We had a wonderful stay and the hot tub was an absolute hit!! The open shower and toilet took some getting used to :). We loved the space and will def go back.

Pleasant stay with an incredible location and the most beautiful view.

Our stay was amazing. This space did not fall short of providing the tranquility that it stands for. The house was well-maintained and beautiful. It is much larger than shown and was enjoyed thoroughly. The host Clifford was attentive when assistance was needed requiring the jacuzzi. Maria was super responsive at all times of the day and made staying there easy and comfortable. We truly enjoyed the space and would recommend it highly to others.

Wir hatten tolle Tage in Paternoster. Die Unterkunft ist ein paar wenige Schritte von Meer entfernt. Wirklich genial. Danie hat uns sogar eine Kajak Tour ermöglicht. Mit Kindern ist das top. Wir haben uns rundum gefühlt und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank!!!

Mark and Jules house is beautiful property. We loved how big the spaces and the incredible ocean view. Its very peacefull and walkable to the beach. our family will for sure come back here one day 🥰❤

What a gem! As a group of 13, we had a wonderful stay. There were ample rooms, beds and bathrooms. The place was spacious, clean and neat and had everything we needed. Plus, it’s just a stone’s throw away from a lovely tranquil beach area with the main bedroom also having a beautiful view from the balcony. The host, Bevan was very organised, friendly and attentive and the check-in process was seamless. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway with friends in this lovely St Helena Bay home. The space is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The spacious kitchen and lounge with a huge fireplace were perfect for cozying up inside, while the big backyard—with a firepit and swing seat—was great for enjoying the outdoors with our dogs. We especially loved the indoor braai area with its large table, ideal for relaxed evenings with friends. The beds were super comfortable with soft linen, and the amazing selection of books was a real treat. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved staying here. Beautiful landscape outside your tent, breakfast on the balcony , lunch on the beach and dinners in the boma. Rasheed is great, always willing to help with a smile and and had a lovely chat with the Theresa about the farm history.We had lovely weather but there is always some wind which is great for those super hot days. Tent itself even in direct sun is always cool and been told in cooler months the evenings can get chilly. Do suggest a 4x4 so you can head to the beach and back when you want however rasheed is available to take you back and forth as well. Overall and great stay and look forward to visiting again!

this is not our first time in the Cape Town area but the first time we have ventured north. it's very different country with largely flatlands as you drive up but with a range of mountains visible in the distance north east from the holday home. the location of the house is beyond perfect sitting directly on the beach which someone told us was about 264km in length (not fact checked!). the neighbouring area is very pleasant with a small shop 5 minutes drive but we found the Spa in the bigger town of Velddrif, 15 minutes drive far better stocked. the town also has some great places to eat and drink with fish & chips from Die Vis Vlekhuis and pizza and gin specialities of Charlies Brewhouse. I can't recommend highly enough for a place to recharge and thank Liezl (owner) and Mariette (property manager) enough for a great visit. we'll be back!!

We loved the stay - so peaceful with just the bush in front of us . No power was not an issue as gas geyser and fridge worked well . The paraffin lamps worked well . The beds were comfortable and lovely linen . The only niggle was that the main bed was too low on the ground and had a big wood strip around . This made it uncomfortable for my elderly parents to use . I would use this spot again

Es is herrlich: morgens aufzustehen, ein Schritt und schon ist man auf der Terasse mit dem schönen Blick auf das Meer und dann noch einen Schritt weiter man ist schon am Strand: Anfang Februar fast alleine! Wenn nicht das Wasser so kalt wäre! Ein toller Platz runterzukommen und zu chillen! Aber ohne Auto keine Chance! Supermarkt, Cafes und Restaurants sind schon einige Kilometer entfernt. Aber das Restaurant DI SEE KAT in Paternoster ist ein MUSS!

Susan, our host was easy to get in touch with, very flexible, friendly and caring. Everything worked out perfectly . The house is absolutely stunning, the heated pool just fantastic and the view is amazing. The house is very well equipped and we definitely missed nothing. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay a lot. We hope to be able to come back one day. Thank you Susan for everything .

Up there with the best places we have ever stayed. Truly wonderful in every way and an unexpectedly perfect find. A superbly well equipped home surrounded by nature and views, places to explore and space enabling solitude for anyone wanting peace. A big 5 stars.

A wonderfully beautiful and serene home nestled in the countryside and with lovely views over the water below. It looks even better than the pictures if that were possible. The home is very well equipped and we were struck by all the thoughtful touches in terms of what was provided. The walks/trail runs around the home are just lovely with gorgeous views and lovely traditional fynbos. Very much recommended.

Great place to stay for a long weekend especially if you have dogs. Dogs LOVED the space.

It was our third time staying at Melanie's place - we just love how peaceful it is and the house with the garden is just beautiful. The hot tub was great for us and the kids. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to get out of the city and in need of a peaceful retreat.

Incredibly charming home with the most amazing surrounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The kids were entertained. Did not bother with WiFi or TV. Just blissful views and direct access to the beach. Loved the little pizza oven with all the tools. The kids went from the beach into the pool. We enjoyed the Kayak as well. Shane is a great a host. Highly recommended.

The house has the most amazing views down the beach. Beautiful places to sit both inside and outside the house to appreciate the views and the sunrise/sunset. Each room is special and the house has plenty of places to gather together or to find a private place. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of plates/glasses/utensils for entertaining, and lots of fridge space. A very special home
