Literally steps from the beach, as advertised, we found Rachel's place a perfect oasis for two couples looking to relax in stunning surroundings. The layout of the house is open and the feeling airy, yet it was easy for four of us to spread out into different nooks to read or work. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user-friendly. There's a generous deck right off the house, and a lovely, partly shaded terrace halfway down to the shoreline. We had an amazing beach week, enjoying the gentle crash of waves 24/7 and the different views and terrains on our many shoreline walks as the tide went in and out. Rachel shared many recommendations before our trip which helped us make the most of our time on Eleuthera. The house is well stocked with games, snorkel equipment, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. We appreciated the quality of vacation reading material and noted the harmoniously arranged ocean blue spines of the books on the shelves!

Fantastic four night stay at the Lazy Turtle. The kayaks and paddle boards were a great amenity and we had them out everyday and saw lots of turtles and rays. There is a little inlet 100m up from the house where the turtles all gather as some tour companies come to feed them squid there. Whatever your views on feeding the wildlife, it does mean that if you like looking at turtles you won’t be disappointed as they are in abundance all the time. We explored the area by car and did the usual attractions, glass window bridge, blue hole, queens baths, all very accessible. Went over to harbour island by public taxi, the beach there is stunning and many places to have lunch. We also arranged a private water taxi recommended by the owner and got dressed up and went over for dinner, too. Very cool way to arrive. The house was amazing and we loved the hammock on the roof. Everything was spotless (when we arrived at least!). A very memorable stay.

Jodi’s place was unbelievable! Don’t stay anywhere else. The pictures don’t even do justice to the beauty and peacefulness of the surroundings. You have a snorkeling reef on the property! And it just feels like a real home and not a boring rental. We had such a wonderful time.

Nous sommes partis en famille et avons passé un séjour paradisiaque. Le logement est idéalement placé en bord de mer. Le cadre est idyllique. La maison est juste magnifique, très bien équipée et avec un cadre paisible. En famille, entre amis ou pour un voyage de noce nous vous recommandons vivement ce lieux. La piscine, le spa, le bar et l’accès direct sur la plage sont autant de points positifs. La mise en disposition des canoës est vraiment un plus. Le lieux est magnifique et la petite balade dans la rivière paresseuse jusqu’à la mangrove était un régale. Les activités sont nombreuses sur cette île. De plus notre hôte a toujours répondu présent à nos demandes. Encore merci pour se séjour que nous oublierons jamais.

Just wow. I cannot say enough good things about Sungate, and host Marco. The location is perfect. The beach is a combination of miles of soft, nearly deserted sand, and incredible tide pools and shallow reefs for snorkeling just off shore. The home is incredible. Enough space for 14 people to live and sleep comfortably. It is beautifully decorated, with all the conveniences you would want, including fully equipped kitchens. And you won't find all the amenities at most resorts. A pool, a pool table, ping pong table, a theater room, dart board, and air hockey. Eleuthera is an island to explore, but we found it hard to leave the property because it had everything, including snorkel equipment, three kayaks, and a couple of hammocks. And then there is Marco. He is an incredibly responsive host. Got back to us on any question usually within minutes. If you are looking for a private getaway for a group of 10-14 people Sungate is the place. We will be back! Shannon and Bruce’s place is great. One of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever visited, with actual sharp knives (rare). Fresh fruit and herbs from the garden, used the grill which was great. Very comfy furnishings and all you need for the beach, too. You can walk to a great Caribbean side jump in point (not sandy but convenient) and we walked to the Atlantic for a nice swim and jog on the beach. Convenient location to drive anywhere North Eleuthera, and they give lots of help on where to go. Attentive and responsive hosts who take care of the place. The cats are also friendly and great too. We enjoyed our stay and will do it again, and hope to sail next time.

Amazing! Everything was perfect, easy check in, our taxi (car and boat) from the airport to the dock and the golf cart was all taken care for us. Stress free. Amenities were perfect for our family vacation, lots of family time. We will be back, everyone was so friendly

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

The house is beautiful, clean and convenient. Sherri is also extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Keith’s Airbnb. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and he had everything we needed to have fun on the water! From snorkel gear, to fishing poles, we had a blast. The kitchen was great for us to cook all our meals, and the diving right outside his place was wonderful. The balcony was perfect for watching the sunset, eating meals, and relaxing. We will be back and will recommend to all our friends in the future!

The Coconut Cottage in Hatchet Bay - Marielbys' place - that I stayed at was so much fun. It was out of the way, in just the way I wanted it. It was in a quiet village with neighbors who did their own thing, but if asked, were right there for me to tell me where to go for groceries, where the trash was, or whatever. I mention the trash because I put my trash in someone else's trash bin a couple times before someone showed me where mine should truly go. If you want to disappear off the grid, which was part of my goal, Coconut Cottage is the haunt to go to. I enjoyed and will stay there in a heartbeat again.

Gail and Austin were both fantastic hosts. Very responsive and accommodating. The rental was next to their personal home on Russell island. Awesome private water access at the end of their road. Austin showed us around their garden and cut fresh fruit for us to try. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos. Ac in every bedroom is nice. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years, and with the recent renovations it’s even more beautiful than ever! Bonnie is super responsive, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend this rental, and will happily stay here again next time I’m in SW.

This house is so perfect for a group of 4. The outdoor shower was a major highlight. We spent every morning on the deck with coffee overlooking the harbour. Being able to paddle board directly from the house into the harbour is a major flex. LOCATION cannot be beat. I guarantee you that yours friends will be jealous. Needed to text Charise for clarification about the WiFi and she got back to me immediately.
