, she told me that the shower is on the second floor. I had read her reviews and really wanted to meet her but I just can not climb stairs. So she offered to help me by carring my stuff up and down the stairs for me. I have stayed in 254 AirBnB's and I have found that most hosts will go out of their way to help the guests. And for that, Cora gets 5 Stars. That is the Beauty of AirBnB >> we have the opportunity to meet nice people who we would never have met without AirBnB.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was a beautiful, peaceful, and private place! We loved everything about it! We hope to be back again!

I held a woman’s retreat at the Airbnb. It was the perfect location, warm and inviting. Communication with the team was spot on. They were always available to reach if I have any questions. I highly suggest this property and will probably return back to it in the near future!

Sean’s place was everything as posted. Very relaxing, peaceful, and it had everything that was needed for serving a Thanksgiving meal. It was out of town but close enough in case we needed something. We will be staying again next time we are in Colorado Springs visiting our son at Fort Carson!

Exceptionally clean! Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the RV was. Plenty of space for my husband and I with 3 kids 5 and under. Hosts were incredibly friendly and quick response time with any questions. I hope I get the opportunity to stay again!

What I liked most was that it felt like I was off the beaten path, quiet, yet close to creature comforts. I woke up one day to horses running across a snow covered field. I am actually a local, but found this to be a welcomed retreat for my Thanksgiving Holiday.

Loved our two night stay here. Really cute and well equipped tiny home and the stars were lovely! Dakota Hot Springs is under one hour away which was also really nice. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this spot! Away from the busy town, but everything is still accessible. This location has lots of local hiking spots and an amazing view. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host were great, and we even got to try out some pheasant green pozole they made! The whole family enjoyed the home and the dogs the yard. Hope our talkative husky wasn’t a bother! Thanks for the stay! Would love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Guest Cottage in Monument! The cottage was just as described - cute, clean and cozy! We were surrounded by the peaceful countryside with far off glimpses of the mountains. Monument is close to numerous places to visit - we especially enjoyed our trips into Colorado Springs to visit Focus on the Family, Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. And if you’re looking for delicious burgers, make sure to stop in at The Skirted Heifer while you’re in Colorado Springs! Sydney is a wonderful host - easy to contact and helpful answering our questions when looking for a local grocer, etc…. Sydney also provided sweet encouragement when we had unexpected events back home. Thank you, again, Sydney, for sharing your guest cottage and hospitality!

everything was perfect and lovely, and Lindsey was extremely kind and helpful! upon arrival, i got out of my car and was greeted by the neighboring horses behind the fence. it was kinda magical.

A truly whimsical and magic (not so little) place. Do not let the photos trick you, this is a steal for a home-away-from-home type bnb, especially if you access the less than 4 minute away Palmer Lake. The chicken fresh eggs and plants made it extra special for cooking meals and relaxing. Don’t hesitate to book ASAP.

This is the second time we have stayed at this amazing home. We love the home itself. It is beautiful inside and had all of the amenities for all of our needs. The house is comfortable, inviting, and so well decorated. We enjoyed the outside covered patio each morning with our coffee, and while sitting out on the patio we encountered at very large 10-point buck (at least 10 points). He was gorgeous! We took advantage of the hot tub in the evening, and we could see so many stars at night. It was just breathtaking. During our stay, we were able to see the Northern Lights from the road, and that sight was beyond words. Josh is a fabulous host. We had a couple of questions when we first arrived, and he was very quick to respond. The only downside to our trip was that it went by too fast, and we had to leave. Since we have family in the Black Forest area, we will be returning...and we will definitively book this amazing place for the third time. Looking forward to next time!

This home truly is a hidden gem in the AirBnB universe. The setting is beautiful, remarkably quiet, serene and relaxing. The home itself is obviously well taken care of and a product of much love and attention. All the very basics of what you love in a great bnb are there, but the home goes so much further, not the least is a mini waterfall and pond in the expansive back yard. Decor and amenities make it one of a kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Beautiful, quaint home. Value is amazing for the price point and the shuffleboard was so cool. I'm going to play shuffleboard at a local brewery now. I discovered a hidden talent. Clean, well cared for, private. chickens were a bonus. We didn't use the sauna but it was easy to set up if we'd wanted to.

Amazing and inspiring property. Highly recommend for those seeking peace and quiet amidst a monumental natural landscape. Clay was a super responsive host and made our experience perfect. Shout out to him and his team for sure. Definitely want to come back next year.

First time visiting Colorado, it was a beautiful stay ! Our host were extremely helpful and very resourceful on surrounding activities / dining ! The stay was equipped with quite literally anything you needed or might have forgotten for your trip. 100% recommend this stay to anyone wanting to visit the area !

My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This place fulfilled that perfectly. We loved the peace and quite both indoors and outdoors. We felt like we were in the mountains even though the property technically isn't. We enjoyed watching deer wander through the property almost every morning and watching weather move across the valley from the back deck. Everything was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. We both commented to each other that the home was better than the pictures advertised. The host was great with communicating. We'll definitely consider returning here in the future.
