We had a wonderful time at Shawnigan Lake, staying in Todd's beautiful cottage! It was perfectly situated right on the lake, with a fantastic dock space perfect for swimming and other activities. We were close to the train trestle, a lovely walking/running trail, a restaurant with a picturesque lake view, and a corner store for quick purchases. Grocery stores were about 15-20 minute drive away. All in all it was an incredible place to vacation for an active family! Thank you so much Todd!

Value proposition here is extremely high. Jeannette and Jim were absolutely wonderful. So kind. So great. Simply the best hosts. If you catch it on a nice weather window as we did, this property is pure magic. Tranquil. Beautiful. So relaxing. The dock area is just a great spot to hang or have a morning coffee before you head out for the day. The kitchen is minimal, which aligns with their description and was anticipated. We were pleased to see there was still a toaster, microwave, multiple options for coffee, so breakfast was easy and no oven wasn't an issue for us. Beds were super comfy, and the portion of their home for guests was clean, quiet, and just a great place to stay. They went out of their way for us, allowing us to secure our bikes in their garage, and make sure we had whatever we needed. J&J- Thank you for everything. Hope to come back and stay again on a future trip to the Island!

Really beautiful place! Private and quiet - except for the nightly chorus of frogs, which we loved. The WiFi was spotty, which was only notable because there was no cell service. Didn’t affect our plans and we had a great time! Very clean, lots of useful dishes and spices. For the price for six people I can’t imagine doing better.

This is a place to stay near Sooke. The house is beautifully furnished and has a great sea view. We enjoyed the complimentary kayaks, hot tub and BBQ. Would definitely recommend!

This is a gorgeous, peaceful spot on the waters of Cowichan Bay. We stayed here with an Intergenerational group of family and it was perfect. There was enough space for people to have privacy in the bedrooms but a good sized table and living area for us to gather. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay for work… Big bright open quite close to lots of awesome trails. Charlotte was friendly respectful and a pleasure to deal with. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for a long weekend to experience some of the holiday magic of Victoria with the kids. It's an easy 20 min drive into town. The trailhead for a walk around elk/ beaver lake is also 20 meters from the door, which our dog loved! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Would recommend!

Tasha's Place was perfect!! The back yard was beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen was the best, large spacious, high end cookware and cutlery, a chef's dream. We brought a dog with us and there were lots of parks near by including a really nice one right across the street. The location was perfect, within walking distance of parks, shops only a few minute drive to oak bay and smugglers cover and only a 15 min drive from downtown. Tasha was a great communicator and her and her cohost were so nice and accommodating. This is one of the best air B&B's we've stayed at so many nice touches. We will defiantly stay here again next time we are in Victoria.

We had such a great stay at Marlisa’s lake house! Very spacious with beautiful panorama windows looking out onto the lake. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for a getaway!

I spent a few days with my extended family at a wonderful place filled with family activities. We enjoyed champagne provided by Loris and had a great time fishing and boating on the lake. The private deck, fishing gear, and rowing boat were perfect additions. The place was quiet, clean, and had a cozy, homey feel, with beautiful paintings, family games, free Netflix, and PS5 games. I highly recommend it and will definitely suggest it to others.

Sandra’s lakehouse was an awesome way for our two families to escape together for a long weekend. It was beautiful and modern, right on the lake with a stunning dock and view from huge windows. The open plan living area and kitchen meant we could all easily hang out while cooking or eating. The deck was spacious and we would have loved to use it more but with the weather it was a little damp for us to be out there. The house was warm, bedding very clean, everything you could think of to cook with in the well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely quiet area. the dock was fantastic to paddle board off of or fish, which our kids loved. The sauna was appreciated by the adults. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

They are so considerate and very responsive

I was in Victoria to do gasfitting course for 2 1/2 months at Camosun, and I needed a place that was really going to be comfortable and have a lot of light to get me through the winter months. Cameo and Wade’s place was absolutely perfect- bright and airy, close to the school, and with all the amenities I needed. It’s in a rural setting and I loved the neighbourhood as well as the sound of running water in the creeks nearby. Mosi bakery up the street was such a great place to visit for an after school coffee and treat. I often sat by the fire pit in the evening and studied. The resident chickens were my favourite and I had lots of little visits with them in the yard. Both Cameo and Wade were super helpful and easy to communicate with. I’ll definitely be back again I loved it.

This is a really great house. It is very simple and clean and in absolutely beautiful surroundings. It is walking distance from the lake that has a great trail around it. There are also lots of farm stands, bakeries, and coffee shops nearby.

Very cozy and clean house. A little further away from the bustling town but also very nice disconnect on the top of a hill. Thank you Danielle for being so accommodating! The lake just a couple minutes away is a nice plus!

Everything was perfect, I would have highly recommend this place! I loved the private garage it made everything very convenient! Very Spacias and still smells new!

We booked Carole's house for a four-night family trip. Our circumstances changed on short notice and Carole was very helpful adding a few extra days for us on short notice. The place was nicer than the listing. The waterfront was like a postcard. Carole's kindness and support were oustanding. Great house, great host, great choice. We'll be back.

Disfrutamos mucho la casa de Sue y Krista !!! Ya que aparte de ser muy amplia , es muy bonita; Krista siempre se mostró muy atenta y hospitalaria con nosotros, también fue muy accesible con los horarios y la comunicación bastante efectiva (tanto al responder los mensajes como de manera presencial); siempre tuvo mucha iniciativa para apoyarnos en cualquier inconveniente que tuviéramos incluso fuera de lo que ofrecía el alojamiento... Los paisajes y las vistas eran maravillosas desde cualquier ventana de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia en ese lugar, ya que te encontrarás con excelentes anfitriones y una granja/casa hermosa ❤️

Habitation très bien placée dans un quartier résidentiel au calme tout en restant à quelques minutes de Victoria. on s’y sent bien, comme à la maison.

Great place, clean and felt like home with snacks, coffee, tea and everything else you might need in the kitchen. If you’re looking for something close to town this probably isn’t your space but the neighbourhood is quiet and felt very safe.
