The stay here was perfection! It was secluded and relaxing. The inside was massive and provided so much space for activities. It was a great location to both go into traverse city, and go to surrounding wineries in suttons bay and near Lake Leelanau. There were tons of kitchen supplies to use and even a grill! It was a spotless and tidy place with games to play as well! We stayed in the winter and we weren’t bored for even a second. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Larissa was an amazing host! A super bad winter storm came through and they advised us that the power was out days before and we were able to communicate through the entire situation. AMAZING communications, great location, everything was as they said! I look forward to booking again in future!

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

Linda's place was everything we could have wanted and more. It was the perfect cozy cabin, so close to our planned activities, nice and quiet/peaceful, and well stocked with anything we could need. Linda was very understanding and a great host. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We love the location and used this as a home base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leland, Traverse City and Boyne Mountain. The house was exactly what we needed! Everything was wonderful and they had everything we could need. Any time we had a question she responded quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and believe we will be back!

This air bnb was beautiful! It’s very private and on lots of land. My dogs loved running around!! There is a hiking trail right down the street that you can actually get to from the backyard. The host was very responsible and flexible, as we got snowed in and they offered us another night at a reduced price. There are hunters nearby so make sure to be safe with your dogs and wear the reflective jackets they provide if you’re exploring.

Jake's place was clean and comfortable. it is a good spot to stay if you're exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the surrounding attractions.

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Eric’s place! It was a mild weekend for Michigan winter, and we enjoyed cross country skiing at the nearby XC Headquarters and a delicious dinner at the Cut River Grille. The living room was comfy for a game night with our travel companions. Eric was easy to contact and the place was a perfect cozy cottage for our weekend! The little touches for hospitality, like having the driveway plowed/salted, coffee filters, extra new toothbrushes, and extra blankets were greatly appreciated. Looking forward to our next trip up north!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places to stay in Northern Michigan. It was my third time staying at the property & it just keeps getting better. It was a beautiful Winter weekend & the cabin/cottage was cozier than ever! My wife & I really appreciated some of the updated decor, features & amenities that Carolyn has added & provided for the space & guests stay. By far, a fantastic "home-base" for anyone visiting & exploring the Leelanau Peninsula. Will stay again, and again, and again, and again!

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.
