We are a family of five (3 kids) and had a wonderful long weekend. The kitchen is fabulous and made for cooking. We snorkled in the bay and explored several beaches. We asked ahead of time if we should bring our bikes, and so glad that we did bring them with. The view from the back veranda cannot be beat! Our kids swam in the ocean while we had sundowners on the veranda. The pool made the whole holiday for us, and was one of our favorite parts. All bedrooms were very comfortable and the kids were happy to have their own rooms. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, and we had a great time meeting their pets. We loved our visit and hope to have the chance to return some day soon.

Pleasant stay with an incredible location and the most beautiful view.

Lovely place for a weekend getaway. Very peaceful on the water with amazing sunsets. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Kitchen very well stocked, with basic provisions. Has its own private jetty which is a bonus if you have a boat or want to fish. We will definitely return!

Absolutely Loved this place and really didn’t want to leave Architecture, really amazing and loved all the quirky fittings and the hot tub Loved everything about it thank you for letting us stay it was prefect ❤️ Love to go back another time great value for money

Our stay was amazing. This space did not fall short of providing the tranquility that it stands for. The house was well-maintained and beautiful. It is much larger than shown and was enjoyed thoroughly. The host Clifford was attentive when assistance was needed requiring the jacuzzi. Maria was super responsive at all times of the day and made staying there easy and comfortable. We truly enjoyed the space and would recommend it highly to others.

We had a wonderful stay. Absolutely loved the location, proximity to the beach and watching the train go by. Pool table was fun!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. Lynn's place was clean and tidy. Clean bedding and towels. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The private jetty was very nice, we had the entire jetty to ourselves and caught fish from there. There's place for kids to play. The people in the area were also warm and welcoming. Will definitely visit here again.

Mark and Jules house is beautiful property. We loved how big the spaces and the incredible ocean view. Its very peacefull and walkable to the beach. our family will for sure come back here one day 🥰❤

What a gem! As a group of 13, we had a wonderful stay. There were ample rooms, beds and bathrooms. The place was spacious, clean and neat and had everything we needed. Plus, it’s just a stone’s throw away from a lovely tranquil beach area with the main bedroom also having a beautiful view from the balcony. The host, Bevan was very organised, friendly and attentive and the check-in process was seamless. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The house was more than we expected. It was beautiful home with a lovely garden. We had breakfast at St Helena’s Nursery and Coffee shop which was recommended and had a delicious meal! Landi gave us a warm welcome. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Kiewietnes Cottage.

this is not our first time in the Cape Town area but the first time we have ventured north. it's very different country with largely flatlands as you drive up but with a range of mountains visible in the distance north east from the holday home. the location of the house is beyond perfect sitting directly on the beach which someone told us was about 264km in length (not fact checked!). the neighbouring area is very pleasant with a small shop 5 minutes drive but we found the Spa in the bigger town of Velddrif, 15 minutes drive far better stocked. the town also has some great places to eat and drink with fish & chips from Die Vis Vlekhuis and pizza and gin specialities of Charlies Brewhouse. I can't recommend highly enough for a place to recharge and thank Liezl (owner) and Mariette (property manager) enough for a great visit. we'll be back!!

A really special spot! I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else in Lambert’s Bay. While it’s not a town I’d rush to visit again, this location on the wetland is truly lovely. The cottage is rustic, simple, and full of charm, yet very clean and comfortable. The indigenous garden is beautiful, and the outdoor shower with hot water is such a luxurious touch that we thoroughly enjoyed. The porch is generously sized and sheltered, so we spent most of our time there birdwatching and making use of the excellent braai area. There’s also an indoor braai for cooler weather, which is brilliant. The only slight downside is that it’s positioned closer to other houses than we expected. While it does open onto the garden and wetland, it wasn’t quite as remote as we had hoped.

Es is herrlich: morgens aufzustehen, ein Schritt und schon ist man auf der Terasse mit dem schönen Blick auf das Meer und dann noch einen Schritt weiter man ist schon am Strand: Anfang Februar fast alleine! Wenn nicht das Wasser so kalt wäre! Ein toller Platz runterzukommen und zu chillen! Aber ohne Auto keine Chance! Supermarkt, Cafes und Restaurants sind schon einige Kilometer entfernt. Aber das Restaurant DI SEE KAT in Paternoster ist ein MUSS!

Nice little place in the countryside, very calm and lovely hosts!

We had a lovely stay! Beds are super comfy, kitchen well equipped, spacious showers and sea views from every room. The indoor fireplace was amazing on the cold West Coast winter's night. The resort's restaurant, which is walking distance via the beach, is also a must-try.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is nestled amidst breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and hills, with a dam just steps away and easy access to nearby trails. The outdoor seating and braai area were perfect for soaking in the scenery.

A wonderfully beautiful and serene home nestled in the countryside and with lovely views over the water below. It looks even better than the pictures if that were possible. The home is very well equipped and we were struck by all the thoughtful touches in terms of what was provided. The walks/trail runs around the home are just lovely with gorgeous views and lovely traditional fynbos. Very much recommended.

The location was as promised (but not where it was shown on the map). Central located with everything reachable by food. clean apartment, plenty of space for 2 people but I think it's quite cosy for 4 people. fast wifi, good parking also for big rigs. high security standard (don't know if it's necessary but makes coming and leaving a small adventure). staying there is recommended. Thanks for having us.

Staying at this farm house was an absolute dream! The picturesque setting with a beautiful garden and the best pool made our stay unforgettable. The highlight was definitely the hot tub in the rain – such a magical experience! The hosts were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including a mechanic 🤗. Can't recommend this place highly enough! We will be back here soon and feel like we have made friends in an unforgettable place
